| A very interesting and intriguing story but I don't know why they put some fanservices... π Though, I don't dislike them. I finally get to see this trending series and at the last half of this episode, I get to see Mieruko-chan getting scared... π€£ At the moment, she is a likable character and her VA/CV fits her current description/personality. |
| It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it, is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service. |
| First episode was certainly an interesting idea, seeing horrors like that and trying to simply ignore them but the constant unnecessary perv garbage really ruined the immersion. How can I be properly creeped out when in the next shot the camera zooms on her butt? Are Japanese young people so pathetic that they need that every 30 seconds? |

| I honestly wasn't expecting much from the Mieruko-chan anime. I read some of the manga and it was not such an enjoyable read. It got tiring over time. However, the show delivered qualities that overcame my initial apathy. |
| In the beginning, in some parts I was actually a little nervous but as the episode went on it was really funny instead of scary. |

| Shows with something different have pretty good first episode but they're bound to become stale. Also the reason why aot,ds,jjk are popular because those shows can relate far more. Overall, good comedy but I'm sure will get nothing special in a few episodes. |

| so, this episode introducing that she suddenly gain the abilities to see ghost? I thought we started from her daily life that she already deal with it daily. well, if she want to do something about exorcism, why didn't she go to the shrine? she might getting help there. |

| I only started watching this because netflix said they were removing it on boxing day, and I had vaguely planned to start watching it at some point. Unfortunately I heard from some friends it's not that good, but I like the concept and what I had seen of the manga art, here's to hoping I enjoy it more than they did! |

| I see the claims of the anime upping the fanservice a bit seems to be true. Well, that's what I'd say, but after checking the first chapter again it's pretty accurate. I did remember the manga having maybe a bit more fanservice in the early chapters, and it's not like it's completely gone later on, but something about it in this ep just felt kinda lame. I dunno, not a huge deal, but I'll see how I feel after finishing it. The anime original build up, I get why they'd add it, but it was kinda between meh and eh for me. I like how the manga just starts off with the ghost without warning. Liked a bit of the cheeky foreshadowing there. Yuria/Julia scene was kinda cringe though. |

| Love what I'm seeing so far. Mieruko is so hot, love the different shots of her butt and thighs in this episode. Hope there's lots more! π€€π Pretty nice first episode. Definitely creeped me out a bit |

| Freaky episode! What else can she really do though besides not acknowledging them, especially since they don't know she can. Not sure about the inclusion of the fanservice shots, felt a bit unnecessary. |

I loved this, if this wasn’t a new seasonal show, I would definitely watch this for spooky month, because it’s perfect for it. And I’m glad to see a Passione anime that isn’t Higurashi Gou and Sotsu, tho I did enjoy those, and I gotta say I’m super into this one, the ghosts are freaky looking and we also have some nice fanservice, OP and ED were both great too. Potential favorite show of the season, and one of my favorites as of rn.
| @TheColonel76 You’re as beautiful as the day I lost you, so glad to be rewatching this masterpiece 4 years later, a rewatch should’ve happened way sooner but it didn’t for one reason or another, gonna fix that finally here in the spooky month of 2025. Not much to say that past me didn’t already say, but I will add that the show is so good at making the moments so damn tense when Miko is face to face with a ghost, the buildup to the first ghost is so well done too, and it only gets better from here. I also wanna comment on the fanservice, I remember it caused quite the stir back in Fall 2021, I also remember that it kinda dies down in the second half, but I don’t remember there being so much ass right here at the start lol, but I’m not complaining one bit, there are some very tasteful folks up there at Passione. And that OP and ED are incredibly nostalgic now, takes me right back to those Sunday nights when I watched it weekly, I miss those times greatly. |
