| My enjoyment of a kiss scene depends more on what happened before the scene rather than during it. Mostly the interactions between the two characters and their individual characterization/development. Overall though, I absolutely love kissing scenes in anime. On screen kisses are definitely preferred over off screen but I'll take an off screen kiss over that bull where they almost kiss but then get interrupted. As for favorites- |

| In romance anime, kissing and sex should be considered a pretty normal development in a relationship. Yet the people who make these stories appear to be shy maidens who've never been in a relationship, and this is reflected in their characters. So yeah, it's disappointing when kisses and such are implied. |

It really felt like the author didn't care about the characters in his own work. I couldn't finish it. Kannazuki No Miko would have been my first Miko+Mecha anime too. Instead it was taken by Tokyo Ravens and I'm super happy about that. |
