| After watching the first episode my guess is that it will either be really good or really bad. Hopefully the former one as good dark fantasy anime is quite rare. |

| That show look edgy as fuck. Oh well, it kind still be fun. There always need to be that kind of show in a season :P It sure is action packed. And for CGI, even if it look a bit ''plastic'', it's still very well done. The lucky boy got his own magical girl transformation :O Other have already pointed it out, but the design sure look like Ornstein from Dark Soul. Even the universe seem a little bit similar. I shouldn't have read the synopsis on MAL because it spoil plot that hasn't happened yet. I guess it's not important plot, but still, I feel like I already know what will happen next week. |

| The episode was overall OK, the armors looked really cool and the whole "witch hunt" part was rather interesting as they were actually hunting those that killed demons. |

| The dad reminds me of Jecht so much. And the king's son kinda looks like Luke from Tales of Abyss. But otherwise it was a pretty decent first episode. I'm glad this isn't exactly like the live action show either. I've got that stuff downloaded and ready to watch now. :D |

| Very promising although the whole armor thing kind of ruins the fan. Is like a Berserk mixed with Karas type of thing. Anyway definitely something i will follow but i have a bad feeling it might end up being too simplistic and power ranger like in future episodes. Hope i am wrong. |
| Holy shit, it is so rare to see a mature sex scene in an anime. Usually its some kid blushing and acting like an idiot. What a breath of fresh air. Love this so far. I can't even think of another anime with Gothic architecture. Seems to be Late Middle Ages. |

| Didnt like the OP, but the ED was awesome. Sounds very similar to the Toyko ESP ending. Is it the same performers? This was a pretty good first episode, probably one of my favorites this season. I LOVE the armor designs. |

| Not bad. Good action. I like the "different" animation/character styling. The CG demon knight felt a bit out of place, but no matter (that slo-mo introduction looked amazing, though it lingered just a little too long). I've heard that ED artist before... Mirai Nikki was it? |

| Don't know if I'll ever get use to the mixture of CGI with "2D" animation, always a bit weird to me. But the CG was well done nonetheless, so it has this going for it. The action is good too, and I personnally love what we got for OST. |

| This is almost GARO perfect. The CGI is difficult of course. It's always was, especially when these Horror beast come out at night to fight. Unsure about the character designs. They're very...well, "anime"? BUT! The show has the right #GARO atmosphere so far. And dude you got to see sex and you got to see a Greek torture-execution. *snaps fingers* GARO. | Another great beginning episode, Mappa is really doing well this season. First Bahamut and then this, I wonder what show will be my favorite, so far both looks very good. OP was good, ED was bad and I'm not sure I like those mechanical armors - would be better if they were more medival-ish or organic perhaps. But I like the story and its presentation, and dark-fantasy world they created. Gotta keep watching this further. |

| Oh dang. Another medieval fantasy action show this season that's pretty good. Shingeki no Bahumut and this show feel very similar to each other yet different. I like it so far! Good start. |
| OP song and animation are quite unique, not sure if its something to write home about though. I'm somewhat dissuaded from watching more because I don't like the contrast of the 3D knights with the "more 2D" world (setting and character design). A couple of the action scenes could have been better, such as the Gold Knight passing through the burning house that the Horror threw at him. I just saw frames of flames before the Gold Knight just appears, without cutting anything. ED is definitely nothing to write home about though. I'm very late to this thread. -.- |

| Love the setting of the show, but not only is the CGI grating on the eyes, but the art style of the CGI feels really out of place. It's like Megatron invaded the Middle Ages. Story seems promising enough to give it a chance. |
