| For a 90 minute movie (looks more like an ova or special tbh) I sure as hell didn't expect the first 25 min to be a recap, which really is pointless since there already exists an ep 10.5 special. Aside from that (and the kinda bad cgi) I find this a good movie but nothing exceptional with some dark stuff happened to the victims and the gang at the rescue doing what its best at slaying the damn goblins! |

| I quite like Goblin Slayer, but this movie has a lot of flaws. First, the recap take the first 20 minutes, which do not leave a lot for the story. A lot of scene/dialog had to be cut, making the story rushed and butchering the atmosphere. The animation is really bad. Such shitty graphisms could be okay in the anime, but we would except a movie to be careful about that. Also, it may be an misunderstanding on my part, but I always thought the paladin was in a underground dwarf castle. |

| The recap was just wasted time, they could use that time to improve the pacing of the movie cuz it needs more time lol. And yes, just other adventure of the Gobin Slayer slaying goblins. 5/10 for the movie. |

| Overall an extremely mediocre movie with nothing new/ nothing to get excited about. It's even worse than original because they didn't even bother to use strategies anymore.. They basically just raid the fortress and kill the boss 1 on 1.. The new raped girl of the day is very boring as far as personality goes. On top of 20 minutes recap, this whole arc feels like a filler with no real narrative progression. The only good part of this movie is decent animation and that's it. 6/10. |

| TV quality on the movie so yeah, not high but anyway. Enjoyed the strategy behind goblin slaying as always and the RPG tropes and party members are still charming. Still hate how they can't avoid staying and showing more than necessary on the goblin rape, it's like a brand of the franchise now, and not a good one. |
| The opening recap gives the same false-impression of the majority of the content in the same way the first episode of the prequel does. I'm not sure why they try to hide/downplay the comedic aspects so much when they're the most accessible part of the series. Recap aside it's basically a double-length episode of the TV series. So if you liked that you'll ~probably~ like this (the CGI seems to be worse though and the castle assault segment is extremely rushed), while if you didn't then nothing here will change your mind. |

| At first I was quite hyped about this movie, since I really enjoyed Goblin Slayer anime's first season. Sadly, after finally I managed to watch it and complete it, I was disappointed. It didn't feel like a movie. More like several chaotic OVA episodes telling one story that doesn't need a whole course to be told properly. What's more, I was kinda shocked after reading that this movie is almost 1h 30min long, because almost first 30 minutes of it was just a recap of the first season's anime series. Long story short, it was a regular Goblin Slayer with maybe cool fighting sequences, but I expected something more from a movie. Its plot was also messy and felt rushed, and by that unclear in many moments. I know that Goblin Slayer is about goblin slaying, but TV series were way better in terms of storytelling than this movie and the adventure it showed. |

| Tbh I kinda expected more. For a movie, quality wasn't anything special. Fight and action scenes were rather basic too. Story is just GS level, so can't complain I guess. Overall it's ok, but felt more like another few episodes of anime and not a movie. |
| Hm, nothing happened regarding plot or story development but that is expected considering that this is about slaying goblins hehe~ A solid good short movie just to have fun with their adventure in slaying goblins. 7/10 |

| Once again I am reminded that Goblin Slayer nails its presentation regardless of its thin story and characters. I probably enjoyed the series more, but this was a fun time. Yeah, it was standard Goblin Slayer shit, and it hardly added anything to the Goblin Slayer universe (goblins are evolving pog?), but it's nice to get some of that old fashioned goblin slaying so I ain't mad. I hope more of the series continues to get adapted. |

| That was some nice goblin slaying action as usual, I thought that noble fencer girl would join the party since she fits to be female goblin slayer but oh well, she looks abit spoiled for that. Hopefully there will be continuation of this int the future ^^ |

| It's basically a long episode of the TV show. If you didn't like the show, then you won't like this, since this is the same thing. It was good, nothing special tho. I wish the Goblin Paladin did a bit more, since he wasn't that interesting. 7/10 |
| Great movie, as expected of Goblin Slayer. I just really like their party of adventurers, none of them is annoying in the last. I'm surprised about the poll though, I don't see many reasons to dislike this. Season 2 when? |
| This...was disappointing. the first season of GS was a masterpiece to me, but this movie had plotholes bigger than a goblin king. There were way way too many goblins in that fortress yet they barely killed like 40 total in it and weren't even close to overwhelmed. there were scenes where they were acting like they had all time in the world followed directly by scenes where they were running for their lives. GS just inexplicably appears unharmed from all that snow, and he magically did not fall down the cliff. After the awesomeness of Season 1 this was really disappointing. hopefully Season 2 will be way better whenever it comes. |
| I watched this after reading the manga first, even tho i generally prefer anime, ngl i like the manga better, maybe because the movie came first and the manga was able to take its time and look into some faults of the movie(like pacing issue and choreography) thereby adapting the LN better. The plotholes you mentioned are taken care of for the most part, you might find them here and there but personally it looked fine for me. It is also better for the reasons i mentioned above. This arc is 14 chap iirc. |

