I do think they were in a hurry, as I mean the way most of Lye’s fight got speedrunned, just so they can arrive at a certain point… Rui’s appearance, to be specific, kinda tells you they were left with no choice, as I mean covering a good part of fight plus giving the aftermath of pretty much EVERYTHING that happened in the last 15 episodes, in a just a single episode is way too much of a tall task. Though hey, at least they didn’t left out the part where Felt couldn’t be devoured… because hey, even she doesn’t know her actual name xD Them somehow managing to catch Sirius wasn’t really something that should’ve happened.. I mean she must've escaped lol like her fellow archbishops. Btw, if it means getting any sort of information out of her, which seems highly unlikely to happen, they must have kept her, though that in itself isn't an easy task... pretty much evident in that 2 mins meeting of her with Subaru and co. Anyway, I'm still content with how they went with this episode. Now yeah, this season was way too packed, in the sense that you had something going on in every other episode. Though you know, the thing I’ve always liked about this series is the amount of grief and suffering Subaru goes through… however stupid and funny this may sound. You had plenty of that in the first season, and then in the second season as well. It’s fairly understandable that Subaru will learn to use his powers better as we go forward, which he had in this season, to some extent, but yeah, it takes away what made the first two seasons better for me. Did enjoy the last six months with this one either way, but yeah, it ranks below the first two seasons for me. Though you just know things can never be all sunshine and rainbows in this series. They love to finish things off on a cliffhanger... the kind which can lead even a senile old man taking it easy on a bed to fucking scream… … I mean they made a new version of “Who is Rem?”... “WHO IS JULIUS?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!??!?!”. Holy fuck! Need a fourth season... soon after this. |

Well, opening up the episode with this prick Rye eating three people certainly was a way to start the episode. But yeah, if this fight was to show anything, is that you should NEVER miss with my boy Otto. He's got people ready to come and protect him, strong people that is ofc, because as if it wasn't enough with Beako pulling up at the end of last episode, this episode we got Felt pulling up as well. But yeah, Rye has some interesting people helping him as well.. if you could even call that helping with that crazy blonde chick... that was first a guy coming to his rescue. Though, she wasn't even there for long, so okay lol because it's official now, PRISTELLA HAS WON, as announced by Kiritaka. So ofc, everyone starts to huddle back up. Been a minute since we've seen these guys together thanks to that break lol. That hug Subaru gave Beako when he first saw her was super wholesome. And on top of already winning, they also captured themselves an Archbishop along with the victory... everyone's favorite crazy waifu, Sirius.... And yeah, I think for the safety of everyone's ears, she should try to uh, not sing from now on lol. Hopefully with Reinhard and Felt taking her away they can make sure of that. But yeah, just the usual aftermath shenanigans after that, until the conclusion of the season, that being the most EVILEST cliffhanger ever, with it being told to us that Julius has gotten that Rem treatment and is now forgotten by everybody... except Subaru again ofc lol. Man, and couple in the fact that Liliana's song happy ass song is playing at the same time as this revelation... jeez xD All in all, it was nice to have more Re:Zero, always is, and although people are helming this as "the worst Re:Zero season", I personally still think that title goes to Season 2 Part 1, but it's not like this season is better by much either lol. We've still yet to reach the hype and greatness of season one, and from what I've been hearing, the next arc is as close as we get to reaching it... so count me excited for that... whenever it decides to drop, hopefully not a another three year wait lols. |

