In the manga the Zodiacs were shown right after Meruem and Komugi's death, which imo was not optimal placement. Placing it at the end of this episode was much better, imo. So the part where Killua at the hospital with Gon scene takes place of a chapter a little ahead after Meruem & Komugi's death and before Ging and the group shows up? Speaking of Meruem & Komugi, I really missed them already: it's very sad we won't be seeing them anymore ;_; and yes I'll always treasure their moments and their character development, they brought the best part of HxH. Also I really hope Kurapika will appear again after his long absence. |

| Sorry if it was mentioned further up in the discussion, didn't have time to watch the episode til today, buuuut, is there going to be a valid explanation as to why Kite got reborn as an Ant, even though his body was never eaten? Also, the return of the early-series music gave me some goosebumps, nothing close to the feels of last episode, just a nice shiver of nostalgia |

| Thank God Reina's mother is not one of those mothers who'd detest their child because they're different. And also those villagers were kind to her... faith in humanity restored...slightly. So what will Killua do?.. don't tell me Pitou is still alive and Killua's gonna make him heal Gon? well I guess I can wait. Ging finally makes some appearance.. and hopefully this time it will be longer. and goddammit that hair.. someone fix that. |

| Wow. They packed a lot into this episode. The reunion between Reina and her mother got me to tear up. I felt so bad for those kids. I hope she and Colt can meet someday... And speaking of Colt, lolwhat? Kite was reborn as a little girl?! Morel's reaction was hilarious. (But wait... I didn't think Kite was eaten? o.O) Killua is awesome right now. I don't know how he plans to save Gon, but I'm glad he's sticking by him. (And yes, Gon definitely needs to apologize.) It's also cool to seen the lengths Knov is going for Gon. Hmm. The leaders of the Hunter Association, eh? We'll finally get to see what Ging is like. - - - - - And with that, I'm finally caught up. I don't think I could have picked a better time to start HxH, given that this arc was only concluded a few days ago. Now I just need to decide whether I want to start watching weekly or put it on-hold until the next arc is over. What do you guys think? Also, would someone mind giving me an estimation of how many episodes you would expect the Election arc to last? |

I said 20 episodes in the last thread regarding Meruem x Komugi because that's the number of episodes people have estimated for the Election Arc's adaptation. And in those 20 episodes your platonic love will no longer be a thing! Also, I'd say wait it out but I personally can't handle the wait ._. |

| Well, I usually prefer to marathon, but it's a bit harder to judge the pacing when you do so. I think the Chimera Ant arc would have seemed to drag out forever had I watched it on a weekly basis. (Mostly in the middle area with the less-significant Ants that needed to be defeated.) Still, if the anime is likely to go on hiatus after the next arc ends, maybe I'll just try it week-to-week anyway. It sounds like a short arc, so I can get a feel for the pacing. |

| Great episode, this episode was very effective in it's job which was transitioning to the next arc. The episode was better in the second half, that ending tho.... Damn epic and intense! GING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 5/5. Can't wait for the Election arc. I'll miss Hunter X Hunter ending theme song 5 Hyori Ittai and the Chimera Ant arc which I've been following for a year now but I'm very excited to see what's next now in HxH! |
