| a really intriguing ending to the season. the battle in anne's room was really interesting and it really was great seeing atsushi take charge of the situation instead of running away like he was going to. it really made me excited for season 2!! this show was such an enjoyable watch!! great characters and balance between humor and serious moments. |

| This was a solid 7/10 or maybe even 8/10 anime for me for the majority of it, pretty much till episode 8. Anytime dazai is on screen is always a blast and what really carries the show for me; I'm pretty fond of every character though, but dazai and the doctor lady are definitely the best! Kinda got turned off after episode 8 though and it became kind of dull, lowered it down to a 6 for me |

| Hmm, it was alright. It did remind of Kekkai Sensen, but just a little watered down. I wasn't expecting it to be so shounen either for some reason... Enjoyable plot twists, some more predictable than others, and cast of characters. 7/10. |
| Hmmmm, so he's the boss of the Port Mafia. This anime is just fine. I'm annoyed when they always show how unlucky Atsushi is. Port Mafia doesn't look like a big threat. They just appear and disappear lol don't understand them. The agency's member are so quirky but I only like Kenji and the President, others are fine though but that's it xD 6/10. |

KYOUKO!!!!! THE WAY SHE REACTED WAS FUCKING AMAZING. Poor Atsushi, he was literally talking with the mafia leader like they were understanding each other. So that "ex-doctor" was after all the leader of the port mafia. No wonder that random girl felt so much malice coming from him.  Good last episode, didn't really like The Guild introduction that much? But I absolutely enjoyed seeing the last part. Now, the first half was kind of annoying and somewhat boring with that god damn flashback repeating over and over again. Overall it was still good (nothing bad to say for the animation and OST since Bones was the studio working on this) so strong 7/10 or 8/10, I still have to decide between these 2. P.S: Forgot to write about the actual last part (when he returned only to see The Guild's assassin dead on the floor. That scene was 10/10 with Chuuya in the middle. This made the port mafia so muchbetter, while before this it was only Akutagawa carrying it, now they showed their true power, that assassin got destroyed. Looking forward to the 2nd season!  |

| The first half of the season is very average and painful to watch. It actuallly made me stop watching for over a year because I forgot about it. LOL The 2nd half is actually amazing. If it was the 12 eps like this it would have been a 9 or a 10 for me. Now it stays at a 7/10 but it made me hype for the sequel. |

| Seems to be continued. Not good battle but Atsushi got a good word from his opponent lel. I know from the first time that professor is the head leader of Port Mafia. Thought they will start a war soon. |
| Lmao was that leader guy supposed to be a refrence to Okabe Rintarou? He even had the same name Anyways good anime. Will continue watching, it really reminds me of season 1 of Durarara before it went downhill. I like it |

| Even though it was one of the better episodes, it doesn't necessarily work as a season climax, feels more like the start of a new arc. Overall, taking both the individual stories as well as the greater plot (both related to mafia), it kind of felt messy. The characters and their interactions with Igarashi faces were clearly my favorite thing about it, the character faces were also very consistent and I'm obviously going to watch s2 because Takuya Igarashi. |

| Damn, that was some ending there! I knew that old man would be someone of high rank but for him to be the ultimate leader of the Mafia group is a big surprise. I was wondering why they decided to end the season with this episode because it felt like it could've been much better to have this before Episode 10 but the last couple of minutes made it all clear. Speaking of Episode arrangements, by the way, no idea why they decided to make Episode 11 kind of filler-ish, or rather not part of the overarching plot. I would've preferred if they rearranged this and had this before the arc involving the Atsushi - Akutagawa showdown. Anyways, back to this episode, it was pretty concerning to see Izumi's reaction, he's pretty strong, alright. Liked that little hug by her initiative just a few moments prior to it though, she's hardly had trouble expressing herself and that's nice to see xD. And now we've got a third organization in the mix, called the Guild. Don't think they're done just yet but I'm sure the Mafia's done a fair bit of damage already. It'll be interesting to see how the stakes will increase from here on, it feels like the series will only get better from here on. As for the season in general, it was entertaining to see the various characters from famous media and there's a nice element of mystery in the air too. You can just hear the S-tier voice cast in motion too, especially enjoyed the roles of Miyano Mamoru and Kamiya Hiroshi-san. Also, I got an instant deja vu feeling when I heard the ED theme, I didn't know it was from this show though. Strong 7/10 for this season, expecting things to get better next season onwards. |

| Woh! How MAL has changed in these months, I almost don't recognize him anymore. Where was I, AH! Those who know me hate me, but given the limited time available, I had to choose whether to leave this site or be more pragmatic and get to the point. I chose the second approach which is not to comment on all episodes of individual anime series, but to comment only the last episode and make a summary of how I felt about the anime series. I'm starting right here, because I had to start and finish it for a long time and then move on to the next seasons and arrive in time to watch the fourth season. Anime that I liked after all because it always entertained me and involved me in every episode. Even the last episode with the open ending and the announcement of a new season didn't make me turn up my nose at the fact that throughout the series not all my expectations were met, starting with the fact that not all characters have had a lot of space during the story arc. As far as I'm concerned, the vote I give it is 8/10. |

one of my most fav episodes. overall season is excellent. I really like that doctor mori sensei being with port mafia. He is such badass guiding ada against lucy. the reveal made me shiver just like kyouka did after seeing him. dude had the crazy eyes even before the reveal  lucy had even worse crazy stares. there were 2 more in this very episode damn  |

| Now that Season 5 is underway, I finally got started with this series after having my eye on it for a while. Unfortunately I did not enjoy Season 1 very much. At this point in the series, I don't see a lot that really justifies the popularity. How did this get so many seasons? Was it because the light novels/mangas were much better and already huge in 2016? I'm NOT saying this show should not be popular, I'm just curious about WHY it is. I see a lot of praise for the characters. I do think they have great designs, and each of them has a strong hook (or gimmick, to be less charitable). But is this all that a character needs to become so popular? With the exception of Atsushi, none of the characters have understandable emotions and motivations. They all act either cool or goofy, whichever the story dictates at that moment. Some get backstories, but these don't do much to explain why the characters are the way they are. At no point did I wonder or care about whether they succeeded or made it out alive. Speaking of danger, the story and the world are a total mess. A lot of reviews mention mystery and intrigue, but the show throws around international crime syndicates, corruption and terrorism haphazardly whenever it feels like it, and none of them seem to hang together. What kind of place is this? Add in superpowers, and the whole thing becomes murkier. People get shot and maimed, and some die on the spot, some hospitalized, and others just shake it off. People get attacked, captured, released, punished, forgiven, and they escape, win, lose, then mostly move on afterwards. What actually matters? What's possible and not possible? I did not get any mystery or drama because I could not make heads or tails of the whole situation. Reviews often bring up the fact that the characters are based on real literary figures, but do most viewers really care about this? Do their real life counterparts and their literary works even meaningfully influence the story and the characterization? Based on what little I could learn from Wikipedia, the connections are very surface-level, like copying the titles of their literary works for attack names. Maybe it's "not all that deep", and the series is just beloved for its cool character design and vibes. But I was mostly apathetic and confused while I struggled to finish this season. Season 2 is supposedly better, but given how disappointed I was by Season 1, it's hard to be hopeful. |
| For a second I genuinely thought Atsushi was just going to bail on the trapped agency members. Would've been a harsh move to pull, especially after Junichirou and Naomi supported rescuing him from the mafia. But it turns out he had a plan all along. Man, this anime has a lot of seasons, at least compared to what I usually watch. |
