| Damn to have this anime end here just wants me to watch more! I really hope there will be a second season as this was really entertaining and as the story is far from over I'm really interested to actually see how it would end! In general I really liked this overall anime, it was quite entertaining had great pacing and development and was overall quite fun with all the reactions and what not! So all in all it was a great anime to marathon! |

| Loved this show. I had been putting off reading this manga for a long time and now I have every reason to read it. The confrontation between Akira and Souma was pretty epic. I loved how Souma incorporated everything he learned from his failures into his dish. Both where pretty awesome. The ending was pretty great, got a laugh out of the tsundere scene with Nikumi. There needs to be a second season. I hope there's a season 2 once the manga releases more material. Till then I'll be caught up with this series. |

| 9/10 it was really enjoyable, one of the best this year I'd say. Hope there's a second season. One question though, who's the fourth person qualified for the main event? It's not really wrapped up in this final episode. |

| I can't believe that it was the last episode. It's like I started yesterday with watching it. Perfect ending for the hopefully first season of Shokugeki no Souma. The fight between Akira and Souma was nice, especially when they fight each other with the spear and these knuckles. Soo close, Souma lost with 1 point difference, but also interesting that he would have won in an Shokugeki because he got more points of every single jury member compared to Akira. To be fair curry was the speciality of Akira, next time maybe it ends completely different. Oh and the foodgasm of Erina because of Soumas dish haha that was very funny to see :D The scenes in the polarstar base were awesome, to see almost everyone who won the first round together :) Nikumi was a little bit jealous on Megumi and Isshiki LVL 3 in swim pants was priceless.^^ Poor Megumi had to eat some of Soumas "special" dishs octopus in yoghurt >.< Absolute amazing anime, I enjoyed and loved every single episode. I think that's also because it was a new art of anime for me. Food + Ecchi + Comedy + some hinds for Romantic = Subarashi <3 I hope so much that there will be a second season for it, but when I see all the comments here on MAL I don't think I have worry. 10/10 for me. | Souma lost with just 1 point, i feel ya bro ! Those dishes were absolutely tempting, was drooling all over my keyboard. This seasin is pretty decent, but too bad we didn't get to see Erina x Souma moments i hope Erina get more scenes on the next season. Overall score 8/10, looking forward for the 2nd season. |

| 9/10 Adaption for me. It's ofc not on the level of it's masterpiece Manga, but i'm satisfied with it and hope to see a second season! Still not really happy with one of the best mc's ever having the Kirito voice, but ehh. fuck it. |

| It was good ending, but nothing surprised me (at least not in a good way). I didn't like that Megumi had 'lovers' scene with Souma and not Nikumi :/ It is like telling us already who his girl will be... Souma lost but they showed it in a way that he didn't lose... draw but not a draw. That was nice way to solve this. It was great show, funny with unconventional idea and ok plot plus some nudity ;) 8/10 Wanted to give 7 after first few episodes and 9 + would be too much as this anime lacked something ( I can't figure out what yet, but it is incomplete), maybe second season will have it? I hope so ;) |

| Souma made omelet again but copied from Hayama's strategies . So for me it's deserving that Hayama would be 1st place on the A group eliminations! Hope there's a second season because it'll be more epic and more intense! 5/5. 10/10. |

| Oh man, what an exciting episode! Dang both their dishes look SO good ... no surprise that Akira's is amazing, and just as I expected Souma got 2nd. What I DIDN'T expect was a risotto omelette! Now THAT'S creative ;P Akira's dedication to Jun is so cute :3 I wanna see more of his past! Except I'm wondering ... there was a tie for 4th right? They didn't show who they picked to go out of those two ... uh, so, are we ever gonna find out? :S Cute ending where they showed everyone celebrating, even those who didn't make it (RIP). Plus a nice scene at the end with Megumi and Souma ... though of course, a fitting end with another "experimentation" gone wrong XD Very nice ending! Surely there must be a second season coming now ... right?! :O Overall I highly enjoyed watching this anime. It was always very engaging with an amazingly diverse cast of characters, fitting music, and of course ... great animation to go along with the great food! ;P I guess my only complaint would be that it's pretty cliched at times, but hey, it's fun and I loved watching it, which is really what matters right? Hoping we'll get to see more soon! 9/10 |

