Mecha genre also used to be very popular and frequently used in anime back in the day, but at some point its popularity simply started to fade away until mecha became just a mere shadow of its former glory. Oversaturated market and trends have their limits, especially the former. Isekai genre might eventually reach such moment someday in the future and reach the status similar to mecha genre these days. |

Much like the video game crash of the 1980s, studios are just pumping out absolute chungslop garbage and the amount of anime to be excited for each season is becoming less and less, and its nearly null. Looks like free anime content is about to be eradicated from the internet so that will drastically lower the demand and number of fans. seems to me like the landscape of anime is changing with Japan's new AI systems to tackle piracy. When it impact the availability of free content, I think , it will deter new fans and discourage a lot of fans. So less fans watching anime means the war of words will decrease to minimum 📺 |
