| I'd recommend quitting by the time you're 99. By that age you probably have dementia so you'll end up just rewatching the same things because you can't remember then. Maybe get into gunpla at that point, because at least you'll have a physical representation of what you've accomplished with your hobby. |

| I feel before it got this popular you would get judged by most society's if you watched it and were older than maybe teen years, most people in my country will still judge you if you're in your 30's and still watch it. That said it could be interpreted as creepy if you get older and still watch shows with very young characters, but most shows are targeted towards younger audiences so you can't avoid that unless you only read seinen/josei demographic manga as most anime is shonen/shoujo. I know anime fans well in their 30's and 40's, some people loose interest or become less interested in their 20's but for others is a lifelong hobby. You do whatever feels right for yourself. |

| Why do some people think there needs to be an age limit on things like video games, anime, etc, as long as you are enjoying it there shouldn't be an age limit or an issue. I know because some people see it as immature to watch it when you are older but I don't think so. Should I just randomly stop enjoying my hobbies once I hit a certain age and just start reading the newspaper and watching only boring documentaries? I think I will pass on that. I am almost 40 and don't seem myself stopping anytime soon. |

| Super cringe (not your fault). There isn't any inherent age, IMO, and you shouldn't care what other people think. I know a lot of anime fans/critics/convention people that are in their 40s and older. |

Sure, they are short. But I really don't think when you are overworked, you would still have anime on your mind and its really not the priority anymore. You never know what will happen in the future and what you will need to worry about. Working, paying rents, taking care of kids etc would be much more important than watching anime. Its really the mindset that changes. |

| This kind of threads pisses me off. You ask me to suggest to you how you live your life, specially when it comes into consuming entertainment all in general. Putting restrictions on yourself because of age. Well, some things are silly to me that I don't wanna do them, because they don't fit my age. Anime is different. It's a kind of entertainment that can be enjoyed privately. At least not infront others. The nature and type of entertainment you indulge into, whatever is, you decide whether or not you wanna experience. Few days ago, my wife was annoying me to ride a zipline. Not that kind of dangerous ones over hills/mountains stuff. No, the kids version in an amusement area. I had no choice but to agree to ride it. The point is, I chose for myself what to consume or not. If you can't do that, if you insist on hearing others' suggestion, by all means, have at it whatever suits you well. I'm not gonna suggest you shit. |

| Anime, since 2016, with the rise of everyone having a smartphone and everyone basically having social media, is no longer considered an immature thing to like among us males. Now, I dont recommend for a male to talk about cartoons/comics to girls, since some girls (even the young ones) still view males over 15 that like cartoons as weirdos. |
