Amazing yes brilliant! This is going to be great arc from looks of it. Also this tells Vegeta is not going to ply that important role because he is not there. I love it! Serves him right |

| YES, this is how DB Super shouldve been from the start not rehashing movies and a subpar tournament. I got Chrono Trigger vibes from this episode. Black is really brutal killing Bulma and Mai in just few minutes. Im officially hyped. |

Otherwise, how would you explain both of them wore earrings on opposing sides? Seeing Future Mai present among the big five gave me hope that we will see more of her in the future episodes. It's already seems too obvious that the dark goku and the new green woman are gonna earring fused with each other to " power up" eventually thanks to that one picture,only thing that throws me off is the color of those earrings. Someone prove my theory wrong. And I already see Mai not doing much fighting in this arc because her power level is inconviently low so what could be her purpose for this arc? Why is she needed? |

Why is she needed? she served her purpose for now. she was there to show that trunks had his special someone and for some reason akira toriyama thinks that trunks didnt suffer enough, so he didnt just kill bulma but also mai. its true that it doesnt make any sense that there is a young mai there (maybe as an old hag? pilafs gang always proved that they can survive anything...) then again idk how much we could gain by questioning stuff in a fantasy story, where 7 balls can summon a dragon that fullfills any wish you may have.... |

| It took DB Super 46 episodes to actually get me excited about something. I've been sticking with the show in hopes of seeing something brilliant at some point. I hope they do something epic with this saga. |

| Quite dark and intense for a new arc. Is future Mai really dead..!?? Shucks because she was a badass and looks really cool with a shotgun compared to Mai as Pilaf's henchman and I wanna see more of her (╥﹏╥) So the King of All is the true almighty god in db universe..!?? Because although he couldn't fight, he's able to wipe an entire universe in a blink according to Whiz. I hope there won't be any other "stronger" being than him, otherwise he's just gonna turned into complete joke ╮(╯▽╰)╭ |

| Does anyone else think it might be vegito? Maybe at some point in other world vegeta and goku meet the supreme Kai's and they use the earrings to fuse. Perhaps Vegitas evil nature took over and they find a way back to the living world. |

| RIP Mai T__T You were beautiful again, but it was cut so short!! I'm seriously bummed about that. Since she was in the intro I though she was going to be a prominent character... But yeah, I remember thinking, "How is this already the best episode of Super??" near the beginning, and the Goku reveal at the end was epic! If you ask me what the Naruto theme song is, I couldn't tell you. If you ask wht the Dragon Ball Z theme song is, you KNOW it's Head Cha La. Obviously I don't know if this one will change in the future, but at this point I can still regard Cho Zetsu Dynamic as that iconic theme song for Super, and that's a nice feeling. |

| Trunks is running. What is that creature? Bulma. Isn't that the machine she had Monaka help her with. One way? Mai is waiting for Trunks? Dat explosion. Something has Bulma. Bulma is dead? Dat flashback. Good times. Chichi just pushed Piccolo. She fears noone. Kuririn appears. Vegeta went to Beers world without Goku. lol at Goku checking on them with Instantaneous Movement. LMAO Goku dipped. WTF! Mai! Mai just referred to Bulma as san. lol Black bastard? Trunks is racist? To the past. There were 18 universes. The cat. Trunk learned how to do a slash attack with his sword. It can also block blast attacks. Mai is dead. Goku????? Motherfuckers spoiled the surprise in the opening. smh Also, funny that the previous episode was about clone Vegeta, now its another Goku. |

| Not gonna lie, I was a tad distracted by Trunks' sudden change in hair, like I'm just suppose to accept that it was blue all along and my memories were a lie!? But seriously, this was really good introduction to the arc, I love the set dressing in Trunks story. People complain about Mai but with the segments with her & Bulma we get a good idea of just what Trunks' life has been like, and I love stuff like that little cat. And I really like the decision of contrasting Trunks' tense-filled life-threatening situation with the typical Super silliness of our timeline. It's nice to have dramatic stakes back in Dragon Ball. The way they adapted Battle of Gods mostly removed them, Resurrection of 'F' never had them to begin with, and Universe 6's stakes were intentionally inconsequential, so it's nice to have a villainous antagonist and something with a dramatic pulse back into the series. |

| This looks really promising for sure! Sad to see Mai and Bulma die already even if it's in an alternate future timeline. I'm honestly surprised "Black" is Goku, seeing as this is the same Trunks from DBZ and Goku supposedly died from the a virus back then. Im so excited to see learn about "Black's" backstory. Also cute to see Mai and Trunks hook up in this timeline, seeing as they showed some cute scenes during Beerus' arc. |

| Sean Schemmel sounds so good as Goku Black, holy crap. Also, it's cool seeing Mai taking an active role in the plot, despite dying just a few minutes later. That being said, she's gotta be in her 60s or 70s by now. It's weird seeing her paired up with Trunks, even if she was de-aged and had those brief moments during Resurrection F. Alternate timelines really are a recipe for crazy shenanigans, huh. |

| Pretty amazing episode - moody and intriguing. Black is a strange villain calling Trunks "Saiyan" and wearing one earring. The double "I'll hold them off" scene was a bit much, IMO. |
