Sora Yori, Aria the Animation, and Akage no Anne made me the most happy. Place further than the universe for its adventurous spirit, Aria for its cozy warmth, and Anne for its atmospheric adorableness.

Anime that makes me feel a certain nostalgia, usually an anime that I saw a long time ago and really liked it, and now I would watch another season from it, that's the type of anime that makes me happy. That, or an anime that makes me feel relaxed and has that ''sit down and relax'' vibe. It's something that is slow paced and with no violence or too much talking. Something that feels like a cool breeze in a hot summer.

only one anime has ever truly made me feel happy and content with life, even if it was just in the moment, that anime would be cowboy bebop, while I'm happy when I watch Jojo's and assassination classroom, its there more emotional parts that resonate with me better and what I enjoy about them the most, but they don't make me feel truly happy, I define happiness as being contempt with life in the moment and cowboy bebop encapsulates that feeling perfectly, cowboy bebop to me is about people who struggle with there past and try to be happy in the moment, they struggle to let go of there past and sometimes that even leads to there demises but when they finally do find contempt in the moment find solace in the answers there given and resolve there past conundrums, like them, I too feel truly happy and contempt. Take for example Jet's moment of contempt in session 10 "Ganymede Elegy", jest resolves his past with his ex Alisa, and when he gets his answer, he is contempt with his life, once he gets his answer he is truly happy and bears no regrets in the moment, and just like jet, I imagine myself standing next to him throwing the watch into the river truly happy.

It depends on what you define as "happy" lol. If it's anything that brings positive entertainment, it would be shows that provide a lot of thinking material, like Psycho-Pass, Madoka Magica, and Houseki no Kuni.

If "happy" means "being satisfied," 5 Centimeters Per Second.

If "happy" means having a stupid grin on my face, Asobi Asobase.

K-On is one of the worst shows I've ever seen and it almost made me quit anime because that's all people at anime club would talk about.

On the other hand, Elfen Lied is much cuter.

I'm not in the habit of watching cartoons to prove my masculinity, Kosmo, lmao. I just like that kind of thing.
I viscerally enjoy over the top personalities with over the top muscles doing over the top moves to inflict over the top damage. Pro-wrestling is great for the same reason. :D
I love competition. I love people being hurt. I love adrenaline. I love cars crashing at 200 miles per hour. I love monster trucks that are huge for no practical reason going flying over mounds of dirt. I love watching someone deadlift trucks and pull airplanes.
That's just how I be my brodi. Sorry if my woke beliefs suggested otherwise.

Basically anytime I'm watching one of my favorite nostalgic anime from my childhood, it always brightens my day. I've recently done a few of them. However, now I'm trying to get caught up on Season 4 of Boku no Hero Academia, and I don't know why, but I'm just not getting into it this season around.

Saying that though, the holidays always up/increases my desire to watch/buy anime.

To name a few that made me feel great, Street Fighter Alpha The Animation and Generations, Ikkitousen, Mai-Otome (with OVAs), Sailor Stars, and Kyoukai no Rinne, just to name a few recent ones that made me feel happy.

Ngl, being a writer as opposed to a synopsis writer for bara would be the dream. There'd always be a competition for dominance that ends in brutal positioning where flexibility is tested.

I guess it would be Boku no Hero Academia. After watching it I do not feel an urge to discuss it with others, as seemingly there are not those loud, in-your-face flaws which warrant some venting as a responsible viewer. I simply watch it, enjoy it, and go on with whatever I am supposed to be doing.

Azumanga Daioh, Hinamatsuri, and maybe Barakamon. Azumanga Daioh since it's very funny, several characters are either cute, weird or uniquely weird (Osaka), and is essentially very fun.

Hinamatsuri has a different but still quite good style of humour. There is also some rather surprisingly heart-warming moments with regards to a certain character (Anzu).

Barakamon is also a comedy (surprise, surprise), but also has a very slice of life feel. I say maybe because I have read the manga to completion and would reflect back on that and not the anime.

Some honourable mentions would be K-On, A place further than the Universe, and Konosuba. I also occasionally rewatch fight scenes of Bleach so I guess I can count that. Sort of. Maybe.

"You know you've reached peak quality when a doujin is better than the actual source series." (Eg. To LOVE-Ru)

Just to list a couple of biases.
Likes: A good story, characters, writing, romance, a good plot twist or something that breaks expectations (In a good way), 'backstory' and justice.
Dislikes: Bad romance, too much fanservice, the harem genre, yuri, yaoi, and bad writing.

Right now It's Takegi San because that's what I'm watching. Lucky Star has historically been that anime for me, so I would probably revisit it for that purpose.

This ground is soiled by those before me and their lies. I dare not look up for on me I feel their eyes
