| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Well it's not surprising they went with an all out race for the finale. My only disappointment is not seeing McQueen there with the others. Looks like everyone is both excited and tense about the race itself. The one to really look out for is Teiou out there. You can tell she poured all her heart into winning and the promise she made. Quite an inspirational way to showcase her determination if you ask me. Heh, I'm glad they bought back the idol performance one more time. 7/10. |

| Mejiro McQueen's news is unfortunately out, and announced to the world that she can no longer run. That must've been quite the shock. The last of races: the G-1 Arima Kinen race, with old and new rivals re-appearing again for one last hurrah, and the most important for everyone whom has future dreams and aspirations. An exhilarating final race that sees all horse girls going the extra mile, and it's Tokai Teio's part from not just being the expected win, but also the overwhelming surprise of a crucial breakthrough despite the full recovery from her injuries from past episodes. Smiles of cries for the finale, and for good reason, and what way to finish than with the usual Winning Stage. A fitting finale to a superior sequel. |

| Starting with Dia-chan crying... This hurts so much. Don't let our little horses cry please. But Teio is a fighter, she'll always fight until the end! Miracles are made. Finally an idol dance after the winning... That was missing. Next season confirmed with Dia-chan and Kita-chan? |

| Well this season had a but to much drama especially compared to last season but i liked the ending. Seeing McQueen and Teiou as the leading characters was also a surprise but it was nice to watch them and Special week in the background wasn't such a bad thing. Susuka finally coming back to Japan in this episode was a surprise as well tho we needed more of her we only saw her a couple of times this season. I did enjoy the anime as well. |

| Good finale but clearly the first season was better. Maybe this had too much of drama and also not having Special Week as a main character just made this less interesting. I still give this 8/10 because it wasn't a bad season by any means. I enjoyed it a lot. |

| The season full of drama and injury comes to an end. What a great ending. Teio got the dramatic winning at Arima Kinen. She pushes herself hard and fights until the end. It's was the victory that everyone wants to happen. And, McQueen returns to running. Congratulations!!! The haircut girls were amusing as always. Their hair was, finally, shaved. Oh! Suzuka is back. Hopefully, there will have the third season. Will Kitasan and Dia join the Team Spica? Suzuka also coming back. It will look super interesting. |

| Damn Teio made me cry, that was an incredible race and I'm glad she won. Everyone crying and cheering her was really emotional. The winning performance was really good. This was a nice sequel of Uma musume. The only thing I didn't like was how they dragged on the injury thing way too much. Anyway if we get season 3 I'll definitely watch. Thou we proly won't get focus on some new girls again but that's fine. |

| Everyone in the audience cried, and so did I. It was an amazing race, Teio deserves all the applause. They finally did an idol performance, I liked it. Also, I love Umapyoi Densetsu so it was great to hear it at the end. I loved this season, the drama was perfect (at least for me). Teio and McQueen's relationship was amazing. They were ready to do anything for each other. I hope there will be another season of Uma Musume and Mayano Top Gun'll have more screen time, one can only hope. |

I would need to revisit S1 to be sure, but as of now I prefer S2, even tho I think that writing for the drama was pretty lazy. Also missed Spe-chan as MC tbh. |

| The real commentators did it better, but... well, it's good enough as it is. I love the Forrest Gump take they do for "that" moment. | I didn't like this season as much as S1, there was way too much drama, a MC I don't particularly like and my 3rd favorite girl can't run anymore, I enjoyed a lot when the other girls were on screen like Rice Shower, team Canopus, foretelling bits, etc. |
| YEEEEEEEEEES, the final episode was wonderful, I loved that whole Teiou scene, she was incredible and it's great to see her winning after all the problems she encountered during this season, I think it was even better than S1 to be honest |

| The animation on the concert was so amazing, half the time I couldn't tell if it was 3D or 2D. Kinda wish I hadn't spoiled myself by checking the real horse bio, such emotional ending. Also I find it kinda hilarious that the horse girls only grow up, never grow old. On a last note, didn't like this season as much as the first, the change on how they animate the races took a bit of the thrill plus like others said too much drama, that said I'll give it an extra point just because of Twin Turbo, such a fun character! |