White Fox thank you for giving us the best season of Re:Zero yet. I have zero idea how anyone could even debate this not being the best the story has been at combined with the vastly improved production values. That said, this was a little weak for a finale for me. Seeing Beako and Felt taking on Lye and beating him, knocking that annoying ass smirk off his face was so satisfying, but of course it wouldn’t be that easy. It’s one thing to take on the standard sin archbishops, but when there’s multiple versions of one that’s just unfair! Smart move by Beako to let Rui retreat and prioritise healing the wounded. Keeping Wrath as a prisoner is a massive W for Lugunica. Should be able to get some valuable information from her and learn more about the cult. Interesting that she sees Gluttony as the biggest danger to Subaru right now. AL continues to be sus as hell, how did he get that crystal.. just what is he planning 🤔 he’s hiding a lot under that helmet. The battle for Pristella is won, but at what cost. So many innocent people killed or deformed by Capella, injuries, destroyed infrastructure and of course those whose existence were consumed by Gluttony, BUT if there’s any positive to come from this it’s that a city held out against FOUR sin archbishops. Can’t overstate how crazy that is and how much confidence that’ll give Subaru and his group going forward. They can win this thing. Julius fuck 😭 feel awful for bro, but this is gonna be the start of an amazing relationship with he and Subaru now that Subaru’s all he got. I don’t mind the cliffhanger ending because season 4 is in production and sure to come soon, we thought for a while this season would be like 30+ episodes so I’m sure we’ll get the next arc starting very soon. Teaser just dropped. I was very happy with the season overall, but feels like this finale was rushed. Could’ve done with another episode or two likely to show more of the immediate aftermath of Julius not being recognized by everyone, Garf and his mom, Mimi and Garf, the aftermath of the Theresia fight.. But we move, they cooked with the hype moments and did the arc justice overall. |

banger final episode for re zero 10 out of 10 for this season white fox did an amazing job hopefully we get the continuation soon Some LN Extra Details (Volume 20, Chapter 1.3-1.5 & 6 ) - Beatrice has seven crystal for use and plan to keep one to keep her awake so that she would not be a burden. - The method Beatrice use to get mana from the crystal is a taboo technique and very inefficient. She would forcefully extract the mana from the crystal and it would be like needing 1000MP to use a 10MP spell to put it in gaming term. - Otto uses Wind magic behind Lye as a distraction before Beako uses Ul Minya, similar to what he did to Garfiel and Elsa for distraction. - Beako remembers that Subaru always say that celebrating too early is a sign of a failed plan. - Beako said to Felt that the staff is used to bully a certain dragon, even though she only heard that from the first generation Roswaal, so she wasn't sure if it was true. She remembers her mother when she saw that metia, which probably originally belongs to Echidna. - Subaru thought Beako was the one that destroyed the building as a joke gag. - When Subaru is asking Anastasia regarding others, he has resolved to go through all that again if he had lost any of the royal candidates and knights even though he did not like the option, considering on what he experienced in the Sanctuary. - Emilia notes on possible love triangle happening between Garfiel, Mimi and Ram. Subaru is surprised that she can easily talk about other people's love lives - After Wrath's interrogation, Subaru has a one on one conversation with Wilhelm, after seeing him alone with a melancholic aura - Subaru said to Wilhelm on how he respects him from the bottom of his heart and there is nothing wrong in wanting to give his wife a proper burial and memorial service. He also would like to pay a proper respect to his wife's grave. Wilhelm soften up after hearing all that and would love Subaru come when that time comes. He also thanked Subaru for everything up until now. - Subaru was glad that Wilhelm has a final closure with his wife. Before Subaru left, Wilhelm want to ask him something, but end not up asking it. After he left, Wilhelm is whispering quietly, muttering something weird "If you would, please, my—". I'm not sure how to intepret this as this could have many meanings. He thought that is a unspoken word that none should hear and should not be spoken by the Sword Devil. Differences from LN - The Liliana singing to the public happened when Subaru arrived and met Beako and Anastasia - Anastasia's hair color was green when Subaru met Anastasia. She probably wear the green hair wig again at that time. - Julius at first left the area when Subaru notices him, but Subaru chases him until he stops after cornering into an empty alley. Beatrice was also there as well during that moment. This happened after the interrogation and the Wilhelm conversation. |

Glad they didn't drag out this fight too much. Fitting it ends this season on a battle against Gluttony. Tbh, this season had a lot of emotional impact on all the cast especially Subaru. Now we got a cliffhanger with Julius which should set up for the next season. It hasn't been announced yet so maybe the event in May? Hell of a season this turned out to be, definitely one of the better ones imo. Edit: season 4 did get announced |

