What kind of male fantasy is more to your liking?

In many stories the journey of a protagonist leads him into relationship with one of the heroines, but they can be very different to each other. So which type of heroine is more to your liking in your perfect fantasy?

Quoting options here because MAL is weird and doesn't show them in full:
A girl it'd be very comfortable to be around, i.e. a "perfect wife" so to speak, like Orihime or Hinata.

Someone who might be not easy to deal with and who I'd need to "conquer" (e.g. a noble or some proud warrioress).

I'd like to be a slave pig to a dominatrix (a boss, a queen, etc.) instead.

The point of girls like Orihime or even Nagisa from Clannad isn't dominance, but mutual support. They serve as a gentle but reliable foil to the man and act as a refuge against a harsh world. This is actually portrayed infinitely in Tohru from Fruits Basket, whose entire role is supporting and uplifting those around her. And that's exactly what makes her more endearing than any harem archetype.

I like tough dominant girls like Mai and the Major from GITS. So...option 2?
My waifu is the most wonderful waifu. Mai Valentine.

We're freaking out that we're running out of time, but to do what? Should i stop and think of that? Is there something i could do to slow it down? Live in a day for once, instead of watch it sprinting by

This is all a boys fantasy, a real man fantasy is to never let anyone get close to you, be eternally alone, deal with every problem by yourself and never rely on anyone.

I don't have any particular preference personally. But I can't say that I care that much for female characters that appeal strongly to feminist/ misandronistic ideals as some people in the community seem to want.

Definitely option 1, I'd say 'most' of my fav girls are like that. I wouldn't want to be with a girl who bosses me around.

While they can be dominated depending on the person, I didn't imply that in the poll. Your definition is actually exactly what I had in mind.

Some that come to mind are characters like Sakura Haruno and Mikasa Ackermann. I've never really looked at them as greatly written female characters. Mikasa is okay and I don't really care for Sakura much. But there are some out there who love them and defend them as the best written female characters in shounen.

The real male fantasy would be escaping from all responsibilites and boring world to become a bounty hunter in space, meeting one of my loved ones one day who unfortunately get killed by the main villain and the mc wants to murder his ass who doesn't care about if it costs his own life. This is male fantasy in its purest form.
If you have time to think of a beautiful end, then live beautifully until the end.

Yeah, I was making more of an "inb4", since that's usually how critics will classify it in order to make it seem like there's an ignoble intent to wanting to be with a kind, caring girl.

I can't see how it's misandrist/feminist since the author doesn't hold those beliefs. One of the reasons why it doesn't have fanservice is because he's afraid his parents will read his manga and say something about it to him.

It's more about how these people might perceive them, not the author.

That's not a bad point...
Getting an anime girl is easy, any loser harem protagonist can do it.
But anime really could use some more traditionally masculine men.

1 & 2 are both good options but I think anime has a better track record portraying the sweet, wholesome type rather than the troublesome sort. But yeah I don't really feel like anime having a likeable love interest in it = male fantasy. I think stories aiming for that target needs to soothe the male ego by featuring acts of selfless heroism and stuff. Underdog stories work well in that regard. Bonus points if the previously difficult woman comes to appreciate the guy she formerly underestimated.

If you ask whether it's kino or not, then yes - it is that kind of a show. ;-) However depends on which Part we are talking about. In example, manly adventure with elements I mentioned before looked differently in Part 4 compared to Part 3 or Part 7; and despite many similar themes and elements present in Part 3 and 7, many of their takes on manly adventure, bonding and friendship among men were also different.

I'm a gentle guy so I'd like to meet a gentle girl matching me... Never liked a prideful type (and even less -- sadistic). Though it could be really cool for the girl to have a strong and firm character -- the main thing is, it must be not in price of understanding and supporting temper. And I'd really be glad to respond in kind.

My fantasy is being with a rule 63 version of myself from an alternate universe. We'd both think very similarly and be very comfortable around each other and would be willing to do anything with each other-- all feelings are entirely mutual. Truly a great fantasy in my eyes. Not to mention she'd be near identical in stature and build to me so she'd kinda be loli hehehehehehehe (kill me).

That kind of mutual support is something I yearn for. I'm naturally a supporter as well and I can't really imagine myself fitting into anything but that, so my perfect wife and I would both support each other ^_^

One of my fantasies is something similar to this but the girl is more Yandere-esque. Loyal, is obsessed with you, a tad bit crazy and would do crazy shit so she can keep you to herself-- but because she loves you-- I'd give all that love back to her so she can be happy and feel appreciated (this sentence is cringe as hell but I'm still going with it).
