| - Rin's "I don't exactly hate you" is missing all of needed tsun/dere in it. And of course they kept her's "i can't leave you or ill end up worrying for stupid shit you do line" but where Shirou says that about rin in previous episode? NOPE Gotta remove that. - The master padding flashback - Well of course a person of middle eastern descent will use sacrificial slaves...Yay for casual racism. - Another non canon fanfic part - a magus using technology. Magic and Tech does NOT go together. They are opposites. - Instead of proper flashback of Medea's life that would make us care about them we get more pointless talking between Filler-Master and Kirei. Yay? - Rin shock scene is still the only good part of episode - The unfitting comedy/gore tone shift is still stupid. Overall even though I understood most of episode without subs, subs did not help in anyway to improve the episode. 2/5 |

I wonder how they'll do ''that thing'' (VN reader, you know what I'm talking about). It's nice that they showed more background on what happened to Caster with her original master. They didn't explained it in the VN and it was a bit of a bummer. That mage was sooo ironic though. And I was laughing my ass off that he was a mage, yet had to use a lighter to bring light x) She killed that bitch with style. Sacrificing children remind me of something... At least, the last of them were saved, and lab, destroyed. Kotomine also had a really sneaky smile here. That man is up to no good. The two homonculus death was pretty sad. But at least they died doing what they were made to do, protecting the mini-mage. But Illya will avenge them! Well, Berserker rather, let's say. I hope. And you know, there are two people on the way to the castle... :D Rin was so silly in this episode. Illya and her really can't stand each other. She was doing her waifu work here. Shinji just can't do one thing right. If only he could had face crushed himself real hard on the ground, I would have been happy. | Damn that was nice! Liked the extended Caster story with her first master. How the hell did she survive Lancer when she was injured and weakened to that extent? And Kirei! U're such an asshole! I love u XD But really, u gotta feel bad for Caster :( The Einzbern's forest part was awesome!! Lol at how Rin got shocked way stronger than Shirou XD Gil finally in action! Damn those Sella and Lyse deaths were brutal as hell T^T Really loved the scene Sella's hair went loose. Beautiful :3 The last part with Berserker appearing ready to fight Gil and Gil making his smug face was so EPIC! This fight is gonna be the shit!! Nice that they announced Hercules identity :3 |

| Not bad. The parts with Caster's master were somewhat interesting, but nothing special. Rin was good this episode. Sella, Leys. T_T Overall, fine. Never object to seeing Illya. Next episode - that's where the real shit gets going. |

| After watching the episode, I have to agree with some of the complains. Caster flashback was pointless. If you wanna go ahead and do original content, then try your best for it to be well presented or don't do ANYTHING at all and just continue making a faithful adaptation of the source material, but comming up with such a rushed job that you try to fit in 6-7 minutes out of nowhere with characters that nobody cares about (because they didn't even existed before these scenes) is a terrible way to do it. Shinji's scenes felt kinda in line with his character so, while not a fan of them, I don't have much to say about that subject. The fight with the maids and the build up for Berserker vs Gilgamesh was very well done though. I have my heart set on the fight next week. |

| Like I expected, this episode wasn't bad at all and quite frankly it was pretty good imo The backstory of Caster felt a little fast paced but I think the gist of what they were trying to convey is that, she's human and that all her life she was used and abused by people only to always lose in the end and have people ridicule her which in itself is kind of sad (Heck if I didn't know how much of a bitch she is I would have probably felt bad for her lol). The way she and Kuzuki met was cute tho and damn I'm guessing that Lancer fucked her up after she killed her master huh? I wish that we could have seen that :( Either way, I think that what they did there was done okay and wasn't by any means bad The latter half of the episode was the most hype....Holy shit Gilgy is back and he's fucking shit up in style like only Gilgamesh can >//< I noticed that it was censored but that's understandable and now it explains why 7 mins were cut....That stuff really was brutal lol....Losing limbs and a beheading...Holy shit xD The Shirou and Rin scenes were cute...Classic tsundere Rin and Shirou but what made me die of laughter was how Rin got REKT from Ilya's traps xD Kawaii Ilya laughing at her was cute too....Loved the F/Z references with Iri and then Gil dropping the whole Kiritsugu x Irisveil thing but I especially loved seeing Fuckboy Shinji get tossed around like a bitch Next episode is when shit is going to get REALLY HYPE AND I CANNOT WAIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

In school we learn how "bad" the Nazis were to the point everyone gets sick of the school shoving that dark history down our throat. Actually I think what Fai does is WORSE than actual racism. He basically says Middle eastern people have a "special right" to have their culture, religion, etc. be protected from criticism and satire, while other cultures and religions can be made fun of and criticised as much as anyone likes. That is in fact the same as actual racism (in this case the opposite extreme), but even worse because it disguises itself as having the "moral high-ground", which makes this much more dispicable than any actual racism could ever be. |

| I really did not care about Caster's master flashback that seems like a filler because I know this story so well and never heard this on in such details but all that is not important. That ending, that hype! I don't remember anything else but that as I rematched it twice already. I have been waiting for this Gilgamesh greatness! |

It's racist to the americans, and this portrayal has the possibility of being interpreted as racist too towards middle eastern people. I'm not saying everyone will agree, but the fact that some can and will interpret the depiction in this episode as a stereotype, confirms that racist mentality may as well be active in this case. |

As I said, you would have to consider Hellsing Ultimate, which basically does the same in a much greater scale towards The roman catholic church and Germany, yet I cannot remember anyone complaining about that. |
