Mika's just a dumb pawn at this point. Sasuga, Inspector Shimotsuki AKA Queen of Hate. And Togane is evil because he is evil. Seems legit. I hope he pays for what he does to Akane's grandma ;_;

And speaking of her, how get that partner of Kamui the ear of Akane's grandma if supposedly Togane is trying to end with Kamui? Is that guy a double agent or this is just a plothole? I hope it gets solved in the rest of episodes.

There were HEADS AND ORGANS on their dinner plates

What a TOTALLY unexpected plot twist!
I knew it were to going to be organs since the moment Kamui says it was going to be the final plate. This season has been edgier than the first one, lmao.

Wow, I felt bad for both the dogs and Akane in regards to her grandma. This season has been better than I expected based on previous reviews, it's pretty intense, and while the main villain isn't as good (/a bit too similar), overall the series itself is still quite good.

15 years ago, we don't really know the way things were. Since the technologies to extract a brain from a living person were being developed, and were tested on Kamui, for all we know Sibyl wasn't as powerful as it is right now. Besides, the Panopticon was an alternative system proposed by the Ministry of Economy. It was being tested at the time, and one of the things it controlled while being tested was the traffic. It makes a lot of sense that if the amount of accidents is much higher than before, Panopticon would have been blamed. So its completely realistic for Sibyl to sabotage it like that to be the only one ruling society.

There are many reasons for wanting to create AA people artificially. Experimenting on how they work so they can deal with them, possibly add them to the Sibyl system, also human curiosity is another reason. You'd be surprised at all the kind of experiments that are done in real life.

About the Sibyl wanting to cloud inspectors thing... Well, Togane said in this episode that they killed the doctor because he knew too much. Probably the same reason all the other 5 inspectors had been clouded and killed by Togane over the years: they became a problem for Sibyl, they knew too much, etc.

They told Mika the truth because of her hue not raising much after knowing the AA secret and that Togane was her son. Since they eventually want to tell the truth to the people, testing it with an ideal citizen that doesn't get her hue clouded easily is an interesting experiment for them.

Also, Sibyl isn't apathetic to Kamui, it just can't tell the truth to their inspectors. They are waiting and dealing with the problem in their own way, trying not to look bad in the process.
And, more importantly, Kamui doesn't hold a grudge to Sibyl JUST because of the plane crash. They did something even worst, that was Misako Togane's experimenting on him, testing if the technologies they were developing were effective, and doing that massive surgery to test it out. That fact made him be completely left out of society. Not only the system didn't recognize him as an existent being, but every person he approached to, ran away because accepting that there is someone that doesn't even exist for Sibyl is like doubting the system itself, which is a reason to raise their psycho passes.
Once he found out the truth about why he was the way he is, he plotted this revenge, and probably wants to bring down Sibyl (for causing Hell's season and not recognizing him) as well as judging the actual people behind his surgery (that happens to be connected with the system itself, wonder if Kamui knows that).

i can't believe this nigga is trying to defend this crap season...lol

Also, let me get this straight. The Dominators and other such devices that check people's PP can't accurately determine Kamui's PP because he has other people's parts in him but for some reason it has no problem reading the 1 eye from an inspector he has in him as being completely legit....that makes no sense. Surely it shouldn't be able to read (and thus authorize use) properly either. Oh, and now they can track dominators locations? Why the fucking didn't they do that earlier?

Trash, this season is just straight up trash.

wow. i didn't even notice that.
-------
1. no-one - being a boy or girl - would have slumped around pretty much naked after coming right out of the shower. just no. if you want fanservice you shoud have done it from in the show. making a girl chill around naked??????? are we seriously this stupid to believe this???????????????????

2. i don't hate togane. he's one of the most invisible characters of the whole thing. he hasn't done a single freaking thing. his entire entity is useless. he's too much of an empty character to like or hate.

3. mika deserves everything she gets and more. SHE'S the one character i hate.

4. halfway in the episode, i realized that the police rushing to kirito was the single most useless thing in the entire ep. and here's why in one picture:

why the heck are they pointing their dominators at kirito's friend (it was nice kirito wasn't the only survivor tho) when they should know by the fact that he met kirito be possibly has his hue clear?

oh and look. HE HAS NO PASS THAT IS HIGH.

not only that, the police wasn't focused on finding kirito's friend, but kirito himself. WHY. YOU JUST CONFIRMED THAT HE CAN'T EVEN BE JUDGED. all you're going to do when you get there is stupidly and uselessly point those STUPID judging guns, and you'll get the same result - he'll walk right past you and you'll just stand there as he walks by. goshdangit these are some freakin stupid people.