Beatrice vs. Lye proves to be yet another big battle against the real Sin Archbishop of Gluttony, though it did take 5 magic crystals not to defeat him, but to reveal the TRUE Gluttony: the young girl of Rui Arneb, the only Sin Archbishop to be left alive and on the run. Both Subaru and Emilia being happy to see Beatrice again as Anastasia declares the fight won, though not without casualties. Priscilla having captured Capella for Subaru, Emilia and Beatrice to interrogate her, and she proves more of a freak than a threat. Still, with what they have, restoring what's left of the broken city of Priestella, after much of the terror, everything is back to normal. Julius taking Subaru's heart captive lol, I sure did not expect that... Another Re:Zero season in the docks, and to cap yet another tremendous season. |

Damn poor Otto, that was horrifying. So gluttony couldn't get Felt cause that ain't her birth name, now that's interesting. I'm also curious to know more about her background. Gluttony showed her real form and wow she's voiced by Koko chan of all people, that's a first for her but she did great. Leaving Sirius alive would only bring them more trouble but interesting how she said gluttony will come for him, the 3 of them. Also man does Al give off a familiar feeling. He feels like Subaru at times, maybe from a failed timeline or something cause the way he looked at Emilia and even Beako, had a sad feeling to it. Like he was watching an old friend after a long time. And that's it, they got back the city. It was nice seeing most of them recovering. Garf's looking better already and my lil girl's also fine, Mimi's back. Missed her. Liliana with another tongue bite lol. And ofc they end the season with that scene. Was wondering where Julius was, so that's what was up. Glad we got confirmation for new season. https://x.com/Rezero_official/status/1904910966174757223?t=jK2uBJEcjH05Lt40pqwBmw&s=19 Fantastic season again, I really enjoyed this. S3 season finale ended almost like S2 season finale with Beako and the whole gang celebrating their monumental victory lol! This hard-earned victory doesn't feel that great. I share Felt's sentiment about it. The city of Priestella is successfully re-captured, the most 'invincible' of all the Sin Archbishops, Regulus, is killed, and Sirius is captured, but Capella managed to ran off scot-free after transforming many of the citizens into hideous creatures as well as the Sin Archbishop of Gluttony, though I guess Lye and Roy were defeated, though still Rui got away. Really the only positive is that the Sin Archbishops didn't complete their final objective but damn did they dealt catastrophic damage to the city infrastructure as well as the citizens. We can't forget Crusch, who lost her memories, as well as Juliu,s who lost his identity from his acquaintances, all except from Subaru. I swear the Kingdom has to see this incident as both a tragedy and a gargantuan feat in public serivce, this incident is a kind of proving ground since we got all the royal candidates here contributing and working alongside each other against a surprise invasion from the Witch Cult without any external support from the Kingdom's knights. We even got the proud Prisiclla to see Emilia in a positive light for once. The royal candidates' relationship has massively improved from their introduction in S1. Above all else, my GOAT Subaru needed to be commended officially on top of his already vastly exceptional portfolio of achievements and fame. Bro got the trust and admiration of a whole city, his acquaintances and rivals. By extent of Emilia Camp's members, they've also embedded themself as a de-facto internal influencer, with some having close ties to other members in the other camps. All in all, the whole group did a terrific job this arc but also paid some terrifying price to bear... There is no denying it: ReZero S3 is a VERY different arc compared to the first 2. For one, Subaru himself only used RBD in the beginning before being reminded that he has people to help and be helped by and that his life is precious. However, I personally feel that S3 needed that 2-cour 24-episode-long season instead of the 16 we got.. Or maybe broken into two 12-episodes parts like S2 did. Though we sorta got that between the 8th episode and the counterattack arc with episode 9 and above. Regardless, even if we took into account the fact that the 1st ep is 2 hours long, and that many of the eps sacrifice the appearance of the OP or ED or both as well as the fact that some episodes are even 30-minutes long, that would probably put the total content run-time of S3 to around 20 episodes long. Still, I wished for more! For that reason, I'm so fucking glad S4 is announced! Imagine seeing that cliffhanger with Julius without any confirmation about any upcoming sequel. I'd rather wait for years with a promise of a sequel than without. S3 has been a blast! truly is. Re: Zero Wednesday has always been a big highlight of the week for me for the past 6 months. I know from the 1st episode leak that S3 will be different from the earlier seasons. There were many flaws, and this season does feel rushed on many points, but I have thoroughly enjoyed this season in all its glory. See you in S4! |

