| But I'm pretty sure the more I watch shows, I tend to develop my own standards. And I believe there are no such things called high or low standards. I think it's very relative towards each person and don't felt too belittle just because that person has such low mean score, doesn't mean that person has high standards. Maybe that person is more sensitive or critical. I mean each person has their own likes/dislikes right ? |

| I'm the opposite of "harsh", though I don't consider this to be a matter of "standards". It's more so that I want the stories I watch to succeed and engrossing and entertaining me, so I do not enjoy picking it apart. (Unless it's after I watch it and it's annoyed/disappointed me and I'm trying to understand what went wrong.) |

| I tend to go pretty literal on the score charts. 6 is not a bad score in my book, it just means its "Fine". That being said 10 needs to really jump out. If you are in the 10 status then you are an anime I will remember for a while and will most likely re-watch a lot. My mean score tends to be in the 7-8 range. I think only two anime series have ever gotten a 1 from me, and I think they are rightly deserved. If I'm not enjoying it will usually drop it, unless it tricks me... .....LOOKING AT YOU SCHOOL DAYS! God I hate that show. |

| No. Though I do value my time in the sense that I mostly watch shows that I think are well worth watching and is deserving of 7-10 scores, for now atleast. I also admit that a shows' flaws becomes much more apparent and a bother to me when it often gets labelled as the "best peak fiction of all time" (same reason I think AoT is mid), well its not like anything could lived up to that title anyway. |
