| We've all had those anime we started because the premise seemed interesting, it was done by our favourite studios, voice actors/actresses, et cetra, but what anime series (if multiple feel free to say multiple) did you start Just because of the opening theme? Feel free to post the opening theme as well, some might be interested in it just for that, and try it for that reason. For me, I got into Black Clover purely because the OPs were all bangers and I didn't regret it at all, probably my favourite shonen all time now. DomexKano's Kawakiwoameku also got me into the anime and manga, also now one of my all time favourites. Lastly, Kiznaiver got me to watch that, most slept on series and OP of 2016. Edit: You can end up liking or disliking the actual anime series in the end, but just saying what anime is you started because of the opening theme is fine. |

| Interesting thread, this always happened to me every time. I have so many titles in my mind. But I think it was Re: Creators. Gravitywall caught me up at that time even though the anime not as hot as the opening song. Also, Fate/Zero's opening encourage me that day to watch it and it became one of my favorite anime. |

| I legit picked up about 20% or so of my list purely on OP alone. I love OtakuDream's stepmania packs and seeing the OP (or EDs) got me interested in many series that I eventually completed. The most recent one's that come to mind are Scrapped Princess, Mai-HiME and Mai-Otome. I know I picked up Maid Guy and Kanokon for this reason as well. I'd have to actually look to remember them all. I'm a real sucker for OPs/EDs to the point I sometimes rewatch series' specifically because I got the OP stuck in my head. I blame starting out back when fansubs were the norm and we had really fancy karaoke. I'd pass the time singing along and memorising songs between downloads or releases. |

| Overlord was one that I picked pretty much only because opening is good. Show was mediocre, haven't gotten past season one for now. I also got to know of Steins;Gate, Death Parade and Blue Exorcist because of their openings, but in the end watched them because the synopsis' sounded good too. Ended up liking all 3 a lot :) |

| I'm gonna say Duvet from Serial Experiments Lain. I already knew the song pretty well before I started, but knew nothing about the anime. That song btw is really good. I guess I could say Attack on Titan as well because literally everyone and their dog knew that song even if they'd never heard of anime. |
| Actually not because of the opening, but I started to watch Madoka Magica cause i loved the ending. I'm big fan of Kalafina and Magia is one of my fav songs from them. Oh and Break Blade, because of the opening as well. Similar fashion, I'm fan of KOKIA and she did Fate. |

It was Nerima Daikon Brothers OP This op hooked me immediately and some positive reviews also baited me to watch it. However, this anime turned out to be average at best. | Busou Renkin easily. I once saw a parody of Fate/stay night that used the opening of the series and I fell in love with such banger. I finally discovered the anime to which the opening belonged to, so I proceeded to watch it, knowing that, even if I didn't like it, at least I could hear the song through 26 episodes (I ended liking Busou Renkin, btw). |

| Watched the OP of Kantai Collection and loved it. Thank goodness I did because the ED is even better. I played an Osu! map of White Album 2 before becoming a big anime watcher and got into it from there. |

| I randomly came across the mirai nikki op on YouTube and that's actually how I got into anime. Higurashi and zetsubou sensei had good opening so I looked into them. I'm sure there are more but my memories are hazy. An good op will just make me do some research to see if I would be interested, but I don't pick up shows just because of the op. |

| Gakkougurashi's opening made me curious about what was under the hood. I knew it had a gimmick, but I didn't read the synopsis or anything closely enough to know exactly what the gimmick was, and I'm glad I didn't. Some others are Blend S, Hinako Note, and Koufuku Graffiti. |

| I'm gonna say at least 50% of the anime I end up watching are because of the OPs - nothing like a great song to get me into a great show. Some notable examples of shows I probably wouldn't have picked up otherwise are Blend S, Code Geass, Cop Craft, Megalo Box, and Shield Hero. |
