Thanks for sending the form! :) So as soon as you click Add Manga, it gets uploaded automatically? That’s pretty quick, but I can see how it might be confusing. Do they give any feedback if an entry gets denied, or is it just a waiting game?

Edit: I just took a closer look at the denied entries posts, and couple of the Yuri I wanted to suggest is already there. which kinda sucks. But there are still others I want to add that aren’t listed, so it’s all good! :)

I see, for a request to add or upload something, that’s actually a pretty short turnaround time. It’s a shame they don’t send notifications when something gets denied, but I guess it makes sense, you only get notified if it’s approved. Still, it leaves you wondering whether it’s even been reviewed or just sitting there.

I’m actually planning to request some yuri manhwas and manga to be added soon, but I want to gather more information on them first. Your message has been really helpful to me! ^v^

Yeah, that makes sense. With the sheer volume of reports on Twitter, it's not surprising that some slip through or take longer to process. As for the MAL mod situation, I’m still fairly new to using MAL beyond just tracking my anime and manga or making friends. So please do tell me more about how the database submissions work! ^_^

I feel you lmao. It's the same case with my PTW list. Not to mention, I have other saved Plan to Watch anime titles on Instagram and in my Notes app. So yeah it's like an endless list at this point

Yeah, I’ve noticed that too! They’re really quick when it comes to handling spam bots and multi-accounts, which is great it shows they prioritize both speed and user experience. Unlike Twitter, where things tend to move much slower. :D

Yeah, I get that. Everything about their account seemed off, so assuming it was a bot made sense. If you’ve seen another one like this before, then it’s probably some pattern rather than just one random person. At first, I didn’t think it was a bot for some reason, but then I noticed the exact same message was sent to you, another user, and me. That’s when I was like, "Yep, this is definitely a bot."

The "find traffic lights" thing was a solid move. :D And even if they were real, reporting them wasn’t exactly wrong, considering how they acted. As long as you had fun with it, that’s what matters! I actually reported them too, and Community Moderator Kunii took care of it. I didn’t know MAL handled things that fast, that’s really impressive!

Hello, Kikugi. been I while since we last spoke how have you been :), I noticed that the user Haveslavelifee has been leaving insulting comments on both of our pages. It looks like they just created their account today and have been posting the same insult on at least three users' profiles, including ours. I’d recommend ignoring or reporting them, they’re just a troll wasting both their time and ours.
