Lol, Shinji: One of my favorite character showed up this episode. Quite pleased to see that and all the buildups with the other servants/masters was quite pleasing to watch. Let the Gate of Babylon open! :3 Looking forward to some Berserker action next time. |

| Caster’s backstory was great, nothing racist afaik, just a dude with a large harem. Rin's zap scene was awesome. Shinji can kill Servants~~~ And his falling from the sky is just so fun~ Leys and Sella ohgawd. Gil go and die in a hole >_> Now Berserker vs Gil ^_^ Mod Edit: Merged threads. |

| So, looks like there's quite a lot of new anime-original stuff here. We finally get to see Caster's backstory and all that happened with her old Master! Yay suffering! Yay backstory!...though it's rushed. Afterwards, we move onto the Einzbern Castle, and while I'm glad blonde foreigner-kun finally gets to enter the fray (oh and lolshinji), I just gotta say...poor maids... damn you Ufotable. I mean, sure, it was inevitable, but still. Ah well, praise the king~ ... Overall, a cool-ish episode. Seems like we'll be getting Illya and Berserker stuff next~ AVENGE YOUR MEIDOS ILLYA-CHAN AWWWW YEEEAAAAAHHHH .....................ahhh, who am I kidding, the next episode's gonna be really painful I bet. why is the other topic still locked dammit |

| Didn't like it. Was admittedly excited for Caster's background, but it was kind of rushed to hell and seemed so pointless due to it. Gil and Shinji being Gil and Shinji is about the only thing I liked honestly. |

| Wasn't too bad I guess. So uhm... Shinji didn't really block anything. Leys was just holding the halbred to his face (like she's pointing a gun at him), she wasn't trying to kill him, and he just grabbed it and tried to move it away from his face (obviously he can't do that). |

| Between missing the first 5 minutes and the horrible lag, i can say i enjoyed this episode. So far I'm enjoying this better than the first cour, which makes me happy and hopeful for the future episodes. Liz and Sella's part scarred me :'/ Can't wait to see Illya being really heartless next episode. |
| Salt vs Hype round 2? Anyway... The only thing that bothered me was that it took like 3 seconds to instantly go from daytime to dusk, unless it's another one of those "screen darkening" because of contrast between the sky and GoB, which would be fixed with BD. Still at this point in time I don't know for sure if it's still daytime or dusk already... At the very least the PVs gave me impression that it was nighttime when the fight started, but that is a bit hard to believe now. I liked the comedic bits with Shinji falling and Rin being blown away by the barrier. Then sh*t got real. Oh and... it was revealed in passing that Berserker is Heracles |

| Welp...This episode could be described as "Rushing continues or Holy Pointless Filler Batman".... - Caster's backstory doe snot even fit the description of "abridged". It literally is NOT THERE. None of her characterization nor parts that would make us care about. Instead we get. - Holy Casual Racism Batman. Yay for a misogynist muslim with a typical harem. What the fuck Miura. And of course... - Servant LEvel Shinji. Servant Level Shinji. Servant Level Shinji. I can't stop fucking laughing at this bs. xD well this confirms this as less canon than Prillya. - And the spoilers of unfit comedic timing seconds from gore were correct. Well I have no hope for fitting emotional scenes after this now. Who the fuck places a comedic gag seconds before beheading and gore? No one sane for sure. The tone shift were jarring and amateurish - Caster flashbacks were utterly weak and of course all of hr past was cut and we got to put up with racist portrayal of unspecified arabian/muslim person. Of course the only POC in the show is a dick. Useless and rushed filler episode. Most of it - anime original content. Most of anime original content - useless. And none of stuff that mattered was adapted. This literally felt like written and directed by five year old because who the hell puts COMEDY GAGS that close to "Srs" gore? WHO? When the only good thing in the episode was THE MOST HATED CHARACTER IN WHOLE FRANCHISE(Shinji) you know it was a trainwreck. But HEY ! AT least we got THE ONLY REAL TRUE CANON RIN MOMENT IN WHOLE SHOW SO FAR, where Rin, LE GASP! IS not perfect and fucks up majorily. ...Evil Muslims and Servant Level Shinji........................I think I will go insane from this shit.... 2/5 |

| GIL YOU SLIMY F*CK I WILL MURDER YOUR FACE! Now that that's out of the way I must say that although Casters back story felt a little speedy and Shinji's buttmonkey scenes were just wtf it was a pretty cool episode. Although Casters lore would have been more helpful than her summoning I had fun watching her Rek his sh*t. Mess with his head then set him on fire. That's how Medea rolls. Rin eating the field was hilarious, 10/10 will Gif. Illya scenes were great. Too little meido too late ;_; Gil can die in a hole. |

| I liked this episode less than the previous one. Didn't liked Caster's backstory at all, need to watch with subs, though. The one thing that i liked was the Gil scene. Now waiting for the next episode which will show Gils surgery skills. |
