| Youko is usually my favorite character, but I have to admit, she was pretty dumb in this episode. Nagisa on the other hand, i don't really care for, but i warmed up to her quite a bit. She was a really cute and has a cute dere side too. |
| Well, this was an alright episode I guess. The cliches sorta killing it for me, but yeah, ignoring them, it's still alright. Horny Principal might be a good character. I still waiting for erotic grill tho. |

| An actual funny episode. Looking forward to when the full cast is assembled so we can get more episode like this one. Shiragami being oblivious as fuck is great; Iinchou is best romantic interest anyway. |

| Youko is just so cute and my favorite within the series. I've never read the manga to this one, but so glad I'm liking it. I'm actually pretty excited to see Akane more; seeing how she loves snacks/sweets. And that pink hair is also a bonus. Good episode overall. I don't think I have a problem with any of the characters so far. This one was really pretty enjoyable and funny. Although, did anyone realize how Youko was standing in broad daylight when trying to get the door open with Mikan and Shimada when Asahi and Nagisa were alone in the back school shed? I thought Youko would get tanned if so. Guess it just depends for how long she's out in the daylight. |

I don't insist on anime exactly following the manga, but I fear they are going to try squeezing 86 chapters into 12 episodes, loosing much of what made the manage special in the process. You need look no further than Rosario + Vampire to realize the damage this can do to an anime. |
| Kind of a shame that they're butchering this adaptation. Ok, well I shouldn't say butcher, per say. At least the changes they're making still keep the flow consistent. It doesn't detract from the comedy at all, and the overall start to finish of each episode has been kind of similar to the manga. But judging from what they're trying to change and pulling here, they're going to try and add a bunch of stuff and twist events around to give this a rushed ending. At first they were sticking to it well, but now it seems like they're just going to rush in and introduce all of the main characters as quick as possible and play around with events until they get to the ending. I have a feeling they want to end it at the newer manga chaps, for readers aka Which explains why they introduced the talking glasses so early. They wanted them in as a comedy gig, but with a faithful adaptation it wouldn't have made it nearly that far. They also didn't show Rin in the OP at all. (I wont spoil anything about Rin, but she's a character who is introduced much later on), and the event I posted in the spoiler really doesn't have her around anywhere near that manga material, so they might have decided to cut her out entirely. Also no mention of Youko's parents probably for the same reason. The comedy is really good still, but given the direction they're taking I don't see this studio staying with the series for the long haul. They'll prob hit the 12 episodes and end the show there for good. Unless shit takes a drastic turn towards the end. Which is kind of disappointing. The studio had so much fabulous material to work with. I understand that they want to get to certain parts of the manga in order to progress the story and stuff, but sometimes you just cant rush shit like that, you need to take the BD sales risk and let the story develop naturally. I don't want this to be Tokyo Ghoul and Akame ga Kill all over again. |

Sometimes it takes something drastic to make someone realize their own feelings & mistakes. Nagisa was just very slow on doing so. I see her in a better light now...
