Real Mitsuya had another taxi but they both had the same destination Thanks for checking it out. Even I agree with you that it was only fake Mitsuya that he picked up on Oct 4th. "I had plastic surgery." This supports the theory even further. Odokawa probably picked up fake Mitsuya before she had a plastic surgery and didn't recognize her on Ep.5. This theory eliminates the contradiction - The incident happened on October 4th - Mitsuya was replaced after only a few days of her disappearance - Sakura was seen to not have even a bit of indication that she has undergone surgery - Mystery Kiss's concert was on Oct 16th if I'm not mistaken This should debunk the theory about Odokawa picking up a pre-surgery Sakura on Oct 4th because surgery takes weeks to fully heal. I would say Sakura had a plastic surgery of her own accord beforehand (like wayyy before the incident) to have a higher chance of being chosen as Mitsuya's substitute and is also the reason why she doesn't want to apply in other agencies, but this theory is totally reliant to her being the murderer, and this is just too much of obsession from Sakura. |

I think Kuroda was involved in murder of Odokawa parents and he is his secret benefactor that showed up and took him out of hospital, as their names can't be revealed. That's why he moved to Tokyo. He is wealthy enough, we don't know much about organization that took care of Odokawa etc. I'm still confused about cat girls, I thought he picked up real one on Oct 4th, then fake one and then when real one was shown dead on TV he said it's different (as in different from one he drove recently). And I thought Dobu saying he didn't have real one just lookalike in Taxi was just to distract Odokawa and make him forget he had real one so he would not spill any more info. I can't wait for next episode and all answers :O shame audio shows are not in english :( |

Since Donraku is Mitsuya's father I think that means the theory about gacha guy being adopted because different species (from his mother? I can't remember exactly) can be put to rest. And yes, no need to tell me how it also plays into the animal hallucination theory. Holy shit, did this episode really make me want the next one asap. I always feel that way, but it really rang true this time. |

There are only two episodes to go and a lot unanswered questions, but the one I want to know the most is: what the HELL was Shirokawa conveniently doing in the middle of nowhere? I'm kinda expecting they to just shove this coincidence under the rug and it won't detract that much from the overall experience, but it'll still be a bit disappointing since they are wrapping everything so neatly up to now. |

I feel like it was Odokawa that killed Mitsuya and then placed her in the office. We already know the guy can ask some pretty intrusive stuff very casually so maybe he asked where she was headed, or maybe he overheard the location of where she needed to go inside the office, hence how he placed her corpse so carefully. Or at least that's how I feel. In fact, I wouldn't even be surprised if turns out that Odokawa is a full blown serial killer with an alternate personality who uses the taxi as a way to lure people in. Another part that I feel like hints at Odokawa is that Mitsuya was choked to death after being hit on the head, you know who else just recently had a choking/drowning flashback? Odokawa did, when Yamamoto was trying to kill him in ep10. Maybe Odokawa isn't a serial killer, but Mitsuya said something that flipped Odokawa off, and when she left the car, he hit her on the head, choked her to death (similar to how he almost died once) and then placed her in the office. Just my wild theory though. I just feel like Odokawa has more than just the "animals as human" problem. Kinda feel like this show is kinda trying to mirror the story of the Scorsese movie "Taxi Driver" where the guy also had issues, but somehow ended up becoming a hero over night. |

@Judevin Odokawa is deff not ruled out in the list of possible culprit, but imo he's very unlikely to be it. Firstly, he despises criminals. He dislikes Dobu and his unjustly actions, he dislikes Big Daimon and his corruption, he dislikes Yamamoto and his desperation, and he's kinda debated with how to understand Shirakawa's position. Second, he would certainly not forget his victim. Third, he would not mention that he dropped off someone in the place of his crime if he was indeed the killer since that would only make him involved in the incident which he should really be avoiding. Fourth, he seems unbelievably calm while watching the news. His remark isn't even related to the crime but about how the dead Mitsuya is different from the Mitsuya that he drove with Yamamoto. Lastly, I consider Odokawa's fear of drowning or suffocation as a red herring to falsely accuse him of choking Mitsuya to death or to at least relate him in the incident, since my above statements have already pointed out how unlikely it is for Odokawa to be the murderer. Just my thoughts. |

