I'm glad to hear that you will read it. The story includes elements of fantasy and magic, but also has some darker moments. If you're interested, I can send you some pictures of the panels beforehand. Don't worry, they won't contain any spoilers.

My suggestion would be to postpone researching the LN until you are up to date. By then, the other person may have replied to me, and I will have answers for both of us about it.

Yeah, it has an LN and it is further along than the manga. The manga is only up to halfway adapting Vol. 2, and there are 8 volumes of the LN out right now.

Gotcha, Monster is really good so at least you have good taste. If you are looking for a rec, why not check out Witch Hat Atelier? It has some of the most amazing art and paneling you will ever see and a pretty amazing story, granted it's still publishing - it even has an anime on the way.

Great to hear that you enjoyed Oshi no Ko! Apart from finding it "so good," what specifically caught your attention? I'm guessing the ending of the first episode left an impression on you. I agree, it was quite impressive and it reminded me of a manga called Act-age.

Have you had the chance to check out the LN version yet? I've been thinking about giving it a try myself, but I heard you need a subscription or to buy coins from J-novels club to access it.
