Ryuma can use haki confirmed! Queen is making a mistake,he just makes Luffy stronger by training his armament haki.Big Mom is coming for O-shiruko in prisoner mine,Queen is going to fight two Yonko lol.Zoro fight was badass from 2vs1 to 1vs1.

At this point, i don't know what Queen is trying to do. It seems like he's enjoying it, but obviously Luffy is pretty strong and the only one who actually poses threat to him in the prison is Queen. He's pretty confident, so maybe taking off the cuffs wasn't a big deal?

Finally Zoro is getting some action. The dude he's fighting with looks cool.

I think the woman is Komuraskai. She's protecting Toko, so maybe Toko is Hiyori?

Great chapter overall

The color spread looks lovely, I'm sure all the fans appreciate Nami and Robin's poses.
Oh my God, I thought Oda neglected how Rayleigh used Armament Haki back when he was demonstrating it to Luffy and instead changed substituted it to the black hardening thing, Oda you genius, we never expected that we were having a glimpse on a high-level practice of Haki that we won't reference in ten years later.
To O-Linlin's luck, Udon looks like it's filled with O-Shiroku, Queen is going to be in a hard position.
I'm crying right now, you Mad man Oda, after all these years, we finally know so much, the country of Gold, Shusui BECOMING a black blade (Confirming Mihawk's words on any sword can become black), and more building to Ryuma.
Finally, Zoro slicing some degenerates, I can't hold my excitement, we've been debating on who Zoro was going to end up fighting, it was both the manslayer and the warrior criminal, The anime better do this fight justice or Imma riot.
As I thought, Komurasaki is alive, either her or Kyoshiro have a hypnotizing Devil Fruit. Zoro taking in that hit and smiling like a badass put me on a critical state of hype I started screaming out of nowhere. One Piece is fire this week.

In last chapter, Nami, Robin and the old ninja lady (I forgot her name tbh) is shown to be rescued by Sanji. I think the woman with o-toko is Komurasaki itself and she knows something about Three sword style. Her surprise was more like "Is it the three sword style I know about !!?" rather than "How can he use 3 swords !!?"

Can't wait for O-Lin to go ham or to prove herself as the extremely powerul wildcard she actually is in any other way :D

So after Whole Cake Island where Luffy improved his Kenbunshoku Haki, it's finally time for the Busoshoku one. Wano and the tons of physically strong fighter we got here are actually like tailor made for that task. G4 with improved armament ? Picture me hyped just over that thought. And Hyogo is affiliated with Rayleigh or does he actually just know him by name like 99,99% of the worlds population ?

Coming to Zoros storyline, unquestionable one of the most interesting in this arc and it raises many questions. Are his ancestors really from Wano ? Can his Wado Ichimonji and Kitetsu also turn permanently into Black Swords and give him a power up ? In any case, I'm looking forward to get some answers. Meanwhile we got to enjoy some typical Zoro badassness.

Lol, it was so hilarious when Komurasaki and Toko came calling for help against Kawamazou. I dunno about his level, but Zoro had rather easy game with him and now we can cross out one person from the list of potential canditates for the 9 Red Scabbards.

The build up in this arc has been awesome so far.

One Piece episode 914 & 915 & 1027 were a mistake and 957 brought the salvation - FMmatron

Looking forward to Luffy getting his advanced Busoshoku Haki. Zoro I hope to see more of him in action. Wano was a country of Gold? Oh dear me. And we all knew Ryuma was the most respected legendary warrior or samurai, but dang it is good to see the warrior monk honoring him. Though it sucks that he is a Samurai warrior trying to hit Zoro when he is open. But that is a way to win in any battle. Anyways looking forward to the next chapter.

I thought Zoro and Gyukimaru were gonna have a full on fight but I guess not lol. I can only imagine how annoying it must have been for Zoro to constantly be attacked while fighting Kamazou, like bruh, read the room lol. It's nice though to finally get more Zoro action.