The MOST OVERRATED RE:ZERO season till now. I love Re:Zero, massive Re:Zero fan but this season DID NOT felt the same RE:ZERO I experienced for 2 seasons. I'll tell you why, I have my reasons. Valid Reasons tbh. And It's with Comparison from the last 2 season, I will not compare it with any other show. It's because of the Shift in Tone of the show From a psychological slow burn mystery thriller, building anticipation for something big almost entire seasons. Being a Dialogue Heavy, Character driven story for 2 seasons with Decent amount of Fights, perfectly woven with the story, acts as an amazing Payoff. Every time it felt Rewarding to uncover something new about the Story. I DO Understand, this WAS SUPPOSED to be a PAYOFF arc, where Invincible finally Meets Conquest n Boom!!! Heroes meets Villains, Stakes are High, shit takes place in a Large Scale & It's Time to Showcase the Character Development our MC was undergoing for 2 whole seasons. BUT the Sudden change in theme, to more Battle Heavy (I understand still), return of A Lot of characters & "3 Sin Archbishops" OMFG, they wer Barely shown in the first 2 season and Suddenly this level of Elevation in Threat?!! This season Focus on A LOT, I mean LOT of stuff BUT even with supposedly "High Stakes" it didn't feel "High Stakes" until the last few eps. Which it Conveyed in almost entire season 1 and the 2nd half of season 2. Apart from the shift in Tone of the show, Some other things that were disappointing to me. Firstly, Regulus. The way he was portrayed in the show, was Not Scary from any angle. The way he and Gluttony were Shown as, a big threat from the starting episode of season 2. The Execution didn't really elevate the Threat. He didn't Feel like a Threat, but an Annoying Brat, who he is btw, but he was more cringe than a threat. Holy, Betelguese gave me more chills than Regulus. Echidna's presence during the trials was scary. The fight with Reinhardt was a let down. Secondly, Liliana, very annoying character from the start. Tbh the first character I hated in Re:Zero. Thirdly, The Fights were disappointing. I mean there were Cool Moments, but majority of the Fights, untill the end of 2nd core, all were a let down with all the dialogues and cuts, the last few fights were done neatly yet Could've been Executed better instead of Dragging it the entire Season. They tried to focus on Every characters Every episode bit by bit, which made each fight felt dragged too long. Look at the White Whale fight, even if it was Long, it didn't lose the momentum, it will be one of THE BEST Fight scene of Re:Zero, yet.....still, I think th last few fights of this arc was Fantastic. They did Garfiel Justice. Also wanna talk about some Things I loved about this season. Firstly, the Animation department did an amazing Job from their side, especially from the COVID affected season 2, it was a Big upgrade in Quality. It's small but the New designs look BEAUTIFUL. Secondly, Sirius, Garfiel and Priscilla , amazing Characters. The way they were Portrayed in the show they were amazing, building tension, Garfiel's past, his overcoming of something that Has haunted him since the end of s2. The fights omg, in each scene, they steal the moment. They really shine. Their Voice acting was Tremendous, especially with these 3 characters. Amazing work on building up the characters. HIGHLIGHTS OF THE SEASON. Regulus should've got this treatment, but unfortunately ended up being a disappointment for me. Thirdly, Subaru. Loved him. Always have. His character build-up from season 1 & 2 payed off well enough in season 3. His intelligence, physical strength, willpower and Leadership. He was INVINCIBLE this season. His speech brought me tears, although he was Cringe, I just love this character. Yet I can't deny, he was very Annoying too, especially shit talking between Fights, I really mean *Shit talking*. Stop it pls Subaru. And Lastly, The Music. I liked the music of this season. The osts during the battle scenes were Amazing. Although wasn't a big fan of the songs. Season 2 had the most consistent quality in music, each song of season 2 is still a better one. Now, I don't find this season to be "Bad" but the way it alters itself to more Battle Focused rather than the Re:Zero I'm used to, with comparatively Little mystery uncovered than the last season, which Was a TREAT to those More into the Lore of Re:Zero btw. It was just a decent season for me, not bad but not Tremendously good either. It does expand the story, but loses the momentum on it's way. S1-9/10 S2-9.5/10 S3-7.5-8/10 And With all the hype around and Rumors that arc 6 will gonna get included, but didn't, it was another disappointment. But I'm glad, next arc is getting it's own dedicated season. And with Rem Next season, my hopes are High up in the Sky. Really excited for the next season. Feel free to Disagree in my opinion, but I just had to let it all out. Cuz I am kinda disappointed from something that's dear to me. |

