Surprisingly I find that in the end, all this show brings to concrete results, what a find.
Narrative that manages to give a little pearl of sweetness, this really unexpected.
Overall, the plot shows that had the goals clearly defined and not turned empty around the main characters, without arriving at a stalemate.
Drawings and animations as always excellent quality, sin missing only one episode.
I liked how they connected just about every part of it together, shame they didn't work this before, it would be pure marvel.
Mio's ruuning and subsequent series of miracles was very enjoyable to watch. And the lottery was pretty heartwarming part. I also liked how Tachibana was flustered all the time, and how wonders of life put together two very unlikely people.
I can see why Mio's sad after the Sasahara incident, but it's like Yukko said, Tachibana and Sashara aren't a thing yet. You still have a chance, in one more episode...
That chase scene was better than any chase in Hollywood Movies.
Random shadow punch in the middle of the sidewalk during rush hour? Check
Give a ride to elder woman then throw her off? Check
Run between two trains? Check
Do a leapfrog? Check
CHAN-MIO? Check
Thank you Mio for basically summing up everything a wanted to comment on that chase which was everything I intended to post really ^^
Heart warming ending.
This had to have been one of my favorite episodes.
The Nakamura visit to the professor house was one of the funniest scenes. Seeing her freak out over all the weird innocent things Professor made and see them as danger was too good. Nakamura is so cute. It was a great blend of character interactions that I hadn't expected to see.
The first Sasahara x Misato scene had a line I greatly appreciated. "Glasses feel no pain when they're broken, but cutting your hand hurts". What a beautiful way to look at it. That and the 'my glasses are for show' line got me.
I had been thinking about what Nichijou's goal is as an anime. I had determined it was something about appreciating the little moments in life but that didn't sit quite right with me. Instead, the line Mio gave after laughing at her own insanity was the perfect description.
"Things really are unpredictable. It's just like you said, Yukko. it's unpredictable... that's why it's fun."
As on the nose as this seems, I'm glad it was said. I couldn't quite place what Nichijou was about. I knew I liked it but it was difficult to speak about it on those terms. But, now I'm confident. Nichijou is about laughing at the unpredictable nature of life. Life is random and that's what makes it fun. Whether its the fact your hair grows as weird as mohawk guy, or you saw the principle fight a deer, or as simple as getting bitten by a dog or pressing a pen in on the wrong side. Nichijou is about embracing those moments because those are what life is about... or so it is to me. "Our everyday lives are in fact a series of miracles"! Taking this as a line to live by may make life a much more positive experience, I think I'll hold it close.
I remember hearing that the last two episodes of nichijou were animal original. I don't recall if that's accurate or not, but this episodes flow and jokes and meaning were some of the best yet, and I think Nichijou would be so much better if it was made consistently like this. If episode 26 is in similar fashion I think we're in for a good finale.
The voucher to a life long friendship was adorable.
Aww the friendship voucher was so heartwarming. Since I don't have such amazing friends as Mio, I have always wanted to treat my friends and other people kindly so that they can feel good about their lives and perhaps one day they will realize my good intentions. People deserve a better life than this, and if no one wants to cheer other people up when they're in hard times, I will be the one ^^
i love this ep so much - one of my favourites!! when yukko was chasing mio it turned from mio-chan to chan-mio i literally died idk why i found that so funny lol
mio was so precious this ep and all her friends helping her out was so adorable. mai’s carved statue and yukko always being there for me. ah the last scene was so beautiful - sad it’s coming to an end );
CHAN-MIO!
In the end, I only used the glasses just because xD
Seriously this episode has been great, the whole scene of Mio running hahahaha, the whole scene I've been laughing.
Very good.
Nakamura-sensei already found out about Nano xd
And the final scene of the girls handing Mio the award, it was really nice.
Well, the following is the last episode.
"Voucher to stay friends for all eternity" What a beautiful yet still comedic episode. Looking forward to the final episode, hope we do get a second season eventually.