Here's the thing though, we experience the story through Odokawa, what if he is an unreliable narrator? He almost drowned, there is a high chance that he just represses his terrible memories, which is why he doesn't remember committing murder. Then there's also the "split personality" idea that I mentioned earlier, maybe Odokawa has a split personality who is a serial killer, or maybe is his repressed part taking over. Think Hulk and Bruce Banner, or the Beast from movie Split. Which can explain why he doesn't react at all to Mitsuya's murder because he doesn't remember, it wasn't him. While I won't say you're wrong since I had the same line of thought, I would like to have that Odokawa is the murderer plot twist at the end just because it makes more unexpected story telling. So yeah, I'm definitely with you in your thoughts, I just want that other plot twist because something about Odokawa doesn't add up for me, also because it would be much more unexpected for an anime to have that kind of an ending. EDIT: Would be crazy if it turns out Odokawa's whole shtick of "I hate criminals" is just bs, and he actually wants Dobu and Yano gone because they took his video recording where Mitsuya was in his taxi, and he doesn't want anyone to know he committed the murder so now he's playing this long game to get rid of all of them. We only see the story that Odokawa wants us to see, which makes him even more unreliable as a narrator. Either way, I hope it makes for an exciting ending. Thanks for sharing your opinion though. |

Visual perception is one thing, but to alter the storyline would only create a lot of inconsistencies that will entirely ruin the buildup. But who knows? xd The first one was wrong lol sorry if you saw that |

This build up episode went by in a jiffy, but gave me enough knowledge of this storys universe to finally paint a ensemble ready for deliverance in the upcoming climax of the final episodes. Odokawa is finally established with these glimpses of his childhood self uncovered by doctor ape, revealing a double suicide that has left Odokawa into the seal he is today. I also want to see how the disappearance matures in the narrative over the climax, and if it is able to be solved. Kind Regards, JOMO |

suzuyakenn said: I would consider it THE most unique anime if that plot twist happens, but it's really just more of a "what if" scenario. I don't think it would ruin the plot, the little crumbs are all there for the plot twist, like you can see it coming if it does happen so I don't think it'll be disappointing whatsoever. Plot twists like these are why movies like Memento and Taxi Driver are considered classics, but I totally understand if they don't go through with it.Judevin said: suzuyakenn said: @Judevin Odokawa is deff not ruled out in the list of possible culprit, but imo he's very unlikely to be it. This infodump has been resolved pretty well. I'm very satisfied with it, as we now know how the past events unfolded and everything makes sense. What a smooth resolution, and outstandingly delivered (I'll consider an 8.5/10). Now we even know why is Odokawa so afraid of water. We know the secret about the relationship between Baba and Nikaido. It turns out that Big Daimon and Dobu were working together and thus BD may betray Yano as well. Mitsuya seemed to be an interesting girl. However, why did they have to dismember her? Was it really that necessary? Anyway, a couple of questions remain? Who killed the real Mitsuya, and why did he do it? What's the problem that Odokawa has, and who has his benefactor? But now it feels like the robbery plan has been forced into the story, kind of. Anyway, there are only two episodes remaining, so I'm eager to know how will this story end. If only Kirche... Yuki Mitsuya were here... |

The truth finally got revealed. What Yamamoto did is plain stupid. Why do a much more worse crime to cover up a crime you don't know shit about. Why go as far as dismembering the body. I get it that if they said the truth it would effect the groups' success or their boss would have beat the crap out of Yamamoto and the rest for not being able to protect Mitsuya since she's the daughter of the boss's friend. But if they were going to bring a Mitsuya lookalike and start over then they could've just made Sakura an official member and start over, there would've been fan disappointment but they would still be successful slowly. Their stupid deed is going to backfire them now that the dismembered body has been found. If Dobu found out that Yamamoto, Yano, Sekiguchi and Nikaido were behind this and made it public, then even the true excuse that Mitsuya was already killed by someone else wouldn't save them. They should've called the police and Nikaido could've made up a story and told the police that she called Mitsuya for something but when she arrived she found her dead. That way the police would investigate and they could've found the real killer. Anyway, it would be a twist if Shiho or Sakura turns out to be the real killer. I wonder what's written on the notebook. I guess the next episode we might get to know if that “theory” is right. |

