| peak episode but talk no jitsu bro. i swear regulus could have killed both emila and subaru or at least sub before the plan was carried out. reinhard was on his way back and from what I recall regulus didn't take much talk back last season. you said something he would wave his hand and you were erased. just seems weird to me and did suburu gain an ability or something? how is he able to dodge his attacks? ngl I'm further in the anime then the LN but I feel like subaru should have died at least once in this fight. there would have been more stakes if he did like how s1 and 2 was. i mean seriously, he didn't die once... so maybe not peak episode after all, good animation tho! |

| @casual42 ohhh the April Fool's Day/Subaru Birthday ... side-story series... kinda like Marvel's 'What if...?' comics series??? yeah, ever since Beetlejuice and his 'bad touch, bad touch, even badder touch, ok there aren't any more adjectives out there for all these bad touchings!' came out in the anime i've been puzzling these Authorities and blablabla out in my head. i initially thought the author just outright stole Accelerator's Vector Control and used it word for word. buuut then i figured even he would get his pantaloons sued off, Kadokawa and everybody else would circle up the lawyers and there'd be an intellectual property war yaddayadda. even after watching the explanation scenes three times in a row each episode for CottonSwab here? i still don't get how he can yoink water around with a big boulder shape and it not just go 'sploosh' or merely get his hands damp or not when he shoves em into the canal or whatever. the invulnerability part i do get. author just stole that one from Germanic witches in Europe during the pre-pre-pre Roman era. the ladies as part of their deal with Santa blablabla would remove their own hearts and hide em away somewheres nobody could find em, especially Santa. squishy heart, dead witch, no squishy heart... immortal witch who can't be killed and never ages. that's why Emi saw ol CottonSwab at the exact same age he is now when she was a wee-wee widdle cutiepie before the big elven popsicle incident. but the rest of his Authority? i don't get it, author's stumped me again, lil stinker... he keeps doing that with this show. i mean i do remember Subaru looking through Emi's memories (even the ones Puck had sealed previous to his gem gettin crunched) in that Temple with what's her face the Greedy Witch that wants to steal all of Subaru's neat new Earth ideas and memories etc. so Susu SHOULD remember CottonSwab from back then right? so that immortality bit WOULD pop into his head somehow! hell i'm still trying to figure out the Witch's Books or Gospels and how they're flawed copies of something or whatever and how none of the archbishops other than Beetlejuice seem to be consulting theirs, especially for THESE fights... also, did CottonSwab claim Beetlejuice was ALSO a Greed Archbishop in this episode when Susu talked about killing Mr. Handsy? or were the subs faulty in the ep i watched? his wordy diatribes would make ANY translator go 'eeeeeek! i quit!' and the subtitler's typesetting skills would be destroyed. he's a fun one to listen to/read but seriously, hack the fat out! that's just TOO many lines! |

| What an end for Regulus. That looked far more painful than Geuse's which says a lot (used as a training doll by Julius, burnt alive and blown up).. Also a nice bit of irony knowing that a witch's body lies underneath the city. My favourite moment wasSubaru using his witch factor of sloth and calling it by it's original name. This moment was the cherry on the revenge sundae that was served up today. |

before - yes, but then after that he was continuously falling inside the pit when he had to resume his heart and at that moment the impact broke all of his bones. It must have been fatal and yet he somehow survived and even tried to relocate his bones. That should not being possible. Forget about moving, his skull should be broken to the pulp or at the very least his heart should have being pierced by his ribs after the impact. There is no way he could have breathed too.
What I'm alluding to is that there is absolutely no way he survived the impart outside of him being superhuman even without the authority. And even then it's a no-chance of survival in that state.

Please remember that this a fantasy, "Possible or not possible" can't be decided by our standards, i can sit here all day with you and make up excuses why i think it shouldn't have been fatal, like the first freeze lowering the damage and he just being pushed by the mere force of movement, and not Reinhardt's kick. He's not superhuman, he didn't age due to his authority's power, he froze himself in time. Then again, every normal human will call that superhuman. |

| Geuse strikes back from the grave, lezz go!! Subaru locking in for Invisible Providence was awesome. Also, why tf dd they animate Liliana's backstory(even extended it) but basically skipped Regulus'? Words can't express how much of a serious violation of his rights this is. Honestly, a giant L. I can do with skipping some of Subaru's parkour but seeing Regu's backstory would have been better. Emilia going all Jojo on Regulus was very satisfying so there's that at least. |