| Pretty fucking good, honestly. I really enjoyed it. The cast was super dynamic and interesting. Surprisingly, a good balance between females and males so that both genders had some fanservice. Lots of amazing food, art, and STELLAR music. Why I wouldn't consider it beyond a 7/10 is because I don't think I got much out of this show overall. It's a fun Shounen with cooking fights, a cool school, good cast and visuals/music. There is nothing super special about it other than that. It does not focus on character relationships, team building or other things I usually expect out of a good Shounen series. My favourite character ended up being Takumi. Cutest thing ever and I like how he cooks! Natsuki Hanae was a good choice for him. Also, the rest of the characters had excellent voice actors too - Suwabe, Matsuoka, Ono Yuuki, Nobuhiko. Damn. Will probably read the manga. If not, I'll wait for a sequel. |
| That Hayama vs Yukihira battle was top tier. Technically speaking Yukihira would have won the battle if the match had been a Shokugeki. Ryoko mentioned that 3 judges gave Souma more pts than Hayama. Yukihira: 19,19,18,19,18 Hayama: 18,18,20,18,20 Therefore the match would have been 3 -2 in favor of Yukihira. Regardless of the score, it was one fantastic match. Can't let curry master lose to Souma this early. The 2nd OP pretty much spoiled who the winners were going to be, at least to the people who have not read the manga. That Erina scene at the end. lol Overall this show was a masterpiece. 10/10 in my book. Pray for a 2nd season. More Erina and Yukihira going boss mode. The side characters also had their moments. Like Isshiki, and Yuki with her cheerful attitude. |

| Loved the way there was so much thought and detail put into every single dish, the ecchi got kinda repetitive after a while but overall a very fun anime to watch, 8/10. |

| What a nice ending for a show full of foodgasms. Good Job for Megumi passing the prelims plot armor is too stronk in this one and for Block A, the outcome was pretty predictable but it was fun I guess like wtf is with the Indian? Chibi Soma in the end. For the series itself, the art & animation was fine, the music was great, I don't know but I liked the 2nd cour's OP and ED a bit more than the previous ones but still both OP and ED are eargasmic.The characters are pretty much likable like Nikumi, the Aldini Bros, people from Polar Star etc heck even Alice which is the best grill on this series. The only downside for this series is the way they infodump some of the ingredients the chefs use especially when they use some ingredients from out of this world which kinda ruins the enjoyment of some people like me who has no fcking knowledge in terms of cooking. Other than that a solid 8/10 series . |

| It was fine. Because of the usual shonen cliches I thought it would get boring quick but it was actually enjoyable to watch. I don't get why the score is so high tho,prob because of ecchi scenes lol |

| It was okay for a show that only revolves around cooking. But honestly I found it overrated since I decided to watch it based on the ratings. Lesson Learned: Don't judge an anime by its ratings LOL. I liked the concept of the show and some of the characters but nothing really happened apart from cooking which made it boring to watch and the urge to drop only got stronger with every episode. But I decided to finish it. Even the characters hardly had any development cause they were too busy cooking all the time with the exception of one or two. One thing I absolutely disliked about the show were those redundant and exaggerated explanations and foodgasms. I even began skipping that crap in the last three episodes. I guess I should've done that from the start and I would've saved so much time since half of every episode shows that crap. Overall 6/10 |

| I love cooking and already was a huge fan of the manga... That being said, J C Staff did a terrific job at adapting it. Very pleasantly surprised. This show is awesome on so many levels, from the suspense, the adrenaline (seriously I felt like watching a nekkutsu at some times), the hilarious humor, great animation, cast of interesting, colorful, well-developed likeable characters, the informative facts about food, DEM FOODGAMS, Soma's hilarious and badass dad, the parodies (Erina as Blanka LOL), the drool-inducing depiction of food,... This was like eating a delichus dish ~~ 10/10 for me. |

| Well, I ended up liking it a lot more than I expected to. I think this series hit its high point mid-way with the survival camp and the temporary visit of Souma's father. The end of the series was decent, but still felt like a step down imo. Even so, I had fun with it. I'll probably read the manga sooner or later. I don't know whether that will be before or after season two. Nice job. |

| Great ending episode, can't say I was expecting Soma to lose by 1 point though - thought it would be a tie. Still team Nikumi here though, pretty plz with cherries on top. I NEED THIS. Overall, really liked the anime though. Amazing cast of characters, great OST, greta animation, mouth watering food, great humor... one of my favorites that I've watched recently! Can't wait for season 2. 9/10 |

| 2/5. The last episode didn't leave out the results of the top four contenders of Group A for the main tournament. It was shown the contenders of Group B for the main tournament was Alice, Hisako, Takumi and Megumi. It was also shown that the contenders of Group A was Akira, Sōma and Ryō. But it did not show who was fourth in Group A. Shun and Zenji both had a score of 88, but it didn't show who emerged from it. I researched and figured out the name who placed in fourth. Subaru Mimisaka. I was left scratching my head who Subaru Mimisaki was. I tried to remember all the faces and names of all the characters in the anime but nothing came up to mind. I researched more in depth and clearly did not who he was. Unfortunately a plot hole at the end of the series of who the 4th contender of Group A was. I guess I'll be forced to read the manga or wait for season two. Overall, 8/10. It was a great anime. |
