On a scale of 1 to 10 how useful is the 1 to 10 scale?

| I just finished adjusting my ratings down to fit MAL's labels for them and my mean score dropped from 5.95 to 4.62. I wasn't really using the scale properly before. There are anime that I have rated a 5 and enjoyed. I hope my low average doesn't make me look like an edgy elitist. |

| Only really bad ratings tell me anything. If it's lower than 6, it's probably bad, and lower than 5 really dam bad. Finding something good with ratings is unreliable because of people who never change their ratings, only watch a few and popular shows, bandwagoners, and braindead people. |

| I personally would prefer being able to vote with fractions like 8.5/10. Because I do have anime on my list that I think don't deserve a 9 , but an 8 is also a bit low. Personally though I find them useful if you use them right. If you just give everything between 7-10 then your judgement is clouded , or you just really haven't seen an anime that you didn't like. |
| Should be something like: Saitama > God > Dragon > S-class > Demon > A-class > Tiger > B-class > Wolf > C-class > Otaku :p That being said, I do think the rating system is useful. |

I'd even like a system with 4 as average more. |
