| Loved this episode :3 It's one of the episodes that showed Natsumi to actually know something instead of being a sort of an airhead. It was funny when she pretends that she had watched a show, lol :D And fireflies scene...marvellous! At least this stopped Hotaru from crying :D |

| Not the best, but still a good episode for me. Felt so sorry for Hotaru when her fireworks evening didn't go as planned - but it was so nice seeing everyone trying to comfort her even when they were disappointed. And I just love seeing Nattsun and her shenanigans! |

| This show is such a great treasure! so much laughs on the conversation of Natsumi & Hotarun wherein Natsumi started a discussion about an anime where she could really not relate and even trying to change the topic, it still has a relation wherein Hotarun always relates to whatever Natsumi is saying! bwahahah! Then when Natsumi forces to relate about the show she talks about Pink and Red ranger but there was no relation on Hotarun's knowledge! so much lols! LOL at Renchon! at 1st will suddenly praise you then she'd backfire you ("now you're getting a big head") LOL again at Renchon! trying her best not to let Hotarun feel down but herself already feels down because of the epic fail parachute firework(s). But there's a good thing at least, the very beautiful night scene of the fireflies! thx to kazu-nee. 5/5. |

| Fantastic in its technical quality, as in the narrative. The characters starting with Renge are beautiful and they are all great in their own way, beautiful costume design seen in this episode, good Silver Link. Interesting start with Hotarun and Nattsun, and the final with the girls who go to see the fireflies. Ah! I want to go live in the country. |

| Natsumi and Hotaru conversation scene were totally random and hilarious. Natsumi randomly sputtered out an anime she doesn't know was priceless. Also, I like the Pretty Cure parody. That was a nice shot out. Renge-chan attempting to like the parachute firework to make Hotaru feel better was hilarious. The poor girl was truly devastated lol The firefly firework scene made the ending more beautiful and unique. I hope there will be more scenes of the girls doing everyday stuff like this. |

| So I was poking around on the Wikipedia list of episodes and they translated the title as "We Made Friends with Fireflies", but Hulu translated the title as "I Became Closer to Hotaru". I thought this was interesting since both of those interpretations actually applied to the episode, and the katakana for the title could actually apply to both. This made me appreciate this episode much more. |

| That talk between Natsumi and Hotarun was a disaster. I sympathized with Natsumi. I'm dyiiiing. But I feel Natsumi during that scene. I used to be friends with these 4 girls when I was in college, and there's one of them who I really don't know what should I talk about when we're alone together. Ugh. It was the most uncomfortable feeling ever whenever we're together; I can't even talk to her properly. Hahaha. Idek why I was friends with her especially we didn't share anything which we both love or at least like the same things. So, I felt Natsumi to the bones here. Even though, Natsumi knows a lot of things, she shouldn't be called a genius according to Ren-chon. Hahahahaha! I feel bad for Hotarun. Aww. Especially when you can see the disappointment in Ren-chon and Komari's faces. Haha. I was wheezing with their faces. Haha! Goddamnit. That freaking "parachute firework"! Pffffft! "Disembodied souls!" Dafuq, Komari! Hahaha. Even though they didn't light any fireworks, they saw firefly fireworks. Hahaha. Hotarun so cheesy af. Ugh. That was a very heartwarming scene with the fireflies. So beautiful! I can't with the feels this show's been giving me. It's so relaxing. :3 I love this episode so much! It ended sooooo great. | Yeah.. Natsumi thinking that they're (Natsumi and Hotaru) maybe first time alone.. And yeah.. I was just thinking 2 or so episodes back, that Natsumi and Hotaru maybe talk with each other the least.. Hm.. Hotaru pretty likes some of her anime, hm?.. ;p Well.. I still guess, that they could share anime interest together.. Just if they'd watch the same things, but if Natsumi watched magical girls show, the other one was magical girls as well, it seems?.. So really they could talk about that, if anything.. It seems that Hotaru is very excited about her anime.. At least that one series.. It seems that Hotaru is very enjoying some of her hobbies.. She's very excited about it.. About this anime show, reptiles, also making plushies of Komari.. She's really loving her hobbies, isn't she?.. How Natsumi is bad at biology in school, but not in the nature, lol.. Fireflies look very nice.. And.. Hotaru not only have flowers named as her, but also fireflies are named like her as well?.. |
