It's been over three years since the previous season of Working! ended, so a lot of viewers moved on to other franchises. Besides, it's the final season and the manga has ended, so this is probably what's left of the fandom it once had. Can't say I'm surprised. |

| I’d say Working!!! is doing fine, taking in consideration that the manga already ended last year (Nov. 2014), and that it’s been almost 4 years since the second season was released. 'Most cases' is being rather generous, most shows don't see a S2. With sales like that it would depend entirely on how the source material was selling. That and going by Working!!'s past sales, it would certainly look a little on the bad side of the show. Pretty much nothing came out this week so being at number 1 for anime was an absolute cakewalk but it's still clear that show has fallen off massively. Also how could it have another season if the manga I done and dusted. It's like people just do not pay even the slightest attention to literally anything being said in these threads. They just come in and comment about what they would like to believe is reality. This season currently on pace to continue the trend of absolutely dismal BD sales of late and the interest remains whether anything besides Symphogear can even Crack 10K, yet I know you're going to have people sitting around acting like everything is great and their favorite show is just absolutely killing it over in Japan in the pretty much rapidly declining late night anime BD market. |

How long before we're sitting around cheerleading the R2 market for managing a show that crosses the 3K mark and saying "boy that's great, that shows just killing it over there". It just seems laughable to me. The market is clearly in a recession if you look at the numbers as a whole lately as opposed to just whatever your favorite show is and/or are just seeing what you want to see and replying with some generic cheerleading comment. Why is acknowledging this bad and why do people seem to be either oblivious to it and not confront the reality. No I'm not trying to say something like anime is doomed, but just that the BD market is clearly struggling these days in comparison to even a couple years ago. |

Also maybe Overlord actually doing well for Madhouse along with things like Mahouka and No Game No Life has something to do with it being based on a Light Novel and thus ACTUALLY targeted at the Blu-Ray collecting audience. Then again maybe people should just spin what I say into something stupid and completely misunderstand my point or just ignore it altogether cause it's potentially inconvenient to a narrative people want to believe.
