| This episode <3 I like the people of the Polar star. So it exposed that Satoshi is the No. 7 of the Elite. Interesting. His food must be really good as we saw on Soumas reaction. Haha the holy mother is so funny. When she tried to kiss Souma LOL. But when she was younger...pretty hot I have to say ;) |

Still got a long way until that happens, though! Satoshi is part of the Elite 10 :O He's the 7th seat while Erina is in the 10th. I'm guessing you're seated by when you joined? Unless there really are 9 other chefs better than Erina. That's interesting. Now the question is when will Souma get a seat?? I feel like he'd reject the offer if anything hahaha. |
| I am not sure if I would want to eat this mackerel burger and egg soup :| But damn that granny was hot 70 years ago :D It was obvious that he would enter to the bath where Megumi was... they could at least make it that she was hidden in foam and they wouldn't notice each other untill he enters the bath thinking that it is for him (luxury school after all). It would be way funnier. And how Megumi could try to get to this dorm for 3 months? She is same age as Souma, but also she already had some E ranks before Souma even joined the school. How is that possible that she started earlier? Mazui! Isshiki ass :/ again this episode could be better I still don't see why this is ranked #38 Ending was nice ;p "Take me" and that Isshiki introduced as 7th in school. |

| Was mostly a feel good episode that introduced more characters! So excited to see Sakurai Takahiro voicing the new hot guy who's 7th seat in the elite council c: Yo, that dorm squad is amazing. I'd love to live with people like that. |

| Young Fumio looked pretty. Souma went boss mode and made that burger like a G. Fumio got taken to Souma heaven. Poor Megumi, her naked skin virginity was seen by a naken Souma xD Seems like old Fumio lets the students do as they please and Satoshi being the 7th member of E10. |

| I feel like there needs to be more variety in the reactions in this show. I liked that they toyed with our expectations with Fumio's reaction (old lady reaction -> actually a reaction with a younger version of herself -> real world punchline), but the format still feels a bit too same-ish. Likewise, I'd like to see Souma looks less perfect sometime soon; even if he's a prodigy, he should have things he needs to learn and shortcomings he isn't aware of. For him to already be "perfect" is too hard to swallow. As a counterexample, Yakitate Japan had neither of these issues. The reactions were much more diverse in style and while the protagonist was also a prodigy who frequently surprised his mentors/judges, he still had things he needed to learn, as well as occasional help in creating a dish. I'm not trying to make this into x vs. y, though, since there are obviously other things that could be criticized in my counterexample; I'm just pointing out that this aspect can be and has been done better. In any case, the pacing and tension in the food battles continues to be good. I was slightly concerned how this will work if it is tethered to an enforced battle per episode, but if this episode is any indication, it might not end up being a negative. |

| I'm a little confused here. From what I can see, all of them from the 92nd generation entered the school on the same day, at the induction ceremony. But for some reason the rest of them, besides Soma, have already been living on the dorm for a long time. Megumi for example have tried for 3 months before getting accepted to enter. Is this some "three months later..." bulls*** we haven't been informed about, where supposedly nothing worth mentioning at all has happened? |

| I love Souma's style of cooking (like for example, he still finds a way to cook something by using the left-over ingredients) and also the mechanics of this show that explains the food. Nice introduction of new characters. Lol @ the granny's flasback when she was a teenager. I find Isshiki so hot, though he's somewhat a weirdo. Lolololol. Dat ass though. So he's top 7 in the "Elite Ten". Once again, J.C. Staff did a great job in this episode. <3 |

| This series is just okay so far. Nothing amazing yet, I can see its potential though. Besides, it certainly isn't bad. Mind you, I don't think any anime bath scene will live up to KonoSuba's. That episode was just way too goddamn funny. It's a bit annoying when something's so funny, it makes other things less funny. Oh well. I liked how Shinpachi was one of the dormmates. |

| I don't mind that the MC is a perfect cook right off the bat, it means that whoever rivals him is an incredible cook. Watching this as someone who doesn't eat animal products makes it very noticeable that every meal contains something I wouldn't eat. It seems to be using the umami flavor in every meal idea, umami being animal products. |

| Soma masterfully crafted a closet-cleaning leftover canned mackerel patty. It was so good that it reminded old lady Fumio of her rather naughty maiden days by the sea. I wonder how Megumi survived those 3 whole months sleeping outside before she had successfully gained entry to the Polar Star Dormitory. They're all happy weirdos in Polar Star getting drunk on Ryoko's fermented rice juice but that living hunk of manservice turned out to be the 7th in the Elite Ten, wow. Each episode just keeps on escalating and I love it. |