Season and a half, this! Just finished watching the Petit and hoped to get some more clarification on Julius's state but of course they weren't going to spill the beans there. And as if to make it even worse, the teaser for next season completely stayed from it. Jokes aside, hot milk and cold milk? I love the goofiness of it, they knew we've been waiting and decided to take the opportunity and throw a curveball, which I completely respect. Anyways, on to the meaty chunk of the episode - I thought they'd find a way to take out the Glutton sin archbishop to make it three for the arc but too bad, Rem and Julius now will have to struggle for a bit longer. It's evil that they'd the chill insert ost playing in the background which perfectly fit until Subaru called out Julius, and then it just turned creepy. I mean, that's also part of why I love this series so much but man, you really can never predict what's going to happen in this story. Subaru's got Petelgeuse soul integrated into him? I suppose it went more than just using his abilities then and cleared up Romanee Conti's sudden change. We did see something of Greed's entering Subaru or something if I'm remembering correctly, it'll be too Op if he can make use of his abilities too... Liliana's "I will just have to die" got me, I never really understood the girl's thought process and I'm even more clueless now, lmao. At least she's gotten Priscilla-sama's approval so in turn Emilia's stature's got potential for better. Otto's injury looked so freaky with the white shins just exposed like that but Glutton's change in persona or whatever caught me eye. Romanee Conti suggested something along those lines too, I wonder what's the real deal there. Howl of Counterattack main theme and Speech of the Evil will finally be out! Both have been such a banger this season. Solid 9/10! I won't say it was quite at the level of S1 yet (which imo is the best the series has had to offer animated so far) but if this is any signs for better things to come in the revered Arc 6, I'm definitely excited as heck! Here's to hoping for 2 cours and not too much waiting time in between. |

with this last episode, re:zero is saying, "oh. you thought y'all won. y'all lost more than you realize. this ain't a happy ending, what show did ya'll think you were watching?" in essence, the battle of priestella ended as more of a draw. both sides sustained heavy injuries/losses, it's just that one side doesn't remember them all. I loved most things this season had to offer. the only thing that bothers me is how much shorter in terms of runtime this season was. White Fox did a banger job this season; I know that all those fight scenes must have been hell to work on, but y'all absolutely delivered. Thank you. |

Even with the crew winning the battle and taking back the city, it doesn't feel like a victory. Just goes to show how impactful the Sin Archbishops are at disrupting this world's order I'm very satisfied with the anime adaptation of this arc, it's mostly battles so reading this arc is way less enjoyable rather than watching it happen. |

Been a while since we seen Beatrice go all out. Nice setup for the last of the gluttony's to show up in the flesh. Mimi's giving no meaning to the word domination lol. Impressive that they managed to capture a archbishop. Still her words and its implications sure were disturbing. Transporting wrath though is another can of worms. Though it would take time to rebuild the city at least they managed to secure the city and its people. Though at great cost for some though. Overall a solid finale that managed to end the season by tying up all the plot points and ending it in the perfect position for the next season. |

