| Everybody knows that herbivores are the right ones and the wrong carnivores, will you be the protagonist holding your instinct? (This is even a cool point). But worst of all is a school that mixes carnivores and herbivores, so of course you will see conflict, shit and badly used soundtrack, moments that is to be tense gets a little shit because instead of playing a soundtrack that matches the scene, they put on an elevator song. As much as animals have killer instinct I can not defend a carnivore, in short I will not be able to take this anime seriously, or I will not be able to watch without anger, this episode 1 was very dull, it is not worth it to keep watching, I knew I was going to find shit, I don't even know why I went to see kkkkkkkk. If it's going to get better I don't know, but this first ep was a lot of shit (the ending was really cool) |

| Holy crap this was amazing!!!! At the end when Legoshi's instincts took over and the episode ended I was like WTF!!! this flew by!! Damn I didnt think this anime would be this good but man I am looking forward to this series now. And that Opening song was a banger! |

| I'm a fan of the manga and have read it three times already, it never gets boring. When I saw the first PV, I was worried. Then I saw the 10 minute preview on YouTube and was more impressed and this final product was amazing. As someone who gets nitpicky with CGI and laughed at the CGI even in one of my favorites: Vinland Saga and had to go through tortuous CGI in Berserk (HAHAHAHA), I was very impressed by how well-made this was. I noticed in certain scenes they would use 2D like when Louis was squeezing that goat's face and when the other animals were eavesdropping on the convo between Kai and Louis. I like everything. The ED song, which MIGHT be the OP was fucking awesome too. I loved the voice acting, the colors, etc. Gonna be honest, I might be biased since it is one of my fave series and I have been more excited about this than Boku no Hero S4 or even No Guns Life. I heard lots of people are sleeping on the series because it contains romance but they don't know what kind of story they're missing out on. For those bothered by the CGI, a lot of Anime are incorporating CGI nowadays and it's better to stick with the manga because there are some differences. Also, if CGI is a huge factor for someone then just drop the series. No one's forcing them to watch anyway. TL;DR: Fan of the manga and the Aime: Great animation, great soundtrack, awesome voice cast and will watch it to the end. If you're bothered by CGI, either try and give it a chance for a few episodes or drop it entirely. |

| From the first 5 minutes, I expected it to be a psychological anime with a classist view. I began with an open mind, but unsure about how well the fragile concept would be handled. After the last minute, I maintain that it's taking a classist view, and I was more than impressed with the psychoanalysis of the narrative and differentiating narrative voices. I'm looking forward to the next episode. |

| This seems pretty fucking interesting so far, and pretty damn good. CG was definitely distracting but not bad, hopefully this show can keep this quality up. Might just have to pick up the manga. I think it's safe to wager that this is going to be one of the better anime of the season. Quite surprising. |

CG-anime can indeed be a hit-or-miss, but Orange has clearly put a lot of thought into how to best utilize the potential of CG here in Beastars, with some very clever compositions in Ep1. This is definitely not a bad CG anime in a technical point of view. It's fine for people to prefer hand-drawn animation. | My God, the OP song is catchy as hell, such a banger! Well, as expected from Orange, the CGI in this show is superb. Obviously, not at the level of "Houseki no Kuni" in terms of fluency but it's still quite impressive. And on a side note, I'm already loving the OST so far. The use of jazz in some of the tracks is definitely of my liking. Overall, it was a quite good first episode. Can't wait for the next one! |

| This is yet another step to a future where CGI anime are not only accepted but anticipated! The ONLY problem I have with Orange's CGI is the occasional low framerate, but I'd say that's due to lack of resources. The characters were charming, the directing was inventive and interesting, and the use of CGI actually elevated some scenes, much like Land of the Lustrous. They are using the medium to its utmost potential, and I love that. Hope Beastars keeps it up 8/10 |

| Was really interested in watching this show, I would eventually read the manga... I expected to like the series, I didnt expect to love straight from the start! CGI implemented so well, also with those drawn backgrounds, beautiful art. Just really love the mood of Beastars already, having them all animals was already different, but then just superb executionand animation. Blown away, time for that manga! Ocalino said: The framerate is scuffed but other than that it's absolutely awesome. (Never thought I'd use cgi and awesome in the same sentence) Knights of Sidonia, High Score Girl or Houseki no Kuni. All examples of greatly implemented CGI. |