So to sum up the "two truths and one lie" game, we already know the following: "I had plastic surgery." "I backbit other members on the Internet." Ichimura TRUE: "I have a sugar daddy.” "I'm using casting couches." "I murdered" Mitsuya FALSE: "I'm married" Nikaido TRUE: "I'm dating a comedian." Ichimura FALSE: "Incense sticks" Nikaido TRUE: "I abandoned a dead body" Please tell me if I missed anything here. Since Nikaido has two truths confirmed already, this means that "I murdered" is either third lie or one of the other two's truth. It being her third lie I find rather doubtful, she wouldn't put it here even as a joke since she is a potential suspect for murdering the original Mitsuya even though it wasn't really her. Since I see no reason to suspect Ichimura, I'd say it's 99% confirmed it was Sakura who murdered the real one. Also if I were to blindly guess I'd say the casting couches is Nikado's lie, backbiting is Ichimura's second truth (the small one), which gives us "I had a plastic surgery" and "I murdered" being Sakura's small and big truths respectively. |

Remember in an earlier episode, when Shiho said Nikaido would murder someone for her ambition ? I knew it was foreshadowing. She didn't murder Mitsuya but she would've and also hiding someone's dead body doesn't make you an angel either. The writing in this show is excellent, which is why I'm disappointed that the show didn't go for a more subtle way to reveal the mystery behind Mitsuya's disappearance, instead of thr straight forward exposition dump we got. |

Ah so that's why Oodokawa said it's not her. I wonder who killed the real Mitsuya. OMG! Many answer been revealed yet many questions to come. The real Yuki Mitsuya is dead. So i understand now why Odokawa said it's not her when he watched the news. Because in Episode 5, Yamamoto and fake Yuki Mitsuya aka Sakura Wadagaki got into the taxi and Odokawa saw her face without a mask. But the real question here i remember Sakura helping Tanaka to put the phone in Odokawa taxi, why would she helping Tanaka? I think there is some connection here, are Sakura want Tanaka to killed Odokawa because she is the one who killed the Real Yuki Mitsuya? I can't think any other motivation for her to helping Tanaka unless they are related somehow but considering we didn't see her in Tanaka past, i can't think anything else. Wow Donraku is Yuki Mitsuya father? Isn't his face on the Eraser that Tanaka wanted as a child? I kinda forgot is why Donraku is famous for. Gouriki continue his investigation about Odokawa past, so that's why we saw a flash image about Odokawa thinking about Drowning. Now we need to see what's in the Notebook. This writing is absolutely Amazing!!! |

Why would you throw a dismembered body right in front of your own base? Well... Nikaidou is many things but not a murderer, it seems. Wonder if the girl who came in fourth place in the Mystery Kiss audition was the one who killed the real Mitsuya Yuki. Now on a side note, this might sound kinda weird given the characters here are all animals but the real Mitsuya was indeed really pretty. |

Holy shit I was almost thinking Nikaido was the one who killed Yuki. But why didn't they report this to the police? Why did they have to dismember her body and throw it into the sea? Also, who was the 'Yuki' we've been seeing until now? This episode showed us so much! The Donraku guy who has a super rare eraser in his name (which Tanaka wanted to get) is a crime boss, the father of Yuki and the classmate of the boss of Dobu and Yano. The missing girl had been dead for quite a while. Also, I don't understand why the new 'Yuki Mitsuya' placed a phone in Odokawa's taxi when she was on it. Well, hear me out...if Yuki was a cat then how can her gangsta dad have been a monkey?? Does this basically confirm that Odokawa sees other people as animals?? Baba sure became cocky after getting some success. Are we gonna get Odokawa's backstory from the diary from Goriki's perspective? |

Daaamn. Who knew that the missing Nerima girl is a member of the idol mystery kiss group? Absolute shocker. Nikaido happens to stumble upon Yuki Mitsuya's corpse on the night of her death. Sheeesh. I wonder what was the cause of Mitsuya's death. And who did it. Time to dispose of the body. So that's how Yamamoto got in contact with Yano and his goon. It all makes sense now. Now Nikaido is a by product of the crime of disposing the body into the water. Her fate is looking bleak if Mitsuya's body is discovered. Honestly, Mystery kiss done fucked up. |

This episode was like 5 minutes long!!! I wish there was more than 13 episodes. So far, this has been a real delight and I don't want it to end. Props to those who watched it on a weekly basis rather than binging it like I basically did. Sooo, the girl in the taxi was a different girl... Imai, definitely noticed that the dance moves were off in the 1st or second episode. He then said that he knew it was 2 different people, a true fan fr. I wonder if Baba and Nikaido are dating. It seems like it. Goriki is a wholesome friend. I wonder how bad the diary must've been for the other doctor to be like "yeah GPs shouldn't see this". Its a possibility that the fake Yuki killed the real Yuki in order to be in Mystery Kiss, but how did she find the real Yuki? |
