| Really disappointed in this episode. I feel sorry for anyone watching this and not having seen the first season. The episode had two aspects: 1. Big Bad Villains who are over powering but make not much sense 2. Everyone is whining with no hope of overcoming #1 That's about it.....just 3 minutes of fight and 15 minutes of despair. 4/10 |

| I just started this season and wow, I'm already cringing at nearly every character. These Cartoon Network level writers need to realize that just because villains do an evil laugh doesn't make them intimidating or anything, it just makes them annoying and childish. And then there's Subaru. He still doesn't get what's productive and what's not. |

| As an anime only watcher, i definitely feel relieved that Rem was not die at all. She just being erased. The question for me, if anyone wanna answer this shit, why Puck knew what happened? Why the witch of glutony did the erasing thingy to Rem? Was that supposed to be random or its necessary for him to did that? Thats it. Crusch design somehow was very similar to Emilia. And, poor Petra, her screen time just stopped there. Because, yeah, she was'nt even the heroine on this series. Lol |

| Lol! God help me! I was thinking for a second there that this anime might turn into a harem; when I watched the scene where Subaru was crying and swore that he will save Rem while Emilia was behind him hugging.ππ |

| What a start! This whole episode i had the same feeling i had back when then 1s was airing, and that's the feeling of despair, holy s**! My man, i feel bad for you. After this whole saga is over they should make a Rezero movie with all the moments where he succeeded, like a compilation but without him dying. After the 1s we thought that it was over, but it's not...Even more, suffering is coming. Tbh i thought that he would kill himself when Emilia turned, but i guess he won't try to change what happened. Since they didn't even show the 2nd battle, it jumped straight ahead when Rem was already in bed. What a first episode! |

| i made it, i finally made it. Caved in to finally watching this series after seeing some season 2 clips, so as the absolute low life i am, i zoomed through season 1 as fast as i could to catch up. Thank fucking christ for directors cut, 25 episodes boiled down to 13 40ish minute episodes help me catch up in no time, literally mini marathon. Although i will say, it'll definitely take some getting use to 20 minute episodes again xD i've been spoilt i won't lie, They definitely went full swing for the first episode, Rem getting wiped out straight away (God why D: ) and poor Crusch getting her memory taken. Subaru already having to reset, god that scene was hard to watch. Not surprised that Emilia's publicity of rolling for candidate and the death of the sin archbishop of sloth have struck a chord in the witch's cult's network. So it is true that the cult is split up to (presumably) 7 factions amongst themselves, each with their own unique ability, sloth with unseen hand an mad yoga skills, gluttony with the memory wipe and greed ability being...yet to be seen? I mean it sucks that Subaru's first encounter with the cult, has to be with probably the most insane and bad shit crazy faction out of them all, but it's good to know not all of them are like that. Plus already got them out of the way so what do you know. God Subaru can't catch a break can he, poor guy. I'm happy Emilia was able to console him as well as she did regarding his sadness for Rem, her being able to identify that Rem meant a whole lot to subaru was touching, and she gave some pretty heartwarming advice. She did a good. |
| Lol, a continuation of the "Who's Rem" thing. I wonder how much the fans enjoy a good "who's Rem" meme these days? Anyway, it was nice to see Emilia there to provide some support to Subaru during these trying times. Also, the new Sin Archbishops look pretty badass and tough as hell, so yeah, I can see why Rem lost. I hope Rem gets better. |

I tend to watch Anime based on the memes I see online. Weird way I guess. Anyway I ended up watching S1 by watching chunks of it for three days. I then watched the two OVAs (mini-movies) and started the second series today in the wee hours of the morning. Gonna continue with S2 E2 later today, after I get some sleep, lol. |

| Ah yes, the customary welcome for the audience after 4 years of waiting! The classic peace turning into terror and the death of Subaru to solve that problem. That's lowkey triggering some PTSD. They packed this first ep with tons of events, the Witch Cultist has no chill, best-girl Rem lost her identity and her memory, while Crusch got it 'relatively' easier, only losing her memory after being ambushed by some freakishly powerful cultist. Finally, the hype kicks in when Subaru proclaimed with words of conviction that he'll save Rem from this state no matter what. Let's gooooo! |

| Short, yet intense fight! Two next Archbishops revealed themselves. Crusch got her hand back (the one that was cut off), but her memories were taken away. Poor Rem. :( I bet Subaru will find a way to heal her. |

| I hate Felis and also Oyasumi Rem. I thought that if the beginning of this episode was confusing, it sounded fake. Why should an enemy appear when the first enemy is defeated, I don't understand. whether Subaru would fight against all the sinful sects in existence, was still a mystery. at least that sin of greed eats up Rem's memory and "sleeping princess". Subaru wasn't much different either, he was still a coward. But I'm thankful that this continues, I'll watch the next eps And also 9/10 for this eps, nice introduction |

| Anyone know what is the answer to the question of what was the REAL reason why the tests and the cementary created? Somehow I got lost with the origin stories of roswell as well as other things. I got lost in the dialogs and there was never a resolution to this (that I can think off) if it was spelled later please remind me this. |

| Strong start, just when everything seemed a bit hopeful, Gluttony made sure that Rem wouldn't be remembered by anyone except Subaru himself. Greed and Glutt both look insanely strong, compared to Betelgeuse at least. |

| The infamous who's Rem has returned with a vengeance! Subaru crying over his sleeping beauty still hit me hard even though I've known about this twist since the end of season 1. It's so weird seeing Crusch at so much timider but I'm glad that she still doesn't want to dissolve the alliance despite the risks. |
