| Thinking of dropping it, the adaptation was just okay before and this episode was just a big drag/filler. Still 40+ episodes left and i assume there would be more of those same unnecessary episodes. I guess i'll stick for a couple of episodes or mb till the end of the season. |

| The first thing that the knights do is cleaning then. Looks like the hardest task has to be waking up Yami though. Noelle really is a sheltered young lady huh. The reasons that their squad mates have for being magic knights sure is pretty varied. And just as varied are their specialties as well. So Magma and Yami's mission was gambling then. So the punishment from that game was to listen to his request which created this mission then. Hmm so Noelle can't use broomsticks either then. Considering her problems i guess its to be expected. Magma's broom sure looks stylish in addition to having an impressive name. Looks like this mission will be anything but routine though with the cultists and the flaming boars. An interesting episode though a slow paced one. Looks like their first mission will be interesting though. |

| This episode had me laughing hysterically between the nudity and the broom incident. Still making progress with the beasts in the dungeon, at least he got it to sit booboo. 😂 |
| So, they're naked and still want to bet...WAIT! DON'T DO THIS...oh, they'll just bet the Grimoire... I thought they were going to cut the summary down at the beginning, but they were just saving time for the filler. | I caught up on this anime in like the past two days, and I just want to say that I've been enjoying ti a lot. I know that it has its flaws, but they are also exaggerated. That being said, things I think could use improvement.. - more variety in the voice acting - diversity in what the characters say, I know that right now we haven't been properly introduced to them yet, but they could still say the same things in different ways. The side character with the most variety right now is the clown character, he always reacts to what others say in his own signature way, but doesn't repeat himself. - Making sure the show in general doesn't seem on loop, also because of repetitiveness, when the same actions are done it all becomes the same. On another note, I really liked the magic entrance exam of a couple episodes ago |

| This is the most shonen shonen to have ever shonen'ed the world of shonen- and I'm totally fine with it. For a simpleton like me, this is all I need to be happy from anime, and each episode passes by like a flash. I think I understand the several low votes for these early episodes: most of them probably come from those who watched this while it was airing. There's still of course quite a handful of people who watch this now just to hate on it, but I believe for the most part that the dislikes come from those who watched this as it aired back in 2017. Because if I think about it, I too probably wouldn't have seen the appeal as it aired weekly. This is something truly to binge watch. Waiting a whole week in between each of these episodes (for me at least) would have killed the hype. For something like this, I have to watch one episode after the other for a continuous stream to have the full effect. Why? Because honestly at the moment it's just another shonen, an enjoyable one at that for me, but at the same time currently lacking any real substance. To go one week in between each of these episodes that are low on substance probably couldn't sustain me for long. But having them all available now, and I can consume them all quickly and all the little things each episode does adds up to become a proper meal to leave me satisfied. Not that I expect anyone to understand what I just said, but I just thought I'd lay out my thoughts here for now. Anyways, onto the next episode. Honestly if these early episodes which I am enjoying are the ones that are considered bad, man. I think I'm going to end up really loving this sh*t. edit: And to any complaints of how slow it seems, bruh, when you consider the fact that it is very much the epitome of a shonen, this thing is moving blazing fast imo. We took an exam for 20+ episodes in HxH before truly getting down to business (loved the exam arc btw lol, don't get me wrong). Asta gets into the Magic Knights in but 6 episodes from the start. I was expecting it to take way longer. If Black Clover were 12 or 24 episodes, then yes this sh*t be dragging on. But it's not. It's 170 episodes bro |
