Started watching anime pretty late in life, in August of 2022. Better late than never, I guess.

My ratings are not separated by seasons, I always rate a show as a whole. That includes movies that are part of the franchise. Unless they're completely standalone, in that case, they receive a rating.

I also don't compare between genres, because they're just different species.
A 10 in romance is not directly comparable to a 10 in action genre, etc.

10 - Masterpiece, either perfect or almost perfect
9 - Great quality, made me emotionally invested
8 - Very good
7 - Liked it, enjoyable
6 - Overall I had a good time, but a lot of glaring flaws that can't be ignored
5 - Mediocre, I was probably bored a lot (but let's be honest, mediocrity is a form of "bad" too)
4 - (And lower) are shades of bad
