Should it get an anime reboot, or remake, with the manga ending? Since the anime has its own original ending.

Despite how I like the series overall, and others have proclaimed that, the ending, seems to be not the same as the manga, because the conclusion isn't done yet, whereas the anime draw its own conclusion, I think the anime stands on its own in this kind of stuff... I still haven't seen the manga, since it's on-going as far as I checked...

If a remake will be made, OVA is what it's going to be.

The Manga is over and the ending was better then the anime yes but there was quick pacing in the last 20 chapters however that did not fill a lot of gaps as the author had the end it soon when the anime did not make enough merc sales. If they do reboot it I would love to see it fill gaps the author left.

I would like to say yes tbh I really loved the anime

(even though the ending was anime exclusive)

Although I know the VA of Mine in the dub Christina Kelly said and I quote (\from the comment she made on twitter a while ago (August 16th 2016)

"So I just read that there's a possibility Akame Ga Kill will get a reboot!! Hope it's true!"

again she doesn't know ether but it'd be nice if it does :) (imo)

although if it does or doesn't I own up to vol 9 of Akame Ga Kill (which is currently out in pshical copies atm and of course going to buy the rest as they come out like I always do) and the DVD's and this is what I usually do if the endings or anything wise is different think of it as an alternate universe

(but that's just me)

All the Anime's on my list are all one's I own Personal physical copies of, or have seen in theaters that I plan on buying, series that I've watched on FUNimation or HIDIVE will not be on here unless/until I have already bought it.

I say no. The anime ending wasn't all that different from the manga ending. There were differences, but different enough to get a re-boot? Nope.

No, the manga pretty much ends the same way since the author helped with the anime.

I actually liked this adaptation, so I'm gonna say no, it doesn't need a remake or a reboot.

I wouldn't mind a reboot since there are scenes in the manga I want to see animated
but Esdeath’s death won't be as beautiful as it was in the first anime if they fallow exactly as the manga went

but it would be totally be worth it to see Tatsumi x Mine and Wave x Kurome in anime form

It's not good enough to deserve a reboot.

But the original anime adaptation was fucking trash (THEY FUCKED OVER THE ART SO BAD AND THE FIGHT SCENES WERE HORRIBLY ANIMATED to the point they used fucking portraits instead of actual fight moves.)

Nah, anime adapted the manga more or less faithfully until the 19th episode and the manga ending wasn't that different except for a few points, it would be a waste to do a reboot.

Nah. They already blew it, and the original manga isn't that special either. Plenty of great things that could better use that reboot.

They kinda fucked up the manga in the last 10-15 chapters too so it doesn't seem that worth it to me (though the epilogue itself was good)

Nope. The manga is about as mediocre as the anime adaptation was, so there's little to no purpose in making another adaptation that's barely an improvement.

What really needs a remake, is Berserk. Preferably by base studio Madhouse, and no ugly CGI please.

Not really? For the most part the anime adapted most of the content of the manga until episode 18, which from 19 and onwards it went original. But maybe if they made a remake I would probably hope maybe to do some arrangement to the original script of the series since both counter parts are weak in that regard (more on the writing and characters if anything some tweaks in the narrative could make it work)

You are all talking about the ending, like there is nothing else the anime "forgot".
The whole questline about wave and the wild hunt part.

Some of you manga readers forgot the fight about bolic (that religious guy).
Where susanoo (really) died. That was a huge fight, and so on, so why are you all talking ONLY about the end of the series, there is so much i could talk about

10-15 episodes more in the anime

theres enough stuff to reboot this anime not only "the other ending"

I think they should give it a reboot and fix a relationship mine x tatsumi remove it wave x kuromae (sorry terrible spelling) is great dont change that and the whole akame can't love thing is bullshit but if you reboot it (and do it right) I feel like it could be a 9/10 or even a 10/10

Probably yes, it needs a reboot... But that goes, if they reboot it from the point it started to take a different turn from the manga (maybe from the part that showed Mine's fate in the anime), because if they reboot it from the beginning, it will be pointless, since it wasn't much different from the manga in the first arcs (as much as the difference between ''FMA'' and ''FMA: Brotherhood'', for example)!
Now, if you think that it should be rebooted from the start with a better animation, well... that will be too good to be true!

Nah. I really liked it 1-2 years back and thought it was good at first but then it went downhill due to the author going overboard with killing the characters. Later on, I only read it for the art and to see how it will end. The manga ending is still better though.

The manga art was generic and bland at first then the artist greatly improved. Now the art looks great.

The Akame ga Kill anime for me felt very rushed and added fillers near the end of the second half. Reading the manga, I admit some things aren't any different than the anime, such as the stupidly evil minor antagonists, the archetypal main characters, and gore. But some main characters do live on to serve a better role than their anime counterparts and there is slightly more character development (such as some Jaeger members questioning their allegiance), and improving relationships.

It is possible that a reboot will at least have some development for the plot and character unique to the manga, though I know a fair amount of people will not like it that much since it's nothing too insightful.

I don't see why people say the anime is much different then manga the anime skip the entire wild hunt ark and the ending are completely different *spoilers* Tatsumi body turns into incursio body, and wave has two Imperial arms he has his normal one and Ran and Leoni body turns into the danger Beast that is made out of but still dies and akame sister imperial arms gets destroyed by wave then he confesses his feel and mine live to

From watching the whole series at least 2 times. It was a bit eh since I have seen better productions however it could use a reboot either completely from start or to finish off what was left of the original productions series.

i just finished this manga, didn't watch the anime yet.
a friend of mine said only last 4 episodes are different from the manga and wild hunt arc is practically unadaptable.
some source i read also said this anime lost popularity in Japan after Mine vs Budo fight.
and both the prequel and sequel manga didn't sell well.
so i think this series is pretty much dead, a bit sad though since i like it.
i hope in the future there will be another edgy shounen like this but less flaws.

No, the manga was shit. Anime was perfect! Chelsea doesn't get justice in manga as Kurome who mercilessly slaughtered Chelsea gets to live happily with wave. In the anime, at least Akame mercilessly kills Kurome.

I think Akame ga Kill should get an overall reboot with better writing, because neither the anime nor the manga (as far as I read) have come close to living up to the potential they had with the strong ideas and concepts presented. It's pretty obvious that Takahiro wasn't a very experienced writer when he wrote AgK and was more focused on killing underdeveloped characters off for the sake of shock value, since he did improve quite a bit from that series to Yuuki Yuuna, I'd like to see how a SAO Progressive equivalent to Akame ga Kill would play out.
Who are you and why do you show your hostility towards a complete stranger whom you've not once spoken with before. Are you seriously asking to get blocked? Well, if that's what your intent is; to tempt me into throwing hands with someone as lowly and insignificant as you, then i may grant your wish provided you articulate yourself a bit better when trying to spite a person of my wavelength.