| Wow, what an incredible ending. I was a little iffy however, when Teio was pushing herself so hard I was worried she would set herself back again. McQueen's reaction was very powerful to say the least. Teio, just like Twin turbo, showing that if you give it your all you can accomplish anything. Seeing Teio back on top after so much struggle felt so good. It was also really REALLY nice to see Biwa Hayahide dancing. Overall, this season was absolutely stellar. I feel as though a show about anthropomorphized horse girls shouldn't be this good, but it is. The character development, the presentation for the races, the above average to excellent animation, attractive character designs, and the compelling story made this fantastic. It handled all the emotional moments wonderfully. Teio's charm and enthusiasm made her lovable, and then seeing the stark difference of her being down and depressed was really impactful. McQueen was a great rival to Teio and the twist of her also getting hurt, after dominating all season really caught me off guard. Rice Shower's story was also really compelling. I'm hoping if they do a third season, that Rice is the focus. I'd love to see her work hard and get a following. I think the only thing that gets me is the whole timeline of this show. Just how much time has passed since the first episode? It would've had to been at least 3 years. Not to mention the time skip afterwards having the two little horse girls be old enough to enroll into the school. I kind of think this series goes off the rails a bit when it comes to skipping around time wise. This was even better than the first season and arguably one of the best sports-esque anime that's aired in quite a while. CyGames is killing it with this one, and I'm eager to see much more from the world of Uma Musume. 9/10 |

| 7/10. 1 less than the first season. Mainly because overall it was less good most of the time. The last episode was great though. They just know how to create a good atmosphere during those races. Only sad thing: We didn't see much about McQueen ... instead just the time skip where she seemed ready to race again ... with the other 2 young girls older and starting to visit that school. |

| I can't believe how incredible this season was, i never expected it. Healthy friendship/rivalry between Teio and McQueen was amazing, the races were hype (especially the Rice Shower win and ofc THIS INCREDIBLE FINAL) and the emotional moments hit so damn hard, i guess the show did was a great job making me care for these characters. Brilliant, i gotta give this a 10. |
| NGL even with the miracle by the power of friendship, this saison was way better than already good S1. Also we finnaly got the performance after the race and it was amazing! Now with the huge success of the game in Japan let's hope for an even better S3 with Dia-chan and Kita-chan as MCs. Also I would mind if the game would get a global English release, my Japanese still sucks :( |

| I don't like animal but I knew since first season was based of real life horses, while watching this tragic season I did a bit research about the horses and all I have to say is the writers did a great job adapting the history. It was nice to finally this anime did a proper idol concert. |

| What a way to end this season. Teio wins a surprising comeback race and even Suzuka makes an appearance in the flesh other than on a screen! Also love the Idol performance at the end, it's been a hot minute since we seen one of those. The final race was quite an emotional one and kudos to the writers for adapting this comeback story. It's not really to my liking, but since they are adapting actual sport history, you can't make too many changes. Overall, great show again. I did miss Spe-chan being the protagonist in this season and the amount of injuries, despite them being true stories, was a bit too much for me. Still, not a bad show at all. Solid 8/10 from me and Rice Shower is second best girl now!! Edit: These votes are getting really ridiculous now :( |

| I absolutely loved this final episode, and the entire season. Teio raced so hard and won in the end, making everyone cry, me as well lol, and very cool to see that reflects the real horse too, amazing stuff. I love seeing Teio win, especially after seeing her so sad in some of the earlier episodes, she deserved it so much. That concert makes up for the absence of them through most of the season imo, the animation was really good and the girls were super cute, Nice Nature became one of my favorites after it, love when she blew a kiss at the camera lol. Gonna miss this season a lot, I definitely feel it was better than season 1, Teio was my favorite then and she still is now, I’ll miss her the most, as well as the rest of the new characters introduced and the classic gang. Hope for a season 3, I need more Teio! |
| you got me UMA again i was thinking what she actually has a chance at winning and it isn't because of the plot armor? but once again borrowing from history can somehow end up making the impossible possible it really was a miracle final run for Teio. was still salty but my girl Nature-san came a long way and made it to 3rd they all looked so good in the performance wasn't sure about this season moving on for new main chars and our old umas being hit to the sidelines but the rivalry between Teio and Mcqueen was peak sportsmanship and just wonderful to watch even if the drama was ramped up to 11 to the point where i really didn't think we'd get a "good ending" not knowing the history really makes it hard to know whats real or not but i should know how closely they follow the real life counterparts outside of you know them fully "retiring" also hairdresser duo is the best god damn paring of unnamed chars this season they stuck to the bit the whole show lol 8/10 uma seems to being quite well way bigger than it was in 018 with the game now so i feel a Season 3 could happen |

