What are you going to watch and why did you pick those? Main reason why I'm posting this: Grisaia no Kajitsu since it's an adaption to a visual novel. I still don't know if it's going to be this summer though. v1 - http://i4.minus.com/iYpszdwrADft8.jpg Update: v5 - https://atxpieces.files.wordpress.com/2014/07/summer-2014-v5.jpg |

I'll Probably end up watching... Sword Art Online 2: I'm not exactly sure how this one's going to end up being. It may just be an extremely similar story in a new game, but who knows! Maybe they'll come out with something a little more original. Hamatora 2: I'm a fan of mystery anime with protagonists that excel in wit and intelligence so I enjoyed the first season and am hoping for an equal if not better second. Zankyou No Terror: The plot on this one seems interesting! Depending how they go about it this one could be a great mystery/action as well. Those three are the main ones that stick out to me. I'm sure I'll end up watching more of them in the end though. |

Why you look forward to the ones you choose. Example: They are sequels of something that you liked. The synopsis looks good. Remake of something that the anime screwed. The character design seems nice Adapatation of something you have already read. Etc. OT: Kuroshitsuji because the complain of the manga readers that circus arc wasn't adapated in the previous series. Zwei and Yama no susume for being sequels |

Definitely: Free! 2 - Thought the first season was pretty decent...and the second season can only go up from there. Glasslip - P.A. Works is awesome at everything Sword Art Online 2 - I do hope it makes improvements...because the first season had a ton of potential and squandered it Maybe: Psycho-Pass: New Edit - I say maybe because I already saw the first season and I'm not sure what the new edit is going to do other than possibly get me excited for season 2. Sailer Moon: Crystal - I'm really not sure what to think of this. I didn't particularly care for the original Sailor Moon, but it's not like I hate magical girl anime. |

Aldnoah.Zero because Urobutcher, so I'm hyped. The new Sailor Moon of course! My childhood right there, and it'd be cool to actually watch it with Japanese voice actors this time since I've only seen it with the English voice actors. Plus, it'll be animated in today's standards so that just makes it all the more better. Maybe, the "edited" Psycho-Pass. Apparently it has new footage but 11 one-hour episodes? Well, I'll see how it pans out. Bakumatsu Rock for the laughs. It sounds ridiculous and I need me some ridiculous sometimes. Then again, the second season of Free will probably give me that too. I'm thinking of trying out Shounen Hollywood, Rail Wars and Tokyo ESP. Not expecting too much but the synopses sounded good to me. Zankyou no Terror caught my eye a while back so I'll be watching that. Ao Haru Ride! I read the manga so for sure I'll watch it. Glasslip because Nagi no Asukara restored my faith in P.A. Works again so I'm hoping it'll be as great as NNA! And then KanColle and Dramatical Murder. I haven't played either games that they're adapted from but I've heard things about both so I'm hoping the anime will give me a good idea about them! I usually end up watching a lot at the beginning of the season anyway before I drop a couple after some episodes. |

Space Dandy 2- the first season was entertaining. Sword Art Online 2- I liked the Aincrad arc... Zankyou no Terror- this is probably the one I have the highest hopes for. If it turns out to be a good thriller anime, I'll most likely love it. I'll also keep an eye on Rail Wars, Tokyo Ghoul and any other anime that'll catch my interest. This summer season seems promising and 2014 in general could be a great year in terms of anime. |
5 main aspects I base my ratings on: 1. Did DramaEnthusiast make a thread about it? 2. Is it better than Breaking Bad? 3. Did MellowJello recommend the shit out of it? 4. Has it caused a (very entertaining) shitstorm on MAL? 5. Is it actually good? Scratch the fifth point, it's not very relevant... |

Pretty interested in seeing how the "re-cut" Psycho-Pass turns out though I'm not too keen on watching stuff I've already seen again. SAO 2 is a definite if only to see how much worse the show can get. Apart from those though, Zankyou no Terror seems to be the only interesting new show. |

Just a quick glance of what i think i will follow this summer. More shows will be followed later Aldnoah.Zero - Promissing staff and the scenario reminds me of Muv-Luv Alternative/Unlimited. Grisaia no Kajitsu - Hey, a Visual Novel that I'm currently reading gets an Anime adaptation! I'm curious how it will turn out, it probably will be my first Visual Novel adaptation where i've actually read the source material if i don't watch Little Busters! Before it airs. Tokyo Kushu - Mystery and horror huh? I'm interested, i saw the PV of this a long time ago. Zankyou no Terror - Sounds interesting and it seems it has an high acclaimed director working on it. Not much to say on this one. |

Series already on my list: Free season 2 - sequel to a series I enjoyed so of course I will watch. Yama no Susume second season - loved the first one, enjoy the manga and this series isn't a short either. Really looking forward to it. Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun - I've read the start of the manga, and am looking orward to seeing how it is adapted Hanayamata - one can never have too much adaptations of manga from Manga Time Kirara. Rokujouma no Shinryakusha - adaptation of a light novel on my long list so a must watch for me. It sounds interesting enough too. Obviously. Sabagebu - I'm not really sure what to make of this. Shoujo, airsoft? Will watch out of curiosity. Seirei Tsukai no Blade Dance - Another light novel adaptation, this time one that is on my short list. Really looking forward to this one. Added 26/4: Jinsei - I hadn't realised this was a summer series. Not particularly excited for it but it could be enjoyable. Kantai Collection - I want to know what this is all about. Added 25/4: Glasslip - that second PV convinced me. Majimoji Rurumo - forgot to add this sooner.. One of those things that will likely be bad, but worth a try anyway. Momo Kyun Sword - I was on the fence with this one before, but (as I usually do in those situations) I decided I would give it a try. It could be interesting. Rail Wars - because why not? |

Zankyou no Terror - The premise is interesting. SAO II - I watch this only for Sinon. Glasslip - I got NagiAsu vibes from it. Hanamonogatari - More monogatari would be nice. |

Well, according to AniChart, I'll be watching (or have an interest in watching): Aldnoah.Zero: Urobutcher, mecha, etc..... A success or a try hard? I wanna know first hand. Bakumatsu Rock: I've always had an interest in Japanese history, so that helps. I'm worried that it's being made by DEEN, though. Btw, "Music"? Sailor Moon: How many times have this been delayed? DRAMAtical Murder: I know that it's a Shonen Ai, but seeing the Action and Psychological tags might just be enough to keep me tied to it. Illya: Only if I manage to finish it's first season by then. Free 2: Sequel. Futsuu Joshikosei: Skeptical of the idol thing, but if it's a comedy seinen, I'll be more than happy to give it a try. Glasslip: What can I say? That synopsis incites my curiosity. Kantai Collection: Well, I've seen more than enough fanarts of this game. Now to see what it's all about. Momokyun Sword: Skeptical about the ecchi tag, but the Japanese mythology is quite alluring. RAIL WARS!: I don't even know why, but I feel that this will be the surprise of the season for some reason. Sabagebu!: Military...... not something I've seen much of, so I am rather interested in it. Sanzoku: I see a bow and arrows. Shirogane: Mecha..... do I need say more? Space Dandy 2: Supposing I finish the first season and like it enough to continue. SAO II: Same as above. Tokyo ESP: ...... Tokyo Kushu: ........ Zankyou no Terror: .............. I'm sorry, were you expecting me to detail any reasons on those 3? Yama no Susume 2: Sequel. |