People on MAL refuse to actually enjoy watching anime.

Most of us were guessing that this arc Luffy would learn "awakening". Instead his armament haki is getting stronger. He can still get other power-ups of course, but I definitely like where this is going.
The way Luffy's training is set up with that "tournament" is pretty awesome imo. It's a smooth way to get stronger, and I can't say it's a cheap idea to get him strong like that. Hope to see him getting better at that haki, too.

I always wondered why Zoro's sword was purplish/blackish. So if I get it right, there's a way to turn any sword black, making it stronger. Maybe Zoro's going to turn his "main sword" black sometime in the near future.

Zoro being attacked while having a 1v1 fight seemed funny, even if it was a serious fight.

Have to disagree, Oda has been infamous for skipping fights and scenes:
Skipping Sanji vs Page One;

He made an oke-doke with Robin getting ALL of Orochi's info;

Zoro has been wandering aimlessly offscreen up to this (In a weird attempt to boost LGBT pride no less);

He skipped explaining how exactly did Nami, Robin and others excape from Orochi nad Kyoshiro;

(Something I disagree with but other people have been saying for the longest): Big Mom and all of her crew lost to the Pterodon, because Oda doesn't want to draw Kaido vs Big mom pirates. And she was humiliated; not mentioning the fact that she should have died but didn't, she was completely submerged in water.

Jack and Yokozuna have been a joke.Cool looking designs, but still a joke.

The Prison serves only to train Luffy, Luffy has been owning everyone inside it so far.

Therefore, many disappointments so far.

On the flip-side Sanji has been purely amazing, I liked the Hawkins fight and him shining in this arc, Luffy vs Kaido was great and now we get this insane Zoro fight.

Imo this arc still needs more amazing things (aka Marines coming)

Oda stated this arc will be better than Marineford :S Is the stuff I mentioned above worthy of "Arc better than Marineford" title? Not sure.

I dislike the convenience of oshiruko being at the prison because it happens to be Queen's favorite food. Good to see Zoro fighting again but I don't think that's Komurasaki with Toko but one of the other geisha's that was at the castle.

I'm so glad Oda addressed Rayleigh's armament haki and now Luffy is going to get an upgrade in his haki by attempting to train it to such high levels. Sounds like the next logical step.

Some Zoro action was much needed and always appreciated. Him taking on 2 enemies at once was impressive before switching to 1v1. Kamazo the killer was a decent foe for Zoro to practice on. Seeing him use the scythe in his mouth to make up for not having Shusui was amazing. Just felt like Zoro got hit a bit easily, but then again he did have to avoid a cheap shot before the attack. I felt like he could've blocked that hit maybe, but I guess for plot sake so he could take Kamazos weapon and use it against him. Maybe I'm just underestimating Kamazo too much, but my boy Zoro handled it. That smirk before attacking was so sinister. Loved it.

So finally we confirmed that Rayleigh ki blast is indeed superior armament haki. Same type that the Admirals used to stop Edward´s attack back in Marineford.

Now that we know that Ryuma "made" Shusui that way, I wonder if Zoro will end up "making" Wado Ichimonji into a Kokutou/Black Sword.

He was talking about the climax of Wano being better, not that every chapter would be Marineford level.

Thats why Wano is structured like a play, a few acts are used to introduce the cast, exploring the country and recruiting allies, while the climax act will be action heavy.

I'm pretty sure Momonosuke's sister would be an adult by now, that said Komurasakai could be his sister and she's probably not dead.

I am talking about how well done things that shown is. Not things that are skipped. It is sad that things are skipped, but it is necessary so one piece actually complete one day (I wish Oda didn't skip anything and one piece continued for decades though)

You have a point about Big Mom pirates looking incompetent, but one piece has always been non serious. Also, she didn't drown because she came the same way Luffy has (exactly how will likely be explained later with reveal of actual geography of Wano)
