| I don't watch an anime by it's ratings. Ratings have no relation with the anime. Just by watching MHA,JJK and tokyo revengers anyone can realize this truth. |

| You'll find masterpieces that have like a mean score of 6 or so. I've seen many of those top 50 but many of those are also not that good in my opinion. But people have their own opinion about things. You should check for anime with your favorite genre instead of trusting other peoples score here. |

| Excluding a few dropped anime (and their sequels), I've watched everything from the top 50 except Kingdom (PTW) and Fate Heaven's Feel. Those who say that "there are a lot of bad anime in the top 50 and a lot of good anime rated low" should study some statistics. The anime rated 6.00-7.99 are 15 times more than the ones above 8.00: it shouldn't be surprising that the good anime rated low are quite a few. |

| I'll break it down as such. From MAL's numbered 50 on the "Top Anime" list: Ones I have never seen and have no plans to watch: - Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood (but do have the 2003 iteration on my PTW list) - Gintama (all of the different Gintama entries; it's pointless to list each of them individually - I wish every series was restricted to only one place in the first place rather than being divided between seasons) - Shingeki no Kyojin season 3 part 2 - Hunter x Hunter (2011) (but do have the 1999 iteration on my PTW list) - Violet Evergarden Movie - 3-gatsu no Lion 2nd season - Clannad: After Story (as of now; it may change if I ever watch Clannad) - Code Geass - Shingeki no Kyojin: The Final Season - Haikyuu!!: Karasuno Koukou vs. Shiratorizawa Gakuen Koukou - Mob Psycho 100 II - Shouwa Genroku Rakugo Shinjuu: Sukeroku Futatabi-hen (maybe; depends on whether or not I get around to watching the first season) - Hajime no Ippo - JoJo Stone Ocean - Jujutsu Kaisen - Kimsetsu no Yaiba Movie - Ashita no Joe 2 And some series on there, like 3-gatsu no Lion (the first season though) and Monster, I dropped. Again, MAL's Top 50 would be a lot less messy and more coherent though if they restricted each slot to one series, not second and third and fourth seasons and prequels and movies and second and third seasons part 2 quarter 1 eighth 4 of the same damn series! The amount of Gintama entries occupying space on that list - Nine - is absolutely ridiculous! Three Gintama entries back to back. It's taking up almost a fifth of the list! It should be the next big reform MAL makes. Hopefully there's a faction pushing and advocating for that. |

| I haven't bothered watching some from the top 50 simply because they don't interest me, namely the Monogatari series. Haven't seen all of Gintama but I'm enjoying it so far. Don't plan on seeing Mushoku Tensei. There's very few titles in the top 50 I truly enjoyed tbh. |

| I mostly watched the top 50 but many Gintama seasons are utterly ridiculous. They should make a system about that, including Monogayari. Monogatari is great, you should watch that OP. |

| Since my haven't watched yet are a lot more compared to my watched one, so I'll list what I have watched instead. All Gintama related FMAB FuruBa the Final HxH Koe no Katachi Code Geass Kimi no Na wa Haikyuu related JJK GTO Also 1 dropped. The rest, haven't seen. It's not like I plan to watch all of them though. Maybe a few more if I'm interested. And btw I'm waiting for all AoT seasons to finish come out and only then I will start watching it. |

| I haven't watched: - Violet Evergarbage movie (name expresses my feelings about this work). - Ousama Ranking (people say it's amazing, but I can't be bothered right now with a 2 cour series that doesn't grab my attention visually... maybe in the future, I can't do dirty to Wit after the fantastic Vivy). - Kingdom 3rd Season (people don't even want you to watch the anime, and the manga is too long). - Link Click (blame the one below, all the stuff I checked out so far made me lose hope in any Chinese cartoon being good). - Mo Dao Zu Shi: Wanjie Pian (First two seasons were horrible and I ain't being baited into watching another, also screw you, they are not even top 100 anymore!). I used to watch everything in the top 100 just because they were there, that made me try out some amazing works, but plenty others were shit and I was stuck watching them for the sake of completionism doesn't matter if 10 eps long or 150, man I was retarded even bothering. |
