| Great episode as always. They really had to off screen Haruto's death. RIP man. :( Got to feel sorry for Lena. She wants to do the right thing but unfortunately, she doesn't have the power to do it. Annette The reaction of Fido, the scavenger, was funny. Jumping up and down because of Shin's comment. The after credit scene was intense with what Rei did to Shin. They really did show Rei as the Legion. |

| Omg that scene between Annette and Lena and Annette's backstory with the 86 and her father's project (and suicide), that was totally heartbreaking, especially when she said that she hates Lena and to never comes back... of course Lena's uncle doesn't help her as well, and now they cut the communications with her and the 86, they're only 5 left and they're on their way to die, that's just absolutely depressing, not to mention that post-credit scene with Shin and his Brother's flashback, it explains why he has that scar on his neck, that was totally terrifying... probably the best episode so far, it was absolutely great. |

| That ending....so that was actually Rei's emotional outburst that he said and did in the heat of the moment in the most worse way...I wonder if Shin will get to know the truth that his brother didn't mean what he did. Looks like there are a lot of Albas who think that what the government is doing is not right but they know that going against the government will bring no merit. I agree with them, one can't just go and change everyone's mindset to how they want it to be. They can't change their mindset but they can force the government, to do that Lena have to find a lot of Albas who have similar views about 86, some bloodshed might be necessary if they want to bring revolution. But I don't think any Albas would want to put their life on the line to end this discrimination... But really if they don't want this activity of theirs to get public then why do this in the first place... It was beautiful yet heartbreaking to see them go to the battlefield when they know that there's no way of returning alive. The ED song was beautiful as usual. |
| Damn,the music in this episode was on point! That mid ep song,and the timing of the ED song were nigh on perfect! Of all the good things this anime has done,I really would like to thank the studios audio team for its usage of sounds,songs and also the CV's themselves. Absolutely brilliant! "Hands up to the Sky" is a superb song. |

| Wow. What a bitch. Annette is just another hypocrite who blames her failures and shortcomings on the society. Difference is she actually thinks that she is right and even disregards a person who is actually trying to help, showing that she is sick to the core. I am amazed at how the show manages to portray all the emotions. Hiroyuki Sawano is at his best once again. The details in the anime amaze me. This actually looks like it has been adapted from a Novel. |

| watching them leaving their base... 1 day after 2 vtubers (Coco and Lulu) graduated, fuck, it hit a little harder than it should have lol this was a hard episode for Lena, literally everyone told her to leave them i wonder what will happen in the last episodes + 2nd season/cour, if they are supposed to die in this attack, will they show a new team? will these 5 not die? humm, i'm kinda curious |

| The reveals of Annette's past alongside the true nature of the final mission the Republic dished to the 86 is absolutely phenomenal in this show, especially the contrast between the naive Lena against the disillusioned Annette. There goes the final 5 surviving members of the Spearhead squadron, against Shin's brother out of all people |
| It's sad but at the same time pitiful that Lena is being treated this way. No one really is going to support her, and the only thing she can possibly do to "fulfill" her goal for the people she cares about...is to do it the other way...damn I hope this works. All the characters we saw in the first episode, only 5 remained for the last mission. Shin and his co. has nothing left to lose, it's a do or die situation. And after all the hints and buildup that we were teased, we finally know what happened to Shin's onii-chan...I'm at a loss of words. Next episode is going to be a banger, hope I don't cry by the end of that. |

| Anette is not pulling any punches and punching Lena in the face with all these facts This situation is getting complicated day by day and I'm not going to blame why Lena is frustrated from the start and how can she even save the 86 from this death mission This feeling of emptiness in my head after they all left one last time, and the chills that I felt through my spine are so god damn scary and depressing. |

| Lena's attitude and idealism angered her best friend and uncle, eh? I don't like how most of characters are fodder in this show. Who was Haruto? I couldn't recall how he looked like, and his death happened offscreen anyway. Good post-credit scene. |

| Ok starting with confirmation of several off-screen death as Shin brought some juggernaut remaining that he used to collect from his deceased comrade. Lena went to Annette's to discuss the squadron impossible 0% survival chance. Annette shove some harsh reality toward her face that nothing that they can do about it. She then told her about the past of Para-Raid manufacturing that her dad develop. Harsh truth came one by one as the subjects that used for that was actually human, 86 to be precise. In other way it was human experimentation. Even she told Lena that one of them was her neighbour. The mother and her son have weird power that they can felt about each other without talking. That what made her father had any interest in them. In the end her father couldn't bear with that experiment and killed himself as lots of them dead in process. With those facts in hand Annette blame Lena that she was the one who'll be also killing them by bothering them with her resolution and shoving that truth right in her face made her depressed in the end( well as we can see in picture & photos behind her, we already can assume who's Annette neigbour was ;). Right after that, her uncle and commander Jerome shove another harsh reality check to her again. Once again, there is nothing that they could do, As there is nothing that they can expect from those "white pigs" a.k.a the people of San Magnolia themselves. He exactly understand how trash were them but as a military they could only follow the government, on other hand the the people of the republic too. Desperate Lena begging Shin to just run away but OFC Shin and the squad won't do that. They certainly had a goal and purpose especially Shin end his Brother, Shourei that actually already turn into Sheperd. He asked Lena not to contact the squad again and advised her to go to the east border, Because Legions were not stationed there as San Magnolia'll be destroyed sooner or later. The preparation and day before their "final" battle against Shourei a.k.a Dullahan. beautiful BGM as they enjoyed their last day and reminiscing of the whole Squad. Finally they went to the "last" battlefield together as remaining 5 of spearhead squadron.. once again this transition into ed credits with "Hands Up to The Sky" was wonderful. another glimpse of Shin past with his brother in the after credits. With Shourei desperation after he lost her parents and vent those anger and hopelessness into Shin. Almost choking him to dead, I guess that when Shin got his neck scar. and.. Himself a.k.a Dullahan made his appearance in the end as the sheperd.... |
| Hits hard to see the spearhead unit is just the five of them being sent to their death. Lot of harsh words from the people Lena is supposed to be close with and also sad seeing that after-credit scene with Shin's brother. |

| Now that I think about it, how tf can they hide these atrocities that they're doing to 86'ers? Something of this scale? Don't they have international media? Anyway, now there's only 5 of them like how tf did that happen? I wish they'd just stick to linear storytelling cause this shit is confusing me I already have a lot of shit to think about irl and it doesn't help that I mostly watch this while on the treadmill so I'm a bit distracted. |

| also why did they need to switch from wireless comm to RAID comm ? Its not like wireless comm gives any disadvantages, maybe except for need of tower signals or satellite signals but they havent explained the benefit of raid comm. |
