| WTF? Like seriously WTF! That in no way shape or form ends the show! It's not even a bad ending, it's like someone cut out the last three or four episodes from existence. It didn't even elude to a sequel that it doesn't even plan on making. I expected more, but I'm disappointed yet again. : ( |

| Whoah, I've always considered this way to end an anime an option(even if a second season is never to come), but this is the first time I actually see it with my eyes. And just like I expected, it's still way better than a convoluted Original Ending. I'll give this an 8/10 because even the complete lack of an ending feels better than the disappointment the rushed close-ups usually bring. |

| This wound up being one of those animes that I enjoyed tremendously at its outset, but lost enthusiasm for as it progressed. The plot line got a bit too convoluted with too many poorly fleshed out characters and factions. I really couldn't remember who was on whose side and which of the four families was which. I'd have liked it better if it had had a smaller cast to focus on. Good series overall, but not as good as I'd hoped it would be after watching the first couple of eps. |

| Cliffhanger ending in the middle of a fight. 4/10 for the series as a whole. 6 if it gets 2nd season. As it stands now, there's nothing resolved, no plots closed, no characters fully developed and nothing properly explained. As a matter of fact, last episode just opened new questions. It's bloody Lost all over again. And I hated Lost. |
| Lol so many things were left open, I heard that the studio that did this went bankrupt so I wonder if there was another season being planned when they had that ending in mind. I enjoyed the series and wish there was more, especially with the lack of Nico (and Worick) in the last few episodes and then with that ending. Maybe I'll really need to jump onto the manga. |
| I hate the fact that I forgot that this show was unfinished, with about two episodes to go I suddenly realized there is no way this show could tie everything up in such a small time frame and so it proved. Even so Gangsta still feels like a show with a misplaced identity, you get the feeling it wants to be Black Lagoon but does a quite poor job of placing the groundwork for that to work. The City is name dropped every now and then but I could never remember it, and why would I? It's a very bland City with zero character. Then the 4 Fathers supposedly in a power struggle? well I guess but we don't really see what power they are fighting to obtain and neither do we really see either gain or lose anything substantial. The most apparent case of misplaced Identity is the Twilights inclusion. For a show that wanted to be a gritty underworld the mere inclusion of this supernatural-ish fighters with their own silly ranking system was just disappointing. I didn't come to this series for Shonen tropes like that, I came for the grit and that was lacking. Gangsta as a name is a pretty bad representation of what this series actually is. But after all was said and done and to the surprise of anyone who bothered to read my comment thus far this series is actually not that bad, flawed most definitely but it was entertaining. While the city was bland I liked the character designs, the soundtrack was good and I really liked Worick and Nicolas. I enjoyed their backstory and their friendship and in their own ways both their personalities shone through. I liked Worick's ability and Nicolas being portrayed as death in a realistic fashion was also cool. Finally while again it's certainly flawed I'am somewhat curious about where the story was going, there are so many threads and I would certainly have enjoyed watching them all be tied up. Unfortunately seems incredibly unlikely will ever get the sequel series but I do genuinely what to know what's going to happen. So I begrudgingly gave this series a 7, it's not deserved as a stand alone series but clearly this was meant to have a sequel and should it ever get one I would watch it. It shouldn't forgive the flaws but for me personally it goes someway to doing that. Also finishing the series in less than 24 hours is also worthy of praise as the show definitely garnered my attention. I was engaged throughout and that's to the shows credit. |

| I can't say I loved how this series started, nor how it "ended" but it was surprisingly entertaining peaking into their everyday lives There's a recap episode, hopefully that will truly tie up loose ends if not, I don't think I'd mind reading the manga |

| ah man I really wanted to see how this Striker guy was going to fight Nick, he seemed like a good opponent for him. Worick is not the combat type he is a lover after all no wonder he got wacked, but I don't think he is dead yet. Damn this incomplete anime, I was really into it and the ending was insufficient with the war still continuing. Anyway if there is a studio out there that can finish this anime would really make lots of people happy especially me. 8/10. |

| Uhh, the action this episode was great, but all throughout I was thinking "how are you going to be able to finish the story at this pace?!" Well ... I guess they weren't planning on it O_O The fight scenes were well done and the music was bomb, but seriously, WTF was that ending with Worick on the ground and NO CONCLUSION WHATSOEVER?! Yeesh ... too bad, I think this show could have gone a lot better :( Overall, this show had a strong beginning, but really tailed off towards the middle and end. Art and animation quality definitely suffered as well, and it was a bit difficult to keep track of all the characters, but the ones I remembered were interesting. Music was very good. Just kind of a shame that the ending was so ... non conclusive at doing anything really, which really knocked it down enjoyment wise for me. A really interesting world too but we didn't get to see enough of it IMO ... and at times I really felt like they had no idea what to do lol. Was going to give this a 7 but with this ending yeah, gotta knock it down to a 6/10 >_< |

| So since this was the last TV series Manglobe did, I assumed they simply ran out of money at around episode 8 when the quality dropped? With that in mind the "ending" didn't seem all that surprising. A real pity, this started off quite great, but I guess business reality got in the way as so often. 5/10 |

| I'm shocked how that ended. I hate when things feel so unfinished. And after 4 years and what happened to Manglobe I have almost no hope for a second season which is pretty sad because I liked Gangsta a lot. The dark atmosphere, the characters, the music, everything fit very well. So much questions are left. I want to see what will happen now. I'm not really a manga reader, but maybe I have to check it out. Maybe with a miracle an studio will give this a chance with a second season. |

| Man, what a let down. I'm a bit disappointed knowing that season 2 may not be possible for now. I kind of agree with the above posts. When they show Alex's background story, I think that "yo, we don't need it for now, we need those bastards get what they deserved". Everything is open Cristiano san is a badass and the antagonists are too strong. So maybe I'll read the manga to see what will happen. |

| Well knowing that there won't be a next season really sucks but what can we do except reading the manga which I probably won't, anyway it was a really good show at the first half the quality dropped for me in second part which is a bit of a shame cause this show had the potential to do a better job. gonna miss Nic and Blondie a lot... 7/10 |
| This anime really hurt my soul because it would've easily been an 8 or 9 maybe even a 10 for me if it just got a real ending but I still enjoyed this journey despite the painful ending. I'm sad I can't recommend it to my friends though :( if only it got a real ending. Overall this show get's a 7/10 from me. |

| Holy fuck, what a mess of an ending, the cliffhanger is greater than one would expect, it's gotta be physically blue balling the shit out those who have been watching back in 2015! Many unknown crap is going on...
If there's one thing that's remotely good about this ep, it's seeing Loretta's compassionate conviction to stay true to her father's code to protect her family, her subordinate. That right there is a bold and charismatic proclamation, worthy of a leader of a great family. The manga may properly continue and put an end to the many questions that were left alone in this anime's ending, but that's the manga, it has nothing to do with the anime besides being the source, especially that despite almost 6 years have passed since this ep aired, S2 is nowhere in sight... Yare yare, what a fucking clusterfuck, just another day in Ergastulum I guess? |
