As title says, mine was physics, despite being good at it,I found the class to be not only stressful due to how the teacher was but also meaningless since we focused more literature and history rather than math and biology.

What about you?

Math and Physics. The reason being that we read Math 4 and Math 5 at the same time, thus already having a stressful time, we get bombed with physics aswell. I'd say that we have a 20-30% fail rate at math tests and I'm lowballing.

I hated pretty much all of the math classes I had in high school, though funnily enough I did well and enjoyed the ones I had for my freshman year in uni. It's weird how things change.

English. I can't stand English. We have to read some shit we don't care about, and then answer some random questions and write an entire essay about said shit we don't care about, which completely defeats the intended purpose of the author's works, which is to entertain people, not torture students. At least with something like math you can just do it quickly and be done with it. You can't do that with an entire English essay, it's gotta be at least 5 or however many paragraphs and be in MLA format and have works sited in this very specific way because, I don't know, fuck you that's why. Some of the assignments I've gotten this year are so dumb too. Last week we had to do an essay on a test we did to show what we learned. ISN"T THATT SUPPOSED TO BE THE POINT OF THE FUCKING TEST??

When I was in school, I hated Math to death. I would even skip it and I never did my homework. I've only had below D grades in math after grade 6. So my math knowledge is basically the same as the one of a sixth grader.

My most hated subjects in high school were subjects where the teacher was either incompetent, did not articulate concepts well, or was not motivational. One year I loved chemistry because I had a teacher who had charisma. The next year I had another teacher who was rather quiet and awful at making the same subject interesting.

In general though I would never take an English or social sciences class beyond the minimum requirements.

For those struggling with middle school or high school math, please see teachers on YouTube such as Eddie Woo.

At school it was easily chemistry and english , mostly due to the subjects , although i liked physics my phy teacher was utterly insufferable.
Math is and always will be great regardless of teacher, and my last high school math teacher was a chad who i still respect highly.

I hate math, I suck at it and it's boring. I also suck at music theory. And science is so boring too.

The classes I tolerate the most are English and Chinese...
"I suffered all my life. No one ever truly loved me. No one ever truly cared about me. I only loved one thing in my whole life and that was Christina Menefee. But she was torn away from me. I tried to save myself with [student’s name], but she never cared for me. As it turns out, she made fun of me behind my back while we were together. And all throughout my life I was ridiculed. Sad to see half of replies being mathematics...

Civic education for me. I do not need of a communist history teacher to tell me trivialities such as "voting is a right, it is also a duty", and "if you do not vote, your opinion does not matter" (as if it did in the other alternative!).

I use to attend a christian school, we had a subject called biblical education. It was complete dogshit. It was boring and all the assingments were a waste of time. All my classmates at the time hated it and we all cheated on the exams. It was mandatory for 3 years too.

I hated everything in hi school, the teachers were too dumb and annoying, my french teacher made me redo a text because it was too good, she said it wasn't my level of french, so I redone it putting mistakes there on purpose, then I read it the next day and she gave me a low score, maybe 7/10 and then I said to her: "I see you enjoy mediocrity, I'll never try to earn a 10/10 at this dumb language in my life".
college was ok, I remember a statistics class which was kinda hard because the professor was an idiot but college was fun

Back in school any subject that required memorizing tons of texts and quotes without thinking were atrocious to me like history,...etc.
I am surprised to see this much hate for Math it was probably my favorite subject!

PE. I already exercised on my own free time. College PE was personally a waste. Mostly just the physically unfit teacher teaching basic low intensity exercise routines.

Math 141 in PennState Altoona was hell. I was glad to pass the class my first try. Many people change majors due to this course. This is coming from a student who graduated 4th place in highschool. Kiss your free time goodbye if you plan to get anything higher than a C for this class.

mechanics of materials. i understand its importance, but it really is boring compared to some of the other fundamental subjects of mech e.

I also dislike reading and comprehension. I find the difficulty correlating with ones maturity to some extent, not just hard work.

Physics because holy shit the lessons are annoying as fuck. And the long-ass homework that gets little feedback anyways. Teachers don't even try to teach the lesson properly

Material mechanics, its known among certain engineering field students as most challenging thing that requires a lot of effort and understanding. I passed this class during last years spring semester but I still don't understand what I even was calculating there

High school was incredibly easy, so there was no such class in my case. However, we had this mandatory "physical education" class in college for some reason, where we were supposed to learn how to exercise and live healthily. The problem was that the teacher was blatantly wrong about almost everything he said. I do not know from where he got his broscience degree, but he was like a myth machine. He used to tell us that stretching before exercise prevents injury or that eating dinner after 7 pm is detrimental for your health. Moreover, we had to write thousand-words-long reports every week based on this misinformation. I do not even know what to say. Thanks, I guess. I almost forgot about this idiocy until I saw the thread.

I hate math with a passion. I’m currently taking math and I’m mostly likely failing. God it’s so hard and annoying to do and the teachers are always going so fast. I swear each class they manages to fit in atleast 2 lessons in. Math also ruined some of my favourite subjects like chemistry. I love Chem last year and was taking it this year but I had Chem and math in the same quad and math was kept stressing and pissing me off so much that I just dropped Chem. I’m not smart but I’m able to pull of decent grades so it’s weird as hell when I’m getting 80%+ on all subjects except for math.

Right now ? Fluid Machinery because the teacher is unbearable.

During school, it was our mandatory language classes until 10th grade. Absolutely hated them, although I regret not learning them better now.

Honestly math. In college, because I'm a non science major I was able to take some pretty easy classes. Although it was the end of the world for me when the professor decided to spring on a random group activity. Like, social anxiety was off the charts already - I also didn't need some 18 year olds kids to know this 23 year old didn't know how to do long division too.

Geometry and Chemistry but that was mostly because of the other students that were in those classes and how they acted in those classes. They would do shit like say "thats what she said" to literally anything someone else said. Someone would say "hey there's a bird outside" and then the next thing you hear is "that's what she said." Keep in mind this was high school.

During my high school days we had to take dance class for an extended amount of time. It's not that i didn't enjoy the subject but it seemed that the subject didn't like me. The tutors were tempermental and the people i got paired with just were a pain in the bum. I got to experience something outside of my comfort zone which is something always pleasant however, it would've gone a lot more smoothly if the tutors were more forgiving and the people who i got paired with wished they weren't doing this class right now.
