 The 13th compiled volume of comedy manga Teekyuu has announced that the TV anime series will receive a ninth season to premiere this Summer. The volume will officially be released on April 12.The manga began its serialization in Comic Earth☆Star in February 2012 by Tsugeo Terada and Piyo. The first three seasons of the TV series were originally animated by MAPPA until studio Millepensee took over in 2015, animating the succeeding five seasons. I love how fast-paced and clever the humour is in this show, though I got the impression that the quality of the humour went slightly downhill in the last season compared to the earlier seasons. Nevertheless, I still look forward to the ninth season. Also, I would be totally down for another season of a show focusing on Nasuno. |
