Yeah, but I'm not sure if we can consider Gotoubun as representing most cases that happen in anime, but it's more like a sore exception for most of its fanbase, who would rather see either M or N crosssing the finish line first. In regards of Kakkou, as you said, both have a different type of bond with Nagi, though it's still not clear what's in store for us readers yet. Erica's father is playing a 4d chess by himself, not to metion the whole "lost brother thing" that isn't quite clear to me too.

Hm, if you take that the whole Cuckoo thing is about a bird who lays its eggs on other's species nest and this very pup is able to throw all the other eggs aside and be raised by this other bird, I can assume only Erica suits the hint we can deduct from the name. Sachi was really born in the "right house", so she can't be a cuckoo itself. Anyway, I have the feeling the manga is close to its final stretch, so I gues it won't take long until we discover what's the big deal. Btw, do you think the anime adaptation will cover the entire series? Starting off with a 24 ep season isn't the usual thing for animes which are planned to have more than one season.

Indeed, I pretty much enjoyed the plot even with some setbacks along the way. This last arc though, I'm starting to fear what direction this whole train is headed to.

Yeah, Sachi had some chaps in which I really thought she was going to win him over for good, but I think the real Cinderella in the story is Sewaga, given how she's always the one who was supposed to have some good time with Nagi, but she keeps getting the short end of the stick every single time. Agreed, these past few chapters hint Erika will be the next chitoge, I mean, the whole story screamed Nisekoi vibes fromt he very start to me,so it wouldn't be a surprise if she really was the choosen one.

Uhum, Ai and Hiro are just espectators by now, or maybe they have always been since their introduction XD

I've actually watched to about 1/3 of Clannad s2, but I paused then.

And also I'm following the Key studio scheme this year according to seasons.
(like Kanon: winter, Clannad: spring)

I completed Kanon on 2/7(replay and rewatch), and I plan to play and watch Clannad on 3/1(continue from s2 episode1)

Tbh, I've already seen your profile every now and then here on MAL, I guess it was from a Forum of the ongoing mangas I'm reading. Btw, thanks for the heads-up on that introvert manga I can't quite recall the name rn hehe. It caught my eye right away when I've come across it and it's so nice that there are more translated chaps up to date.



Lol, Mami Nanami in this list was only for meme purposes, though she's been the mvp of Kanokari's story progression in this last arc. If it wasn't for her, we'd be probably stuck in a damn misunderstanding/oblivious arc. As for Kaga Kouko, I consider that she has one of the best character developments I've ever seen in SoL animes. In spite of having her issues within her subconscious, she was able to overcome her paranoid in order to show her love for Banri... What an amazing character!


At last but not least, based list of manga favs!

Eh, I had the reverse. I went into Nisekoi knowing Chitoge would win and Quintessential completely blind. That being said, I haven't actually gotten to complete quintessential since it was still being published when I picked it up, but I was spoiled the ending since then.


While I would have preferred Miku, everything about the manga (i read) gave me the impression it was Itsuki who was going to be the bride. She's the first character introduced to the main character, it was heavily implied Rena was Itsuki (or confirmed, idr). And compared to Yotsuba, Miku, Nino, Itsuki, and Ichika are seen with and interact with Fuutaro far more often.
And idk if Yotsuba was the girl from the (past)/photo, but I don't think that really qualifies as justification for her winning since it really could have been any of the five, like how any of the three from Nisekoi could have been the promised girl. I'm assuming she probably gets her arc last or so since she ends up winning, but I think she should have gotten more screen? / panel time if she was gonna win.


To summarize, there wasn't nearly as much chemistry between Fuutaro and Yotsuba vs any of the other sisters, or even compared to Raku & the three from Nisekoi for a majority of the manga. It doesn't destroy the manga or anything, but it's definitely disappointing imo since nothing before ch 90? or so indicated or foreshadowed a Yotsuba ending.

That's a good point. There's also some shows I scored but could barely remember what they were about, I just went by the general feeling I thought I had, so maybe it's a good idea to go back if I ever have the time. Your scoring system seems to be pretty good (talking about your average score). I think mine sits at 7s for the most part which I think is pretty all right lol.

You're right, actually. But I think because I don't know the name, I can't recognize it in the search, especially with such small images (not to mention if there are a ton of shows that pop up).

Oh no, seriously? Lol! I do that with songs, and it gets worse when it's a super generic line. XD I wonder how many shows actually have a transcript posted online?? Popular shows, maybe, but that's insane!

Oh heck yeah, that's happened. In fact, I'm sure most of the scores I gave shows years ago would probably not hit the same now... but I ain't going back to change it... but it is curious how that happens, and also how stewing with a show over time makes one feel more fond of it. I hope I expressed that right, lol. It's kinda nice having a site like this to archive that stuff cuz then you can review it and make observations of things, just like this.