| The first 25 mins is the recap of season 1 and we got to re-experience the "gruesome" scenes from season 1 what a horrifying experience that was as we all knew and the brutal scenes that the priestess had to go through that reappeared in the movie We get to see some new characters as well and a new-ish member joined as for now and a daring quest they had really not much anything to say rather than Goblin Slayer looking badass as always And in the end of it all the goblins might have learned something real quick and the ending scene with the priestess and Goblin Slayer so filling, And season 2 will yet to begin. |

| This story happened before new year even Goblin Slayer still guarding place from goblin instead of having a party new year. Less action but just me or no I saw animation a bit different. Strategy is more simple and I count it as short movie. Its Goblin Slayer after all. He is still cool. |

| Remembered about plan to watch list so checked what i had in there. Well that was very mediocre. Animation was okay, nothing special, i think the story is not a filler, while it feels like one. Felt really anticlimatic + a lot of rushed stuff. Also forgot about manga, might check it out. Overall 6/10 rather dissapointing ... |

| How Priestess was talking about how the two gods compare was my favourite part. Otherwise I got what I expected, more strategies and more goblin slaying. What happened to Noble Fencer was cruel and twisted even for the goblin's standards. In the end, Goblin Slayer made quick work of the paladin. For him, it was just another goblin. |

| wtf it's the same fucking thing as season one ain't it? Group of inexperienced low-level adventurers underestimating goblins had to be rescued by Goblin Slayer. Seriously at this point you'd be an idiot for not doubting this stupid guild cause they keep sending low levels after goblins and some of them are women too like what? You know full well that these things are capable of, they're not weak as a group and are very quick to adapt and evolve. Why not have a guild-wide announcement to tell everyone that goblins are not something you fuck with if you're low level especially if you're a woman because you will literally become a breeding cow. But they keep fucking doing it as if they're asking for it. |

| S1 did well with the protag's initiative, motive, as well rest of characters/guild development and the end was satisfying.. left out the grotesques. This movie however doesn't add anything new, an extra side chara story doesn't seem to matter only to hint there will be more of the same thing from S1 in S2. Having not read the manga I actually don't have hope to see another good chara development in the future, but guess I'll see.. |

| New day, new summons for slaying goblins. So yeah business as usual for Goblin slayer and his crew. But again though we got to see the devastating consequences of underestimating goblins, with yet another rookie band of adventurers meeting their end and the sole survivor being brutally abused. Well all and all she survived and was able to avenge her friends too thanks to some freak goblin slaying we got from our crew. Also my man Goblin slayer even survived an avalanche lol. So nothing too new and maybe would've preferred it to be a bit longer but still likeable as it is. So, 7/10. Same as series. Now wait for second season. |

| No real noticeable improvements to the production quality that you'd usually expect in an anime movie, but that's okay; at least it doesn't look worse lol. Although CGI Goblin Slayer still kind of bugs me a little bit. There were two obvious places to split this movie up in which you'd make 3 separate episodes from this. And it really does feel like some more goblin slayer episodes rather than a movie, heck the first quarter is a recap after all. Still, I'm glad they kept this out of season 1 because in doing so they ended off the season with a satisfactory ending. Putting this at the end would ruin that effect for sure. Anyway, it's more goblin slayer, but to me it doesn't reach any of the higher points that season one reached. 5/10 |

| this was pretty lame. Just like the show. Not really bad but not really good either. Heavily relies on the shock factor for drama. Speaking of which how often did they repeat the same dozen frames of her trauma? 5 times? 6? With the brand and the altar you would expect there to be more to it than just this. Some kind of ritual. She just got branded for the sake of it? Lame. With a title like "goblins crown" you would also expect there to be more than just a raid on a fortress. There wasnt even a crown lmao. Not once was the group actually in danger either, or atleast it never felt like it. not to mention 1/3rd of this was a recap. Really feels more like an OVA than a movie. Basically its really just more of the same as the show, the recap is actually kinda handy since the story isnt very memorable and it has been 4 years for me. Since this really doesnt add anything new to the story though I guess its good that its self contained as a movie and doesnt drag season 2 down. I dont want to shit on it too much though, I kinda like some of the characters. Atleast the elf seems ok. And the backstory of the girl was not bad either, seeing your group slowly turning against you because your plan fails was done well. Really Goblin Slayer is an odd anime for me. It has everything it needs to stand out and be really good, yet it just isnt. Take out the rape and you have an average fantasy story. |

| 30 minute recap kills this movie from the start, i was wondering what we d get after a Goblin Lord an well i guess we get a Goblin Paladin, he kinda sucks at fighting though 4/10 |

| i thought it was really good. the fortress fight was crazy, we never got to see what happened with the prisoners but i think they were all saved. what a crazy plan, but it worked. |