| Man.. Why are the 1/5 bots targeting uma musume of all series?? What losers. What a fantastic finale to a fantastic series and this episode was a easy 5/5 for me. I loved everything about it from start to finish. The match was really emotional and I'm really glad Teio won. That performance was a surprising highlight for me since usually in the past, I don't really care for them but the context of this match and the conclusion of this match made me really enjoy it. I loved the usage of the opening and it visually looked fantastic and I'm pretty sure it was 2d for the most part with a tiny bit of 3d and it turned out great. A great match, great performance and the actual conclusion itself was awesome. Teio and Mcqueen finally get to race and I'm not even mad we don't get to see the winner because the mystery makes it more interesting. Since the ending and the opening were both used as inserts I also like how they used a different one lol. EASILY my AOTS with a comfortable 9.5/10 |

| The only thing I hated in this episode, is that they didnt put more effect on Teio running, like on Rice Shower vs McQueen race, that would had made Teio victory heavenly epic. We finally completed the hairstylist gag. I was impressed with the trust to let the hair be cut again. I had forgotten that one of the main things, is that Uma Musume was mainly a idol thing.Was a great a great concert to close this season. Biwa Hayahide is so great singer I'm happy to see Twin Turbo once more,even not running. And Silent Suzuka. |

| Man, what a glorious end. Its surely a very nice watch seeing Tokai arouse from the darkness and proved to everyone, including McQueen, that the miracle exist in every races. Well, ofc with all of her determination, effort, spirit, hard works, every miracles could be realized into something as sweet as that last GI race. The victorious glory for the best girl. Yep, its a special finisher. The great finale. The cutest and strongest comeback i've ever seen. Then the way everyone sheds a tears, including me, these episode really a successful final. I am satisfied. The time skip also gave such a nice way to present the very last touch of the forever couple of this second season, Teio-McQueen, including the new horse girls that ready to fight their own futures. Suzuka-chan also made an attendance too. Man, easy 9/10 for the whole series. 10/10 for these mere episode. Might try the game as well, if the world wide version has been announced to spread. Can't wait for that, and that's it all from me. |

| The final race was incredibly hype. The emotions around Tokai Teio got to everyone, as they all cheered her on as she closed in and eventually passed Biwa Hiyahide to win the race. This show knows how to make me shed a few tears, huh? XD Not to forget, we also got the idol performance with Teio, Biwa and Nice Nature and, like with the first episode, it was animated really nicely and rarely used CGI on the horse girls at all. Good stuff! Overall, this second season of Uma Musume will be another 8/10 from me. Although I still prefer Special Week as a main character, Tokai Teio and McQueen were really fun to watch, both during the highs and the lows. I know that I mentioned this before, but I'm glad this series didn't hold back with the drama, since we are closely following what happened to the horses in real life. It might be too much for some, but I would be more disappointed if the show did too many deviations because of the drama. It would make for a less satisfying watching experience. Since the popularity of the mobile game has taken off like a rocket, I do hope we get some more Uma Musume anime, in whatever form, in the future. =D |
| This second season was better than anything I could have expected. Would have expected something in the same fashion as the 1st season with McQueen and Teio having a good old competition. Didn't expect a injury and friendship season. Glad to see the idol performance to end the series. Hopefully there's a 3rd season. Did that hair stylist just carry that scissors everywhere she goes? |

Just like its real life counterpart, she did a race that can only be described as a miracle. And as much trash I thought in the past about the animation quality, the live performance, the race itself and McQueen's expressions were beautiful. And I don't agree with people saying this season had too much drama. Race horses don't have an easy life, so drama should be expected, and if you don't like it, well, you can take a time machine and slap the real Toukai Teio to the face for fracturing his leg so many times. Amazing season and amazing final (MUCH BETTER than the terrible dream match of S1), but I wish S3 had a focus on the rest of Spica instead of Kitasan Black and Satono Diamond. Just a wishful thinking |
