 Monogatari Series: Off & Monster Season (2024) Monogatari is back with a venegance. Including production hell showing in shaky release schedule, missing OPs to be added later (I hope) and incomplete coverage of the novel material. Shaft being Shaft. The stories and visuals, however, are up there with Bake and 2nd Season, instantly made my top 3 of the franchise, as did the Nademonogatari arc for arcs. In the MAL ranking lists the show is buried in the ONA section, so it was a bit overlooked. |

Continue watching Genshiken, or Genshiken 2, to be more precise.   I watched the first season last year in December and really liked it, so I decided to continue the series this year with its second season. Surprisingly, it got even better in my opinion. Currently, I'm on the third season, and I'm even considering it to become one of my favorite anime. It's pretty mundane and has a nostalgic feeling to it just watching a group of friends sharing similar hobbies and interests. 2025 started off strong for me. |

| I was watching the first episode of The Vision of Escaflowne with a friend of mine, who has celebrated the new year with me. I don't think we're ever going to continue watching it together, because he's rarely visiting me and he didn't seem to like it much. The first anime I'm watching on my own this year is Maison Ikkoku. |
