| Excellent direction. It's rare to come across an episode of an action show where I'm not annoyed by the little details they do wrong. I get why Bishamon is sad. Her Shinki were family to her and she didn't want them to die. I understand that very much. However, that bad guy is just a power hungry lunatic. Yato is awesome as always. Still who blighted Bishamon's first set of Shinki? That's what I wanna know. |

| I am crazy about the OP, so damn good! That was intense for sure! Didn't expect it to get dark. The ma clan killing itself out and then trying to kill Bishamon as well, yet they dare call her for help... Kazuma better pay that favor back. Yato's an amazing guy now that I think... Yukine is definitely not dead, but that was a cool scene. |

Whether it be characteristics of people or a genre of some sort, you never know if you don't like it until you've seen quality work corresponding to that genre. | Really intense episode. I loved the backstory for Bishamon though it really makes me not like her as much. I wonder how Kazuma and Hiyori well get out... That cliff hangar definitely was intense. Having just watched Walking Dead kinda made me draw parallel's lol. Can't wait to see what happens next. Hope Yukine is ok. |

It's fast-paced, but they're not leaving too much out and the direction is good enough that anime-onlys can understand what's going on. I'm fine with it as long as they don't mess up with the canon events. Still can't understand why they wouldn't want to do both arcs properly in 26 episodes, though. |

| Wow, that was an amazing and intense episode. Younger Yato is incredibly badass, would love to see more of his backstory and such. Finally understanding more about Bishamon and Kazuma as well. I hope this isn't all too rushed and we're not missing too much manga content, but either way I'm enjoying the heck out of this anime right now. |

| Addicting! Just the word to describe this episode. Narrative rich backstory, action and plot twists, in addition, the drawings and animations are worthy of praise for the right support given in terms of graphics. The circle is closed perfectly, too curious to see the next episode. |

Ok, at least someone needs to slap her 10...no a THOUSAND times over. ....Dang though...past Yato seriously looked/seemed really cool....makes me wonder if he had a different wardrobe choice he could've retained some of that coolness... | Wow such a perfect episode. The characters building is so well done in this anime, you experience the same feelings than them. The face of Yato was amazing and the Yukine's sacrifice was unpredictable. I almost cried. I'm glad that they explained the past of their relation, it was a great episode :). |
| It was so obvious that Bishamon hated Yato for a stupid reason. She should have died back then indeed. Also while I don't really like Yukine that end was not good. |
| So Bishamon doesn't know the real reason why Yato killed off her clan and who contracted him to do it. They're making her seem too dumb and clueless. Saying her children are fucking innocent, how dumb can she be? Jesus Fucking Christ. With many of today's Anime and manga series, there's always a somewhat "good" or justifiable reason why someone killed another person or a group of people (in this case, Bishamon's clan). I'd like to see an Anime where someone kills someone in cold blood just simply because they were paid to do so or fighting for a cause they believed in (or was contracted to do so) like Hitokiri Battōsai in Rurouni Kenshin. |

| Some plot armor for our favorite little teenage shinki would be more than welcome. Btw, Bishamon is an idiot. A big-hearted one, maybe, but an idiot nonetheless. It's a shame that her hatred for Yato wasn't given a more believable context, when you know what's really happened it feels more like some dumb unfounded grudge than anything else. It seems ridiculous now that she would despise Yato for killing her shinki when said shinki had ALL turned into a giant Ayakashi ready to eat her ass. It's like she didn't even bother asking Kazuma (the one survivor) whatever the fuck happened back then. Agreed. Bish's hatred would've made more sense if, I don't know, Yato had killed her shinki while they were still in human form, for example. Kazuma's decision to wipe the Ma clan to prevent a situation like the one we actually got (giant Ayakashi eating Bish) and Yato's resulting actions would've thus come off as much more ruthless and morally ambiguous. |

| Intense episode. I wish that Yato really had killed her regalia out of another reason and not make it a justifiable killing. If Yukine stays dead, that will be a very interesting and exciting direction for this show. Somehow I don't think they'll do it. They lack the balls to kill off characters nowadays and Yukine is important for a certain demographic they surely want to keep. |