Oh man... Beatrice vs Gluttony was fun. But the outcome was awful. Otto's flesh being ripped out so you could see the bones was terrifying. Thankfully, he lives in a world where even if limbs get brutally detached, they can be healed. He's really lucky. They're lucky just to have survived. Finally, we got the debut of Rui Arneb in the anime! She's voiced by Konomi Kohara, who voices Chika Fujiwara in Kaguya-sama: Love is War. It's funny cause we also have Kaguya's VA Aoi Koga, who voices Sylphy lol. Oh yeah, Kohara also voices Roxy in Mushoku Tensei. So that's interesting. Sirius's "singing" is absolutely abhorrent. Listening to it is basically torture. It felt so peaceful for a second there. Liliana's song with everyone being happy of finally being free from the Witch Cult. But all this time, Julius was alone because no one remembered him. He's the latest victim of Gluttony. Subaru was the first guy to recognize him, and it made him shed tears. Such a shitty situation to be in. It's probably worse than just being in a coma cause at least you'll be sleeping peacefully. I feel so bad for the guy. The scene was so tense, with upbeat music in the background. The anime is especially cruel for that lol. The way Subaru's smile turned into a frown. It was brutal. What a way to end the season. It's Season 1 Director's Cut all over again. Of course, they wouldn't just end it like that for no reason. Season 3 Part 2, which has now been rebranded to Season 4, was just announced after the episode finished airing. And I couldn't be happier! Final weekly art from character designer Haruka Sagawa. Thank You art for Season 3. |

So I'll start by quickly talking about the episode then season then comparing it to the other 2 seasons. Firstly this episode served as a good wrap up to season 3, All of gluttony seems to have gotten away and also Lust escaped. The reveal of the third member of gluttony wasn't surprising because I got spoiled a while back but regardless I still found it to be very cool regardless. I didn't find wrath being alive surprising either since her final moments just didn't feel like enough to kill her. So to sum up Wrath, Lust and 3 of gluttony are alive and the rest of the archbishops are dead. I thought the final moments of the episode were a funny call back to the start of season 2. The only difference is with Rem it felt more unsettling and scary but if im being honest with Julius it just felt goofy. Now to talk about the season as a whole I think like the other 2 it was amazing and completely unique from the rest. I think a massive charm of Re zero is that every season has a very different feeling to it and season 3 kept that trend up. This season was heavily leaning on the Shonen side of things but also served to bring together various characters and plot points and give us well needed development for characters of making certain characters have a opportunity to shine such as priscilla. In fact Priscilla is now my second favourite character because of this season 3 seasons later and not being in 2 of them but Rem still holds the place as my favourite you can say im bland I couldn't care less. I think compared to the first 2 seasons this season again had its unique charm like every other. Personally I think this was actually the worst season of the 3 but in no way was this bad I just think the other 2 were far more interesting. So hopefully season 4 can break that cycle. and to rate all 3 Season 1 - 9.5 Season 2 - 8.7 Season 3 - 8.2 Re zero still firmly holds its place as my second favourite Isekai but doesn't come close to Tensura still. |

it was peak, sad that a lot of content was cut out from the LN, but they managed to still make it feel like a complete experience for anime only's, nowhere would you question if things were missing or if something didnt make sense, they managed to make it all feel complete and coherent, i can't wait for season 4, if they keep adapting it well it could be the best season of re zero so far |

Just when it seems like alls well that ends well, we have those very unsettling final seconds where it turns out Julius has been forgotten by everyone except Subaru it seems. Right away a new problem has come up. What a great season this was, and I’m happy season 4 is already confirmed. Can’t wait for more peak in the future. |
People on MAL refuse to actually enjoy watching anime. Your taste in anime isn't a personality trait. MAL is literally just anime Twitter as its own website lol. |
