| Damn, they put a lot of budget into the OP song. Even a bit of that classic Saber's Exalibur as part of it. Poor saber in the beginning though. She is still held captive by...Caster. Rin's narrative is interesting to say the least and overall, I thought the chemistry between her and Archer is good. Rin's fight against Caster was nice too. Of course we also get her reunion with Shiro. Archer so gar:  |

| OP2 is so much better than OP1, just because it's Aimer. >Ever Present Feeling Betrayal and graveyard scene already? This is really frigging fast-paced. 2nd half should've been a separate episode. ;; ED is pretty typical for Kalafina. Kinda dissapoint, tbh |

| Shirou's monologue at the start was nice, as far as I could tell, will have to wait for subs to see though. I actually rather liked the OP. Shit, did we just get a shot of Archer in life in the ED? That looked nice. Or GAR, rather. Lol that Saber ecchi face. Shirou's didn't look half bad in his entrance in the Church scene. No ever-present feeling, am disappoint. Next is confirmed to be a Caster episode, it seems. Pretty rushed, as some said, but not too bad otherwise. |

| - The pre-op scene was great. Shirou finaly got a monologue longer than 10 seconds and it was first in whole show. - The OP is way too mellow. Should have been the ending. And ending should have been the OP. This is way too disappointing. - Oh yay the dream and yet again unclear. Yet again trimmed. Yet again the main important concepts not explained. - Ufo changing scene locations again. Yeah. Rin would TOTALLY sleep outside her boundary field GREAT CHOICE -_- - The episode contained way too many malegaze shots again btut oh well, Miura gotta miura. - At least Archer's betrayal is MOSTLY intact, but with shitty fight added in...And Shirou's pov AGAIN. YAY FUCKING YAY FUCKING HELL. - Rin Wank -__- Rin should not even be able to surprise Caster at this point. LEt alone catch her offguard with magic. - SHirou fares worse than in VN. And he runs stumbling on fucking rocks(WHAT THE FUCK) and falling instead of badass entrance after inner monologue. Fuck mnoonologues. Id take the entrance alone -__ - Oh look another change to make Shirou morepassive - TOhsaka bullying him into the Sitting down. - Why the fuck this is not in graveyard...why the fuck this is not in graveyard. why the fuck this is not in graveyard. - And let's add more typical tsundere violence instead of serene scene like in VN. What the fuck is miura's obsession with making it more generic? - ED Should have been the OP. Why was most of EP Rin POV instead of main character POV? WHY? This was perfect episode to add in some Shirou pov and insights to make him seem better character than he is in this anime. Instead it was mostly Rin POV. -_- This pretty much confirms most of prescreening spoilers too, barring certain details. 4/5 for the episode still for action alone. 3/5 if I were to rate as stand-alone adaptation, but this clearly is not. |

The OP and the ED are totally awesome, I must admit, though I'd been hoping just a bit that the ED would focus more on all seven Servants as with F/Z...but that's just how it is, I suppose~ |

| Still laughing hysterically at Miura deciding to make Shirou stumble on fucking rocks in one of his most badass scenes. What the fuck. also they REALLY fucked up with Church basement. It is EXACTLY SPELLED OUT IN FATE that it is too small for any bigger confrontation. That looked like a fucking ballroom. Oh, sorry, all of the capsed is "objective", while the actual things are delusions, according to Fai. Just sayin' Just ignore Fai. Consider this the "burial" of the salt. Rest in Piece, salt. --- This episode was great. It may seem rushed, but I don't think anything of importance in terms of actual scenes is missing here (can't say anything about dialogue yet, need subs for that). It's also good to see that those ridiculous "spoilers" were completely made up. We lost 1 week of time based on fabrications, but w/e, this episode makes it up again! |

| Everyone is enjoying teh ep like the best one so far and then there is that one guy..... Not much to add to what others said. Well I didnt like the ED song and except from teh archer and ShirouxRin scenes the Ed lacked visuals as well. |
