If you like Yuri & CGDCT do feel free to friend request I'll be happy to discuss them or anything for that matter ദ്ദി(˵ •̀ ᴗ - ˵ ) ✧
★ I find myself reading yuri/GL mangas, manhwas, manhuas and Webtoons more than any other genre if I had to say my favourite Yuri mangas would be Come Rain or Shine, her tale of shim chong and Fragments of Love by Jin Takemiya although there is so much more Yuri manga that are really amazing.
I also enjoy mangas with themes of crime, psychology, gothic and dark, war, and underground markets.
★ When it comes to anime, I watch anything that catches my interest. However, I have a strong preference for horror, psychological, dark, and gothic stories with intriguing plots.
★ I think the xxxHolic series is an absolute masterpiece. From the storytelling to the incorporation of Japanese folklore and symbolism, every aspect is thoughtfully given a purpose to the series. The art and fashion are on a whole other level, making it truly something unique. :)
★ I have a similar passion for Soul Eater as I do for xxxHolic. Both are manga/anime series that stay true to their core themes. Every detail in these series serves a purpose, and there’s so much dedication to the setting, characters, and storyline that time seems to disappear while watching or reading them.
★ My guilty pleasure anime is Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt. It has just the right mix of sexy comedy and really nails the bimbo vibe for Panty and Stocking. It feels like it could’ve aired on Adult Swim with how much it resembles American cartoons.

Soul Eater has a lot of great characters, it's hard for me to like just one of them.
And you, do you like anyone else besides Liz? :]
They are still serializing and publishing in Japanese, but other spin-offs are complete. Observing the trend of the announcement of new anime, I think we might never be able to see a Season 3 anime or a Season 2 Twin anime, although it might be more possible if the manga ends. Indeed it's difficult for most of the works to have more than two seasons of anime, unless the work is really popular. Also, Yumeko's ultimate dream is to gamble with Kirari, but the anime adds a gamble between Kirari and Yumeko, which is pretty weird as it seems to downplay the atmosphere of the final gamble. I really don't know whether MAPPA would try to modify the plot regarding this, or simply just give up.
Kiwi is also a character that I like at first sight. I like her abilities (both the hidden and revealed stars ones), and one thing I really like about her is that she's unexpectedly mature. There's one 4-koma manga that I really like, in which Matama questions her on allowing Utena to mess around with magical girls, and Kiwi questions her back, asking whether she'll be jealous of Nemo's games. In my opinion, this reflects two things: (1) even if Kiwi hates magical girls, she still respects Utena's interest; (2) Kiwi knows that Utena is not really thinking of developing romantic relationships with the girls. She is interested in seeing them get stronger and not submit to evilness. Although being obsessive with Utena, Kiwi is not some stereotypical "perverted lesbian" characters you see in non-yuri works (those works that add lesbian characters for comical purpose rather that treating them seriously). On one hand, she's quite direct to Utena and is quite excited. On the other hand, she truly cares about Utena's feelings and keep her composure well.
But my favorite is Nemo. I have always had a preference for "straight man" characters, like Sayaka from KKG, Jonathan Joestar from Jojo and Yellow Diamond from Steven Universe. I love that she always get flustered and comments on the silly actions by her teammates. Another of my preference is character who has devotion to the one they love. That's why I appreciate her devotion and love to Matama. She tries her best to realize her idol dream, and often takes care of her. They argue very often, but the true feeling is revealed completely under special circumstances. The strong contrast between her and Matama is also interesting, like heights and bust sizes, personalities and tomboyish vs feminine (traditionally speaking). And usually when it comes to tomboyish or butch-like characters, many Japanese works tend to portray them as a consequence of tragedy, and make them more feminine and even get submissive to male characters, which I really hate as I also dress unfemininely. Some authors make these kind of characters just to emphasize that the male protagonists are alpha that they can conquer tomboyish characters. But this work is different and I love that the author makes Nemo submissive during intimacy. It fits her personality as being passive in romance, and gives quite a big surprise to audience, given that her companion shows much more skin than she does in previous episodes. She is shown submissive not because the author wants to disregard her tomboyishness, but because of both her personality and her desire to be loved by Matama.
What I like about Gushing Over Magical Girl is that although it's an erotica work, it does not make every women as super feminine people with unrealistic busts and hips. Indeed the girls have diverse bust sizes and body types, as well as tastes in fashion. On one hand the work is very bold and every time there're creative kinky things happening. On the other hand the relationships between characters are engaging and the battles are really cool (manga only. Sad that the anime doesn't do this part well enough). Characters are not like the ones from hentai, always thinking of taking advantages of others sexually. Instead they have their own morals and bottom lines, like Utena getting angry at Azul being submissive to her and Nemo not touching her friend's breast while she is sleeping.
Back to KKG. The games are really creative. I often see people compare Kaiji to KKG, saying the latter is bad. But to me they are viewing gambling from different perspectives, and there're some games that would definitely not be found from Kaiji, like the coupling game. To me Kaiji and KKG are works that cannot replace one another, and so are the other gambling works. Also, relationships are another important aspect of KKG. The Tower of Doors arc is really really good, and it's rare to see a seriously treated yuri moment within a manga talking about gambling and power, especially when one of the girls hate gambling!
