Jack the Loli/Loli the Stripper/Token the Loki/whatever the shit is finally dead.

I don't like Higa's concept on Jack, Narita literally just stomped him with how he handled Jack in SF until now and yeah, I can't really see Jack the Loli as a good idea of how you should adapt Jack's legend anymore.

But even if I don't like them, this doesn't mean that A-1 should just ignore Jack's prologue.

Without it, their death is just "yay one down", like, if you are going to use two episodes for RECAP, use one of them to make the prologue?? Like, it's not really hard but then again it's A-1 what did I expected.

time for my boy shirou to make the show good again (and then sieg destroys it again)

oh yeah there is also atalanta right

I forgot that she existed

again

I remembered a phrase I think is from Iskandar: "The fight at the end, no way is the to turn back, but, the answer is obtained." Anyway, unnecessary and annoying episode, grotesque, ugly expressions of the characters. Bad animation, could be better.

I can shed some light on Atlanta's breakdown, in the end they are Heroic Spirits so they are more or less summoned concepts coming with their memories, I mean Atlanta is the summoned heroic concept of the lady archer, but heroic spirits only answer the grail's call if they have a wish to fulfill. In Atlanta's case her raison d'etre was to save the children, Jack's Hougo was a mental attack, and a display of hell, while it resonated with Sieg fairly well it was most effective on Atlanta, for the fact it was child based sympathy gaining, in addition to corrupting the nature of people by forcing choice, sacrifice the children or sacrifice yourself, which for Heroic spirits is a deadly choice in regards to their nature as "Heroic" beings that protect the innocent. In Atlanta's case she can't sacrifice the children, it would betray her raison d'etre, compromising her on a fundamental level which in a way it would have if Jeanne hadn't intervened.

Moving forward, with regards to purification of Jack, doesn't mean they can't be summoned again, it will just be another set of souls that were lost during the time period. Kids died by the crapload due to smog during that time period.

Finally, I ship Sieg x Ruler, date episode was nice I mean he offer ruler his body, this was better Ruler was Jelly.

Jeanne continuing to be top tier waifu as always.

Was great when she was getting close with Sieg and then Archer shows up to say he's leaving and she gets all embarrassed.

Even better when Astolfo joined back up with them and hugged Sieg and she got visibly jealous.

Jack was given the judgement as if it was God's intention. Really sad she never got the love she wanted and when she did get it only to be taken away.

After all this confrontation I really think Chiron's gotta take on both Atlanta and Achilles at the same time for what awaits is only despair.

Btw is this the "Be careful of who you call handsome in highschool" meme?

getting tired of Astolfo, I hope he died soon.

is it just me or Ruler are more likely to sided with Black Faction each episodes?

up until now I still curious about Shirou strength. to be the master of all Red Servant, he must be have tremendous amount of power in store.

Even on death Jack is still full of surprises. Its nice that Atalanta gets to be one of the focuses for this episodes as she's one of the most interesting servants in this series. Jack's memory though sure was bleak. Ironic that Jack's being hunted in her own dream by Ruler though. Jack's tricks though sure were interesting. So this world was created from the memories of all those children's suffering then. Its good that the children also chose to let Ruler end their suffering there though. The release of the children's souls though was pretty sad. Its surprising to see Atalanta be affected that much from the children though. Enough in that she lost all of her trademarked calmness to instead become an archer of wrath. Ruler really has a strong will though. Interesting episode that expanded on Atalanta's backstory and her development. Ruler's development was also well done.

Another great episode, this one really hit my heart.

Jeanne and Atalanta dialog was great, showing us different views and sides on death.

Next episode we should start slowly to go toward final battle. Cannot wait for it...

Lame backstory on Atlanta, tbh. They clearly put 10x more effort into Jeanne than her. But then they trash Ruler's character with the unnecessary romance.

I enjoyed Caster of Red's appearance at the end. We never see him, yet he is my favorite.

Well, take in mind Gilles wasn't the most stable person of the cast. I don't blame him for confusing his waifu with Seibah... Though Jeanne's boobs are bigger.

Also Gilles is Jeanne's counterpart to Lancelot, hence why they look rather similar. In Fate Grand/Order, Berserker Lancelot also goes after Jeanne mistaking her for Arturia.

So... Sieg just learned how beautiful the world is, then a minute later he saw the world is a hell.

Also, in this episode, Jeanne/Ruler is quite expressive. Especially when Chiron landed while Sieg and Jeanne are holding hands, then, the jealousy when she saw astolfo and his(?) master together. Damn, that's hella cute :3

Not forgetting, breaking the 4th wall? Well done, Shakespeare

Overall great episode. 8.5/10 maybe

Lol Archer of Red, could you get any more dumb and pathetic??

Suddenly Jack is a victim and we should feel sad about her, even though she brutally killed dozens, if not hundreds, of people.

Well, her anger is justified, I understand people won't like how she acts, but her actions are influenced by her way of thinking. She was abandoned as a child for being a girl and not a boy, she grew up thinking that ALL the children shouldn't suffer and all must have the chance to be saved. For Atalanta, What Ruler did was mass murdering a lot of children souls who actually were victim of the era they lived. Even if Ruler couldn't do 'anything' to save them, she still believes she could do something for them.
It wasn't about saving Jack, it was about saving children.

She hates ruler because she has the title of 'saint' and it's a title that can has it's concept very twisted, and by Atalanta concept of 'Saint' Jeanne could and should had saved the children.

Besides that, she's an animal, literally a Lion and she's probably also being very aggressive because of this.

But yeah, no matter how much I love Atalanta, I think her anger could had been managed and portrayed in a better way so people could understand and empathize more her feelings.

I enjoyed Jack the Ripper's noble phantasm for what it was but yea... the whole idea to make her a Loli was doomed for failure especially when her character and storyline felt like filler or side-story to the main plot line. Truly the worst part about Jack storyline that other than some fodder, no one important died of her storyline. IF at the very least Fiore died last episode or at the Red archer got killed in this episode because she happened to run into the enemy servant... no none of that. Other than some character development, the story and situation did not change at all.

One thing for sure though I am sure disappointed in Red Archer... like I remember seeing her image on pixiv or somewhere and I sure liked her just from design alone but thanks to this series my likenesses of her sure dropped a lot.

I never liked Atalanta before this episode and less now. Jack the Loli is a murder, i don't feel anything no matter how much sad music and cliché flashbacks show me. Again, no Mordred in this episode. 2/5

i don't mean to defend this since Chiron should've been able to catch her, but when it comes to Astolfo, Atalanta has a higher agility stat than him, and her being able to outrun him ties into her lore actually

to begin with, Atalanta is huntress who grew up in the wilderness, and after she was found by her father and he wanted her to marry, she agreed to marry any man who could outrun her in a footrace, a lot of men failed and were killed, until one day some guy threw apples for her during the race and she went dumbass mode chasing after them lol

holy shit that must of been an actual fucking nightmare for Atalanta, and the big ideal clash between her and Jeanne was some rough shit. Could tell they definitely went serious this time around, there is literally no way to portray 18th century industrial England in enough positivity for it to be "ok"
ahhh tough shit for Seig this time round won't lie. Dudes still new to the world and one of his first experiences is witnessing the death rates of children in the 18th century, something i'm sure even someone now a days would find disturbing.
Also it's hard af not to hate humans lets be real, like half the shit we've done is from selfishness, or fighting each other, or exploring the earth for resources. But my poor poor summer child Seig, wait until you find out about the world wars! Oh yes, there was more then 1 :)