Well, it's been a while since I watched this and made that comment, but I still think more or less the same way. And the fact that you believe your opinion on this season being crap is a fact, and that people trying to argue otherwise are wrong, is sad.

Togane is a super dangerous guy to all canines and grandmothers. Dam this is totally Mika's fault that the grandmother died because she decided to be nosy and now she's forced to follow Togane or hes gonna get rid of her.

There is never enough dakka.

Can someone explain what's the point of the plot ? I understand the motives of Kamui, but wtf is wrong with Sybil ? They know Kamui wants to somehow destroy Sybil, but the best thing they can do is to mess with their inspectors along with the enemy. It's like, you're sieged in a castle, and you destroy your own walls just because it's funny.
Yes, and the implication that Sybil doesn't want to just off Kamui because of ideological reasons doesn't sense, considering they offed Kagari to keep their secret in S1... Although he was criminally asymptomatic, so that does change things a bit on an ideological level, maybe. I just hope that the conclusion will try to make sense of the season as a whole.

It seems that Shimotsuki will be used by Togane. That dog beating scene was fucked up.

pd: I almost skipped the postcredits scene.

All weebs creatures of the galaxy, hear this message. Those of you who listen will not be struck by western animation. You will no longer know hunger, nor pain. Your Anime have come to lead you now. i am just v confused at this point lol. why is togane working with kamui??? if he was criminally asymptomatic as a kid, why does he have the highest crime coefficient now??

there has been so little character development this season >.> i thought it was weird that akane was so fixated on her grandma when she was never mentioned in s1, but i can see now they were just setting it up for her to die. idk i think 11 ep is way too short, that's probably part of the problem

oish, the more the story in this season get deeper, the more it get less sense.
i mean, they tried to do something super complex with that paradox at start, but at the end it seems sibyl doesn't care much for kamui but more for akane?

i'm not saying i hate this season, but i'm not founding it too much fascinating. i hope it end will be decent at least/

This is brilliant. Also probably unpopular but I love Tougane. Those are my favorite kinds of characters. Kamui is up there too, though I'll make my final decision once I see how it ends. Inspector Shimotsuki has finally become less insufferable.

Okay, while I can argue a lot with the execution of the ideas planted by the anime, I can at least accept the ideas it tries to explore are good enough, the whole omnipotence paradox with sybil would be cool to explore properly. Again, this anime tries to be smarter than what it really is, but I have had fun so far, even when not for the reasons the anime wanted me to.

Also, I didn't really like Nobuchika before, but it is a bit sad he hasn't shown to be the slightest bit useful even as an enforcer, he is not smart, he doesn't discover clues, he doesn't do anything at all, it feels he was fatedto be a background character all this time, not best boy Kougami either, and Akane already had her arc first season so she has not had any sort of growth this time. The enforces haven't had any growth either, even characters I identify a lot with like Shou haven't had their time to shine either. Psycho Pass first season is not perfect by any means, but I think it did try a bit more than this season.

Feels like all this episode did was try to shove the fact that the evil guys are evil down your throat. Togane quite literally murders puppies because that's how you remind the audience he's evil. Then we have Kamui serving people human heads on plates, randomly executing people and turning them into human chimeras. Also they killed Akane's grandma and chopped her ear off and gave it to Akane. At least have a bit of subtlety.

I'd like to think this would finally compel Akane to start considering killing people who absolutely deserve it, but she had a million opportunities to have that epiphany already.

So nothing happened to Mika then, meh. Too bad for the grandma but then again, I don't give a shit either, this season didn't do much to make me bond with her.

Anyways, goddamn I'm cringing so much with this season, they know that stupid gun doesn't work with those guys and they keep bringing the guns, like, what the fuck, are they really detectives? they just proved over and over again that the system is defective and can be tricked and they keep bringing the guns like idiots, like, whatever man, I'm glad this shit is almost over.

The opening scene with Mika applauding was hilarious, she was sucking up to save her own neck, but the chief and her son were both too mentally deficient to recognize it, thinking instead it was genuine. This whole show is a like satire now, like RoboCop except this anime is doing it ironically, thinking itself edgy and profound, when it's so stupid. When all the enforcers show up to the burning mansion, they all start getting sicken by the burning corpses inside which they shouldn't be able to see from that distance, it's like a crappier version of Demolition Man where the pathetic future cops were all throwing up after hearing a murder has been committed. It doesn't even make sense as usual, all the enforcers have seen tons of civilians get Dominated at the drug store hostage episode.

This anime is such a farce now.

Those guys deserved to die. They killed a bunch of people and tortured immigrants for fun. Burn them all. R.I.P to Akane's grandma (I think). They didn't kill her fairs😂.
