| Hmm. Guess ANN was wrong. Last week the site said this filler lasted 2 more episodes, guess not. Okay, so I thought this episode was a mess. The 4 ninja dudes fighting Yamato, Sai, and Sakura way overreacted to their substitution/clone jutsu. You're a ninja and you've never seen it done before? Naruto's friendship speeches are really, really old. Enough of them. It would have been nice if we actually saw the full Rokubi, but oh well. I forgot Naruto hasn't found out about Jiraiya yet. |

I'm not going to lie it's kinda sad to see Ukataka get subdued and knowing his cruel fate that awaits him, but it was refreshing to see Pein realizing it was the end of the filler arc. It would be cool if Ukataka was part of the cannon story for Naruto, but i guess 1 can't have it that way. Did i mention i love Pein's score/music theme, just beautiful. On another note I'm glad the writers became responsible for once and didnt drag this filler out more then they didnt need to, unlike always having to hear about a promised place and blah blah blah....moderate ep, but great ending for a new beginning or return. ........oh yeah, it wouldve been nice to see Ukataka's full powers and the 6 tail in action, oh well.... no offense but dont you know what spoiler tags are for? thats what you should've done lol and it'll be more eps than that |
| You know, at first I really hated this filler. But now, I almost cried for Utakata. The last scene with Hotaru playing in that flower field an the whole rain of bubbles was very well made. |

Yes, that scene was his "last scene". Which usually is when the battle is over. Meaning he have been defeated in a battle by Pain. I understand and respect that they did not give any screentime of the battle because: Pain's battle is going to be against naruto, we don't want to figure out stuff which we are suppose to figure out in the properly battle. Battles takes a while to make, let them focus on drawing a good pain vs naruto battle instead of a battle in a filler. Since Pain killed Jiraya, we know that he is pretty hardcore, so it was not a suprise that he would be defeated easily by pain. A bubble user does not seem to be a sort of killing machine. |

| Lol that ending was so sudden..you think it was going to be "And they all lived happily ever after" type deal but then they just backstab you and say nope. Looking forward to what is to come regardless, Naruto and Bleach should be in manga material at the same time which is awesome. |

| Whats with the screwed up point rating and spoilers in the first post amagai? If you can't make a correct episode discussion topic then don't. Second half of the episode was decent felt sorry for the 6 tails when he got taken down by pain, but I'm glad it's over and is going back to the main story. |

| This episode was good, Naruto's Rasengan was sweet. It felt a bit rushed though, we could have seen an epic battle between Pein and Bubble boy but whatever, we're back on track now. :D |
| Wow, Im surprised at how short that filler arc was. Well, for Naruto it was a short one. Anyway, Im sure not much is gonna happen in the next few eps since its just gonna be mourning over Jiraya, but at leased its part of the main story. |

| I'm glad that the filler ended and we are going back to actual canon story... But, hell, I'm the only one who's actually sad because of Utakata's end? :< At least his death was pretty decent, because lame filler!villians are lame, and everything else seemed so rushed. Well, it's good thing that they didn't keep going with fillers for X more months, and I really want to see manga bitchfights on screen ;D |

Because we already know in the anime Naruto is going to fight Pain. 1: Jiraya fought him, which is Narutos sensei, what would you think, when Naruto finds out "Jiraya got killed by pain, and I am just gonna let somebody else take care of him, I have no regrets!". 2: If you pay attention to what Madara Uchiha says, he also point out their fight. |
