Cool start, of the "third season". Glad to hear about the aftermath of Luluco's mother.

Pretty flashy episode like the most and I think it builds well for more later on. I think I saw a piece of heaven, or at least this series' version by Killi-illan(??) with his whole thread of fate thing. Some obvious Kill la Kill vibes this episode because of the threads and OST.

I thought this was a fun episode especially with all the KLK references. I had a moment where I was wondering if Lululco was using KLK music and then immediately Before My Body is Dry started after that thought.

I wonder if we are going to be getting more fakes as this part goes on.

nah, this show is a slapstick parody and KLK was an homage.

and the best part it diminished KLK concept by exposing the life fiber's weakness to flame, in which ends the up the life of the planet.

Loved all the Kill la Kill stuff, especially the soundtrack! It surprised me to see the actual song in this episode, I figured we'd get some type of parody song or something similar sounding.

It's too bad Ryuko didn't make an appearance for no reason, but then all of a sudden we see Guts, which was hilarious.

Great episode.

So guys, did they mention anything about Kill La Kill in this episode? I feel like there might have been a couple references to some other Trigger shows, but I don't get this "don't lose your way" stuff. What's that all about anyway?
How to fix the review section, detailed here

The average reader (HS level) reads at about 200 WPM. So a 500-800 word review should take 3-5 minutes to read. That's an acceptable length for something you're interested in spending 25 minutes to 4.5 hours of your life watching.

Oh, and ANN requires any and all reviews to be 800-1200 words, no matter the length of the show.

What a great start to season 3. so many references to kill la kill I laughed my ass off so hard trying to find every single reference. My favorite moment was when they played "don't lose your way" and of course the guts dog/human hybrids. A part I didn't notice right away is that when the planet is on fire you can still hear fake nova in the background complaining how he's not dead yet. the more I watch this series the more I want this to be as long as a standard episode or at the very least have a huge cross over with everything that trigger has ever made (who knows they might do that for the last episode). or better yet have a kill la kill x luluco crossover in a 30 minute special (that's just me wanting what I can't have)

Well, that was an awesome start for season 3...
This entire episode was a big ball (terrible pun intended) of Kill la Kill references. Honestly, as great as that episode was, I would've liked it more if they directly tied this to KLK as some sort of sequel/show that somehow takes place in the same universe. Hey, it still might actually be the case.

Also, the way Trigger censored Kill la Killian's name despite being the creators of KLK was funny.

I lost my shit when Don't Lose Your Way played, the planet is called KLK-X, and being named a Kill ** Killian.

It seems like this show's relations to Kill la Kill are the the equivalent of how Space Dandy is to Cowboy Bebop. More callbacks rather than a full sequel or spinoff.
