 The 17th issue of this year's Weekly Shounen Jump is announcing on Monday that Mizuki Kawashita's Ichigo 100% (Strawberry 100%) manga will receive a sequel. Titled Ichigo 100% East Side Story, the series will begin its serialization in Shounen Jump GIGA on April 28. Ichigo 100% was published for 19 volumes between February 2002 and August 2005. The series was published in English as Strawberry 100% by VIZ Media under the Shonen Jump Advanced imprint from July 2007 to October 2010; and was dropped after volume 14. The manga was adapted into a TV anime in Spring 2005, a special, and a four-episode OVA by studio Madhouse. Source: Magazine Scan |

| From the title, I would say that it might be about Aya since her name has the East in it. Though how exactly would it be a sequel if it's titled as a side story? Either way, looking forward to it. One of my first manga that I read and really loved it. |

Curious what it'll end up as Will definitely read this though; Ichigo 100% was like the 4th or 5th manga I ever read many years back and I'd still say it's one of the best romance manga out there Considering that the words "side story" are in the title though, I won't expect anything major |

| Welp... Not sure how to feel about this though... in one way I'm hyped because more Ichigo, but the other says that it had a perfect ending(for me) and I can only see it going to worse. Plus the East(reference to Toujou I guess) Side Story is bugging me. Or it will be an aftermath of how their lives went, or during the 4 years of the timeskip... | Well now o_O I remember trying to watch this so much years ago, but couldn't get into it, sadly. I think I just wasn't much a fan of harem/ecchi, enough to actually go seeking them out, so maybe that's why. I think I even recalled there being an Ichigo 100% reference in one episode of Bakuman while it was airing that piqued my interest a bit more, but I never got around to watching it. Anyway, that's pretty great news for the fans. I may try picking it up myself sometime then too |

| Shouldn't need to be a sequel. Nishino was end game because her character/relationship development with the MC was the strongest. It doesn't take a "shipper" to seeing why she was endgame. It was well written. Leave it alone All this says is the mangaka is weak will and bended to crazed shippers because the ending isn't what they wanted. Don't settle for some generic hamfisted harem ending |
